12 Longdoles is a 2 storey/ 4 bed/3 bath lakeside property sleeps up to 8 adults plus 1 child sleeping on a z bed and 1 child up to 5 years (sleeping in large cot/bed) plus infants (1 travel cot available, bedding not included for travel cot) and offers an idyllic waterside location set in 650 acres of nature heaven, surrounded by 6 clear water lakes and established woodland. Located in the heart of the Cotswolds which has some of the finest pubs and farm shops in the country.
On-site spa facilities including indoor heated pool, techno gym, bookable spa treatments (at extra cost).
This stunning temple of airiness and light is in a truly private community, a superb masterpiece created by a world-renowned designer in partnership with an international design group - it makes the most of its location with full height panoramic double glazing affording uninterrupted views from the edge of the lake. This is guaranteed to wow the fussiest and even the most hardened of luxury seekers.
Layout-
Upon entry to this contemporary 4 bedroom/ 3 bathrooms. The 4th bedroom/cinemas room is on the ground floor with a king size sofa bed. Open plan living/kitchen/dining. (sleeps 8 adults plus 1 child sleeping on a z bed and 1 child up to 5years sleeping in a cot/bed, plus infants, 1 travel cot and high chair available on request, bedding not included for travel cot). 2 private parking spaces and extra spaces in an overflow car park within walking distance.
Enter through a hall that immediately leads to a spacious open plan living, dining area and beautifully appointed and well-equipped kitchen for all your needs.
The kitchen is a spacious well- equipped area which includes a Siemens double oven and integrated dishwasher, gas hob with ceiling extractor fan, sage coffee machine, integrated fridge above freezer, wall cupboards and shelving, mirrored splashback, single stainless-steel sink and separate quooker tap. Large kitchen island with seating area for 2 including a 41’’ Samsung TV with online services such as Netflix and prime.
By the kitchen, there is a cosy small snug area made up of 2 comfy chairs and a wood burner, perfect for relaxing and part of the open plan living.
A large extendable stylish white dining table sits central in the room with seating for 8 people and flows to the living area of the room. The living room benefits from a very comfortable corner sofa which seats approx. 6 people and a large Samsung curved tv including sky.
To the left of the living room, there is a 4th bedroom/cinema room which includes a king size sofa bed, a 60" Samsung TV with Samsung Smart Hub and toys for the children.
All ground floor rooms benefit from striking floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that lead onto the deck where you will be overwhelmed by fabulous views of Longdoles Lake and where an abundance of wild fowl can be discovered.
Whilst making the most of the view the decking has an outside dining table with 6 chairs, a coal BBQ, various lounge chairs for your pleasure. 2 kayaks are available for complimentary use with access to the lake via the private jetty to the side of the veranda. (Please note that from October to March access to the lake is suspended in order to protect the over-wintering bird population. This restriction applies to kayaking, boating, fishing and swimming).
The Utility room is to the left of the property housing a Siemens washer and condenser dryer, built in ironing board and microwave with a frosted glass side access door.
The downstairs shower room is a good size and includes a shower cubicle, wall mounted toilet with great access for downstairs usage.
The staircase to the first floor is immediately to the right of the front door leading to 3 bedrooms, 2 further bathrooms and a sauna (located in the ensuite of the master bedroom).
The grand size Master bedroom is along the landing to the left and again benefits from floor to ceiling windows giving magnificent view of the lake in this open plan suite of pure indulgence.
