A modern open plan 2 bedroom terraced house located on a cul de sac just a few minutes walk to the town centre or Warwick House wedding venue. Perfect for friends & families or contractors visiting Southam and the surrounding areas. Sleeps up to 6 guests with 2 separate beds plus 1 sofa bed. Parking included for 2 vehicles.
Pound house has 2 double bedrooms, plus a sofa bed with mattress topper included in the living room, sleeping 6. The house has hotel quality linen and large fluffy towels. There is one main bathroom with a shower over bath.
Downstairs is an open plan living dining room, along with a separate kitchen which is fully equipped for your home away from home, with fridge-freezer, oven, hob and microwave and a washing machine. Outside you`ll find a garden with patio and garden furniture for catching afternoon or evening sun.
A wide screen TV and high speed broadband.
We welcome 2 small, well-behaved dogs at this property and charge £35 per pet per stay (invoiced separately).
Option to use the sofa bed at £10 per stay, invoiced separately.
Early check-in or late check-out requests are charged at £15 per hour and are subject to availability. These requests must be made a minimum of 72 hours in advance to allow for changes to housekeeping rotas.
We require all guests to complete a Guest Info form (to agree to our T&Cs and House Rules) and submit a copy of a valid ID prior to the release of check-in details. We assure you that all submissions are encrypted and are treated according to GDPR rules.
Please be aware that we can only accept bookings from lead guests / bookers who are at least 21 years old.
Alison and Gemma run a number of holiday cottages and rental properties in the area and are delighted to welcome you to Pound House.
We strive to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We both live locally and are always happy to recommend things to do or places to go. We will leave you to enjoy your stay in peace, but are available should you need us.
In the centre of Southam just a 5-minute walk to the high street with shops, a variety of pubs and food options. It is also approximately 10 minutes walk to Warwick House (wedding venue) and just 10 mins by car from Junct 12 M40 at Gaydon, 10 min from HS2 compounds at Ladbroke, 15 mins from Leamington train station.
You are also close to the Fosse Way, a 40 minute drive will see you in Moreton-in-Marsh or Chipping Camden, the heart of Cotswold country. Alternatively, 30 minutes in the opposite direction will take you to Birmingham, with its NEC and airport.
Situated with close proximity to Warwick, Leamington, Banbury, Rugby, Daventry, and Coventry with easy access to the M40 just 10 mins away. Also close by are several HS2 compounds.
We’re thrilled you’ve chosen our space for your getaway. We want you to have an amazing stay with us, and we’ve tried to think of the finer details to help you do just that.
In return, we ask you to please abide by the following rules.
• All of our homes are in residential areas. We want you to enjoy your stay, but we also ask that you have some consideration for our neighbours.
• If we suspect any prohibited substances or drugs are being used, you will be asked to leave immediately and will not be refunded.
• NOT to use the property for parties, hen/stag parties or gatherings. If, on arrival, it is felt the guests are intending to use the property for such an event, you will be refused entrance. If we believe a party is underway, you will be charged £2,000.
• Please keep music to a reasonable level outside.
• NOT to be the cause of any significant noise between 10PM and 9AM. If noise is deemed to be excessive, we reserve the right to ask you to leave and you will not be refunded.
• NOT to cause an annoyance or become a nuisance to occupants of adjoining premises.
• NOT to smoke inside the property. Smoking is allowed OUTSIDE the property, provided all doors and windows are closed. If we suspect you have been smoking in the property, you will be charged £300 (i.e., your security deposit will not be returned).
• Please read any safety notices and advice upon arrival to the property, in particular, parking information and fire safety details.
• NOT to re-let or sublet the property to any other group/party.
• Only use the property strictly for residential purposes.
• NOT to make use of the phone or fax line connected to the property.
• NOT to light any fires or candles in the property.
• NOT to permit any visitors to enter the property, where authorisation has not been requested in advance.
• Please leave the house in a clean and tidy condition, including running the dishwasher (if the house has one), putting rubbish in outside bins and tidying away anything you have used.
We promise not to be the fun police, and we fully respect your space and time in our properties. Please do enjoy your time with us. We hope you leave relaxed and well-rested!
