The host kept in touch before our arrival and once we arrived, great communication. The house was clean and well kept and everything you needed was there in the house. It was in a quiet area with quick and easy access into Aviemore and surrounding areas.

Great accommodation in a beautiful area , close enough to all the local attractions and minutes away from the A9 which will take you anywhere for further exploring, the accommodation is great for a family friendly break and is equipped with everything you would need , enclosed rear garden for the pooches as well as, overall a great place and the owners are delight to deal with and are very quick to get back with any questions you have .

Spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy house - great lounge space, well-equipped kitchen and utility, very comfy beds and lovely bathrooms with great hot showers. Lovely welcome of biscuits and bottle of wine - thank you! The house is in a great location close to all amenities in Aviemore. All in all, a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

Best So Far
We’ve stayed in quite a few places in Aviemore, this was the best so far. The house was clean, bright and modern. Plenty of space, good television and everything we needed in the kitchen. Will definitely stay again.

We had a great time at Nicks place in Aviemore
We had a great time at Nicks place in Aviemore. He was a v responsive host and gave us excellent instructions and an easy check in/out. The house was immaculate, modern and had everything we needed, the welcome basket was much appreciated. An excellent base to explore the Highlands as a family with our dog.

Nice comfortable property within walking distance of the centre of Aviemore. A good base for exploring the highlands area.
Provide a secure cycle store, dish towels and more serving/cooking dishes.
Plant a screen at the road end of the garden for a little more privacy.

Fit and finish is excellent. Had lots of little bits needed during our stay like soaps and cloths and sponges etc.
I know its difficult but I always like it when earlier check in and later check out is possible.

Comfortable home from home!
Location of the house is ideal for exploring Aviemore. House is modern and very comfortable. Second stay here and would stay again.
Sofa is very worn now.
Front door handle needs adjusted, very difficult to open.
House was clean but we did find sweetie rubbish inside the wardrobe in the front twin bedroom.
All very minor and didn’t affect our stay.

Wonderful House
Ideally located for all amenities and recreational activities 31 Caledonia Place was a delight to stay in. Very clean and well laid out it was ideal for the six people in our group. Everything was pristine and the house had all the amenities that would be needed for outdoor activities and doing your own cooking.
In short we could not fault it.
A very nice touch with the welcome pack containing all the information needed and some local tablet and shortbread.
I hope we will be able to stay here in any future visits to Aviemore.

Erin Having worked in tourism for many years, I felt now was the time to give people the sustainable choices that are increasingly important to us all. So using my extensive knowledge of the local market, I have created igloo with Nick. I understand fully the needs of owners and guests, having worked in the industry for a considerable length of time in management roles within rentals, sales and lodge services.
What I love best about the job is the customer satisfaction. Ensuring that everything is as it should be when my guests arrive and that they are kept well informed before, during and after their stay. I love it when people call and you really get a chance to get to know them.
I have been brought up in Aviemore, as were many generations of my family before me. So I bring a deep rooted sense of love and responsibility to the area that I live in.
Nick I have had two passions for as long as I can remember - Travelling and The Highlands.
Growing up here in the Highlands, I have always been passionate about its history, places, people and our world class food & drink. I am particularly fond of our local craft beers!
I love to travel and I've always enjoyed getting off beaten track and experiencing things like a local. There is no better way to do this than self-catering.
Starting igloo with Erin not only allows me to combine these two passions but brings together my design, marketing and management skills built from a varied career across the public and private sector.
