Welcome to 18 St Johns Mews.

This high quality two bedroom duplex apartment Benefits internal life from professional interior design throughout with great attention to detail.

In the main living area you will find a wall mounted LCD 55 inch smart TV for your viewing pleasure. One of the benefits of the property is the external balcony with seating for four people. This can be accessed via the floor-to-ceiling glass patio doors in the lounge area.

Behind the main living area there is a dining table to seat for dinner. A stylish, contemporary kitchen can also be found in this area along with all the amenities you'd expect at a property of this standard.

The downstairs area features the two bedrooms. The first of which can be set either as a super king or twin beds upon request.The second bedroom features a double bed and also off this room there is a shower ensuite.

The main bathroom can be found off the hallway and features a walk in shower.

Externally there is a secure car park with allocated parking for one car. The parking space also comes with a charging point for an electric car.

City break

Great location and property, perfect for walking into city. Would recommend for staying again. Only drawbacks were the noisy extractor fan and only provided with a single dishwasher tablet when staying for 6 nights

Top notch accommodation

The apartment was a short walk to the Cathedral and city Centre. Excellent facilities with good showers, extremely comfortable beds and a lovely balcony for evening relaxation. Couldn’t fault it at all.

Comfortable property. Well fitted out. Excellent location. good off road parking. Good customer service (phoned us to make sure we had received joining instructions and to check we were happy with everything). First experience with Stays York and would recommend both property and agents.

Wonderful Location

Gorgeous flat, modern and clean. The little balcony is a nice feature. Very close to the centre of York and easy to get to off the motorway. Will definately stay again. Only tiny tiny comment, no prosecco glasses

Great location, secure parking, would come back

Very clean and modern. Felt safe. Easy walk to Minster and other attractions. Communication was good, and provided info was extensive and helpful. A couple of niggles: shower floor was unexpectedly slippery, ran out of loo roll the second day, no spatula! But really very good.

Excellent base to explore york

Looks like new apartment very close to central York My only little little niggles were that: A. There was washing machine instead of a dishwasher. B. The kitchen sink tap was very slow. Otherwise lovely apartment and no material issues. I would certainly stay here again.

Ideal location with parking

Stayed with friends plenty of room for 4 adults. Beautiful furnishings, maybe could do with comfier chairs in living room area but wasnt a big problem as we sat on the balcony if we were in. Comfy beds and good shower. We had a little problem with the door a few times it wouldnt open or lock the key just spun in the lock. Have let Stays know about the problem. Apart from this would return and recommend.

Review of our stay

There were just a number of small issues that we found which can be easily rectified to make the stay better and means better value for your money. Toilet Seat in en suite bathroom would loose. Towels were marked Cleaning issues especially lamp shade in second bedroom, bathrooms could have been better cleaned, could see finger marks on fridge door and kitchen surfaces. Perhaps better quality furniture. All the above are simple things to put right. .

Great apartment in central location. Fairly spacious for a modern flat. Comfortable beds and quality bedding. One criticism was that there was no soap in the bathrooms, minor detail but important.

Lovely apartment in nice, quiet location within easy walking distance, close to city centre with added bonus of allocated car parking space. Easy to check in and out, apartment spotlessly clean with nice, comfy beds. Thanks also for lovely welcome pack - very nice touch! Would love to stay again if we visit York in the future

Spacious modern property in quiet area about 10mins from Minster

Property was comfortable and modern. Would have liked second set of keys supplied, salt and pepper, shelving in bathroom and bench to put shoes on/off in hallway. Office interactions could have been friendlier

Recent Stay in York - August 2022

This is a beautiful, modern flat with everything that you would need for a short stay. Ideally situated only a few minutes walk from the city centre. I would happily recommend to others. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch too!

Excellent choice for visit to York

The apartment was really nice very clean and comfortable and modern, very handy for looking round York. The only small gripe would be that the main bathroom could do with a shelf for toiletries.

Great apartment, great location, great city!!

We had a wonderful time in York, despite the weather. 18 St Johns was well presented and well positioned for the centre without being IN the centre. Local shops and takeaways also very handy!
