Esta unidad está ubicada cerca del muelle de Wood Creek Boat. (Wood Creek Lake es un pequeño lago en el condado de Laurel, KY; no hay paseos en bote, esquí, tubing o jet ski de alta velocidad)

Está al final de Boulder Drive, por lo que casi no hay tráfico.

El camino de entrada está justo detrás de la unidad y está nivelado con la carretera. Las paredes de los acantilados y las rocas rodean gran parte de la propiedad para una belleza natural sin igual.

Tiene vistas al lago desde el frente de la unidad con escalones que bajan al lago hasta el muelle privado.

Relájate en el porche que da al lago y mira pasar a los pescadores. También hay una mesa y sillas donde se puede disfrutar de una taza de café o un buen almuerzo o cena.

Hay muchas ollas y sartenes en la cocina para que pueda preparar sus comidas, pero si desea viajar a Londres, está a poca distancia en coche. También hay kayaks disponibles para su uso.

Loved this place!

Our family of four enjoyed our time at this property. We loved the location of this house. It was tucked back in the trees, had a beautiful view and easy access to the lake. We would definitely recommend staying here!

It was a great stay and the owner was really polite. We had an ant problem, most likely because it rained, but they brought us some ant traps for us. Only thing that bothered me was there was a wasp nest in the front door when we arrived. The main Bathroom needs a little work but that didn't bother us to much. It's a great view and you can walk down the hill to the lake. The driveway down is very hidden and very tight. The owner did make us aware of that the day before our stay.

Perfect get-away

The house, location and description were exactly as depicted. We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfectly restful and quiet. I particularly enjoyed getting up in the morning, sitting out on the porch, watching the sun come up over the hills and listening to the many varieties of birds calling and singing.

BEAUTIFUL AREA WITH GREAT VIEW OF WOOD CREEK

Very nice place with awesome views! The place was very clean and stocked with just about everything you’d need. The beds were comfortable too! The only negative comment I have is that we had 2 trucks with trailers and with the big boulder in the middle of the turn around and a big dumpster on the side of the turn around, it was very challenging to get around and couldn’t get off the road very well. But other than that, I would highly recommend this place! It’s a great location with the gas and stores being within maybe 10 miles.

This cottage is absolutely adorable! We stayed here for a wedding in the area and even squeezed in some fishing. The place is very clean and has a nicely equipped kitchen. I only have 2 small suggestions. As we are big coffee drinkers, a larger coffee maker would have been nice. And the tv seemed very dated. Neither of these things would keep me from staying again though!

Clean but no internet

We loved the location which was remote and yet only 10 minutes from gas and groceries. Everything was in good condition and clean. The beds were comfortable. The 100 steps leading down to the lake were scary and I would not recommend them for children. The main problem for us was the lack of internet. We called the owner who sent someone out to fix it, but it still was not working when we left.

I would not stay there again...

There was mouse poop in the silverware drawer and under the sink....sooo gross. The smoke alarm kept beeping throughout the night that the battery is low The lamp in the bedroom is broke and my nephew got zapped trying to turn it on There is water sitting in some of the pans in the cupboard...and they are black inside of them. The bed felt like it was going to break and it dips in the middle of it. There was a dirty cup in the sink and dishes in the dishwasher when we got there ( was not sure if they were clean or dirty)

Beautiful and calm lake

We had a wonderful stay on this beautiful, calm and serene lake. The house was very comfortable and clean and a nice place to return after days spent fishing and hiking. A true hidden gem!

Great Spot for A Lake Getaway

My son, my husband, and I enjoyed this place very much. The property manager sent directions instead of an actual address, which I thought was strange at first, but once you got down there it made a little more sense. The property was clean but needed the grass cut pretty badly. The grill was also out of propane, but there is a charcoal one as well that we were able to run up the street and purchase stuff for. Overall, for the price you can't beat it. Everything was pretty modern and looked nice inside. The driveway was a little iffy as the drive is an unmarked gravel road right after a pretty dangerous corner (which the property manager did mention in his directions). Our key code that was provided didn't work, so we called the owner and he came right away. Very friendly and responsive. Its about 30-40 mins from Laurel Lake, has its own little walk down to Wood Creek Lake, and is close to several small stores. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Thank you!

Cute cottage

We enjoyed staying here. My husband and I came down to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary! The view was pretty. We enjoyed having our coffee out back, where we could see the lake. We drove down to the dock and did a little fishing. It was a nice place to rest and enjoy the weekend. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice Cabin

The cabin was great for four guys, five would have been a little tight. The parking is lacking if you take a boat it has to be parked down the hill toward the lake, if you need to charge batteries you need a couple hundred feet of cord. We also had three pickups and all three could not park at cabin. Don't take this as bad we had a great time and will go back again more prepared.

Fun at woodcreek

We came in for a fishing trip and had a blast regardless of the weather. The cabins are brand new and very cozy, comfortable and well made. The biggest issues were the driveway needs to be wider. I would have been stuck if it wasn't for 4x4.....and the neighbors dog likes to bark.....alot. but I didn't hear them inside.

I sell real estate in Laurel County Kentucky and live only about 10 minutes from this lake home. I worked as a nursing home administrator for 27 years. I loved working with the elderly and miss it but it was time for a change. Part of my real estate business is renting these Wood Creek Lake properties.

The great little home overlooks beautiful Wood Creek Lake. It is near our home so that we can enjoy it any time that our guests are not. There are trails and parks near by. The Wildcat Offroad park is 8.7 miles away.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

There are two similar units near by and also a small lodge so you could schedule a get together with 30 or so having plenty of room to enjoy a great time in the woods near the water. We are not affiliated with the lodge. We also have a little cabin that is just a couple hundred yards away that is also available to rent.
