Clean, comfortable and good location

Very comfortable unit in a great location. Very clean. Great beds and pillows. Could use some insulation between floors and walls. Could hear neighbors walking around above us. However, quiet hours were great and not too much of a concern. Otherwise, would definitely stay here again! Close to town and attractions

Found it very clean. Must be able to do stairs with your suitcases. Parking is good. Saw a mouse walking in driveway. Very close to downtown. Beds were very comfy. Didn’t cook just simple breakfast and coffee. But well stocked kitchen

This lodge was very very clean. Loved all the extras that were provided such as towels, and a very well equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend this unit.

A Comfortable Stay!

This was a great rental choice for my family and I. The rental is tucked into the woods, but not far from Seward Harbor. The place was clean and comfortable and looked just as it did in the photos. Kristi was great with her communication. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area!

This is a wonderful, comfortable, clean property with everything you could need and it is just 10 minutes from the main part of Seward. The owner was great to work with. The laundry facilities are so convenient. They even provide detergent and dryer sheets. The Safeway grocery is about 5 min south of the property. Two things to consider: if you can walk to the second floor, I would suggest it. There is little insulation between floors so you hear every noise when you are on the first floor as we were. If you are mobility impaired there is a ramp to the first level but it is not an easy climb. No walkin shower also. I have some mobility issues, which is why I mention this. Overall, I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Recent stay

The unit was very clean and new. Well equipped and the location in the woods was very nice. Beds were comfortable and linens were in great shape. If you are a very sound sleeper this would be a good unit. I'm a light sleeper and the sounds from the other units made it very hard to sleep. We were in one of the ground floor units and I could hear everything going on in the adjacent units.

Great getaway but thin floors and walls

Great location close to Seward and Kanai NP. Spacious, clean and well stocked. Walls and floors very thin. Carpet and GOOD QUALITY PADDING in bedrooms would help immensely! Safeway in town would NOT give change for quarters for washer and dryer. Waitress don’t have coin. Make free!

Comfortable, convenient place to stay!

When my family travels we like to be near the things we want to do but don't want to be right IN everything. This is that place. The activities and places we did and went to were just a short drive from this location but we were a little removed from the busyness of being in the middle of town. This suite is very comfortable and has what you would need to be comfortable while being away from home. the deck with the picnic table and grill is also a really nice feature, especially since the weather was so nice during our stay. And, after a couple of days hiking and fishing, it was really nice to have laundry facilities on the property so we didn't have to haul a bunch of stinky clothes back home with us and didn't have to waste vacation time sitting at a laundromat! The host was very quick to respond to a question I had the check in and out process is very easy. The information binder was very helpful, too! Thank you for a great place to stay!

Overall great property

Traveling with 2 adults and 2 teenagers (who are the size of adults), we had a great stay at Kristi's place for 5 nights. The location was great, with 10 minutes into Seward "downtown" and short drives to surrounding attractions we visited. The apartment and its location in the woods provides a very nice "cabin feel". It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bedrooms, kitchen and living room area was spacious. The only, very minor situation was that the 4 of us had to share one bathroom that was a little small. But we managed well by splitting up showers between evening and morning. Communication with Kristi was excellent. Very responsive from booking through checkout and quick to fulfill the one small request we had of her during our stay. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay and we would highly recommend this apartment.

We are Jimmy and Kristi Akana, the proud owners of Pacific Heights Lodging. Jimmy is a Fishing Charter Captain of a local operation here in Seward. Kristi is a former Elementary and Special Education Teacher that now devotes her time and energy ensuring all their guests have everything they need while enjoying their stay here in Seward. We finally accomplished our dream of being a Seward Host to both family and friends from near and afar.

Our four-plex differs from most typical Seward rentals as it is totally Brand New! We wanted our guests to enjoy Alaska's beauty while only being minutes from town hence why we chose this piece of land to build on. Our Lodge is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood yet only a few miles from the Seward Small Boat Harbor and Downtown. Construction of the Pacific Heights Lodge was completed in June of 2017.

When constructing our Lodge we made sure to include amenities that would allow our guests ultimate comfort and the feeling of being at home. We designed our Lodge with modern Suites that include contemporary furnishings, appliances, and fixtures. We also chose to install In-Floor Heating for coziness and a top of the line Heating and Circulation Ventilation System to provide premium air quality.
