Casa rural en gran ubicación central del pueblo. Caminatas por el país disponibles.

Nuestra nueva cabaña ecológica está construida en el corazón del encantador pueblo de Badby. Construido con un estándar muy alto, utiliza acabados de materiales naturales siempre que sea posible. Cuenta con dos habitaciones con un diseño flexible para dormir (doble o súper king hasta la habitación principal), dos baños, un cómodo salón, cocina totalmente equipada y sofá cama. La propiedad se beneficia de las últimas tecnologías de calefacción que cuentan con un sistema de calefacción de fuente subterránea Hanson Formpave Themopave, además de agua caliente con energía solar y calefacción por suelo radiante. A un corto paseo de dos excelentes pubs de campo que sirven cervezas reales y comida casera.
Hay estacionamiento fuera de la carretera en el patio privado más estacionamiento adicional en el callejón sin salida extremadamente tranquilo fuera de la cabaña.

Wonderful stay in the country

Val always has everything ready for a lovely stay. The cottage is very clean, all appliances work and there is a notebook with answers to FAQ.The cottage is located on the village of Badby which is quiet, the surrounding area is beautiful and the people who live there are friendly.Always a wonderful stay

Lovely stay in Badby

A very enjoyable stay in the pretty and quiet village of Badby. The house was just as described and perfect for our needs. Good little playground and cafe and pub a short walk away. In a perfect world the curtains in the bedrooms would have blackout lining (for the summer sunrises) and the dishwasher would be replaced as the racks are shedding rust, but otherwise a fantastic stay.

A short visit to Badby to see friends

As always, it was wonderful. The cottage is convenient and comfortable. It has everything need for an excellent stay. It's quiet and very clean. We even had a friend over for dinner. It had everything we needed for a great dinner. Our thanks again to Val for all she does to make it a great holiday.

Good facilities

We only stayed for two nights in this cottage and wished we could stay longer. Quiet residential area in the pretty village of Badby. Well stocked with unexpected milk, coffee, washing up liquid, t-towels etc. That’s great as there’s always something one forgets and good for us on such a short stay.

2nd Visit and it won't be our last!!

We are from the States and stayed there for a week last year. When it was time for another visit, we immediately booked with Val. She was able to accommodate our early check in request (needed a couple hours of sleep after an all night flight), the house is spotless and the king sized bed is amazing! There is a pub within walking distance and we enjoyed talking with Zach and the locals. Definitely 10 out of 10 rating!

Perfect place to stay near family

I came here with my husband, our nearly 2 year old daughter and my husbands grandmother, to stay near my sister-in-law in Daventry. We were a 10 minute drive from them, and the cottage was perfect. It was accessible for our grandma, and there was a highchair for my daughter and a travel cot and plenty of room for the travel cot to be set up. Unfortunately there was really loud music on the first night, but we couldn't work out where this was coming from as the cottage is detached! This isn't the fault or problem of Val though, and luckily didn't wake our daughter. Hopefully just a one off as we couldn't hear it the next night. We hope to stay again when we next visit family as it is perfect. Definitely recommend!

We will be back!!!

We are from the States and spent 6 nights in this lovely cottage. We chose this cottage because of the king size bed and it did not disappoint! The village is beautiful and the pub (within walking distance) has great food and atmosphere. We have family and friends in Northamptonshire and this location was perfect. The cottage had all the amenities of home. Val was amazing and responded to our questions within minutes.

Just what we needed

Such a lovely little cottage, finished to a really good quality - the photos do not do it justice! Communication with Valerie the owner was also fantastic - I was staying here the night before my wedding and my nerves ahead of time meant I had a few questions and Valerie always got back to me within a few minutes. Perfect base for a local wedding.

Photos are an accurate representation of the property. All services worked perfectly. Useful single level layout that suited my elderly parents well. The host, Val always responded promptly. Would strongly recommend if you need a base near Badby. Local pub has good food and friendly staff.

Quiet location

Great stay for a local wedding

The house was lovely. It had plenty of space for our family. Val even dropped by to give us milk and it was nice to meet her. We had everything we needed and it was well positioned to get to the wedding venue in 7 minutes. Would definitely stay again

Lovely stay

Listing is accurate of this property. It's in a quiet location, kitchen is equipped with the essentials - saucepans, frying pans, cooking utensils, crockery etc. The cottage is clean and comfortable. Check-in was and communication with the owner was easy and straightforward. Only slight thing was the WiFi was not great - with 2 kids YouTube is essential for some downtime for parents! Not a deal breaker as I would come back to stay again.

The village is both quiet and has an amazing central location which is within easy reach of all of the towns listed above. Both the village pubs offer a welcoming atmosphere with great food and real ales.

The cottage offers the benefits of a picturesque cottage with it's stone walls and slate roof and wooden picture , there are Oak doors throughout, solid Oak floors with under floor heating to the hall and living areas. Natural Travertine tiles to the bathrooms and top quality fittings including the kitchen.
