KBM rocks!!!

We have stayed with KBM over a dozen times. The largest room at Honua Kai we booked was a 3 bedroom. This time we booked our smallest, the studio (we finally left the kids at home for one trip). From large to small accommodations, KBM’s customer service level remains unparalleled.

Great Studio with awesome views!

My daughter and I stayed in a studio ocean view unit at Honua Kai for a week. The resort was very well maintained. The unit had everything needed, including a washer and dryer, and a good-sized kitchen that was well stocked, and the appliances were all new. KBM was great to work with for the entire process. They communicated everything well in advance of our trip, so there were no surprises. Our unit even came with a free rental car for the week which was a huge savings! I highly recommend KBM and will be using them for future vacations!

Very clean and well stocked.

I was promised the 6th night free, but it was not deducted as promised in the original estimate before booking. Also, other charges were added which made it much more expensive than the original estimate.

This experience was wonderful

This experience was wonderful! Check in went so smoothly and I love that they take care of the rental car experience for you. Everything was clean and when our unit was found to be missing beach chairs, some were delivered within hours of us requesting them. One thing to know, they toss all spices and condiments between renters so you will be starting with bare bones fridge and cabinets. Definitely not a deal breaker, but it's always so exciting to not have to purchase EVERYTHING during just a week long stay.

First class appointed room with a beautiful view

We have vacationed on Maui on numerous occassions, though this was the first through KBM and at the Honua Kai. By comparison, this experience exceeded that of any resort we have previously stayed at. It was a first class appointed room with a beautiful view from the lanai, a great kitchen, and a washer/dryer. The price included the rental car, beach chairs and umbrella, parking, and a well-furnished gym. The biggest reason that we willl return, however, was the overall value - a reasonable price with no hidden fees made this experience a happy one and one we plan to return to on our next trip to the island.

Honua Kai Resort-323

Room set up and view of property is excellent. Resort is wonderful. Room was not fully prepared for our arrival...missing bedding for pull out bed. Called the property manager office and Mel picked up. She was not at all helpful and said we had to wait until the next day which was not acceptable. Within 15 minutes of talking to her someone else called me and was very helpful and had a very kind man deliver the bedding within an hour. Additionally, the room does still have cockroaches as of June 2024 as stated in a past visitors review from Dec 2023. This was not ok.

Great Property with an Awesome View

Perfect studio apartment with an awesome view of the property and the ocean. Great resort. Very clean and well kept. The apartment was exactly like the pictures. The property management team was really great at communicating with me prior to the trip and gave me all the information I needed for check-in. The resort is just beautiful and the pools were wonderful. It was all very well maintained. Very nice beach, just beyond the pool! A couple of things I could have used was a mirror outside of the bathroom. Would have helped with getting ready while the bathroom was being used. The electrical outlets on the kitchen island didn’t work and we put in a maintenance request but it was never resolved. The kitchen is stocked with minimal items, but enough to get by. We had a wonderful stay and I would definitely come back and highly recommend this resort and this specific apartment!

Thank you so much for a beautiful place to spend my vacation. The resort is beautiful and full of helpful and lovely people. The check in, check out process a breeze. The villa was full of everything you need for a home away from home. It was a girls vacation. Very close to everything and pools galore to experience everyday with a short walk to the beach. The beach views were incredible. A masterpiece for pictures. Parking so convenient. A beach walk so you can go to other resorts and have a bite. Yes for sure will be back. No regrets at making this choice for your paradise trip.

Great time, beautiful property

A few outstanding maintenance issues. 1. entry door deadbolt does not engage. Also, the door does not fully close all of the time. The day we requested new towels, the housekeeping staff did not make sure the door was fully closed. When we returned back to the condo, the front door was partially open. 2. Bathroom door jamb has a pretty large crack in it. 3. lamp switch on left side of bed is shorting out, loose wires. 4. Lamp swith on right side of bed is very hard to operate. 5. A smart TV would be great so we would have watched Netflix We would definately recommend this property to friends.

Great place, great stay

Our family of four had a great time! The resort is amazing. The room was amazing. We had a great view of the ocean. The beach in front of the resort was great and a good spot for snorkeling. We had a few requests for the property management company and they were very quick to respond. Last note...although it didn't impact our enjoyment of the trip, the resort is undergoing an exterior painting project that involves lift machines. They were painting the units a few down from us, so the lifts were visible and were occasionally loud. They did a pretty good job trying to keep the noise down though. We were not aware of this prior to arrivals, so it was a bit of a bummer. Like I said though, it didn't impact our enjoyment. But if you're going to be staying here within a few months of October 2022, it might be worth asking about if you think it might bother you. But all-in-all, we would definitely stay here again, even with the painting project. We were very happy with the unit, property, and property management company.

Clean and a great location - Swimming pool

I loved staying here and would definitely come back again. The studio I stayed in was very clean and beautiful. I was able to watch sunsets every night during my stay since it was a short walk to the beach and also felt very safe here. I would give this a 5 star except several days of my stay, the large swimming pool could have been cleaned more. Other than that, there was so many beautiful pools to enjoy and our hostess checked in with us often. I highly recommend staying here.
