This 2nd floor private room with a shared bathroom and toilet is the perfect base for your Amsterdam city trip.
The room is on the 2nd floor above restaurant "t stuivertje".
The restaurant is serving quality food from 17:00 till 22:00.

## Access

It is situated on the 2nd floor of the building. The bathroom and toilet are shared. This room is not suitable for people with mobility problems due to 2 flights of steps. A friendly reminder to leave the shared spaces clean and tidy during your stay please.

Welcome to the city of tolerance and diversity. It has all the advantages of a big capital: rich culture, thrilling nightlife, international restaurants, good transport - yet quiet in road traffic. In this city, your destination is never far away!

## Transit
As a capital city, it is very easy to reach from Schiphol Airport and to get around by public transport. Trains, buses and trams will get you to your destination in an efficient way. Even better for short distances and a local experience is of course by bicycle!

If you want to travel to other cities and places, normally public transport is also very convenient depending on the location of your plans of course. We will share a handy website with you to plan your route!

This apartment is very close to the central station (walking distance). Parking is difficult along the canals. The best is to make use of Amsterdam Park & Ride.

Quick Weekend Trip

This is a small, clean apartment in a convenient location. I was late getting into town, and the owner was looking out for me and helped me check in. Very helpful. I would stay here again!

Great host and space!

Amsterdam was lovely and the stay was fantastic. Clean room, nice people. Would caution that it is a steep set of two stairs to location, but other than that highly recommend. Great location!

Good Location and quiet

Room is true to pics with lots of Amsterdam charm. The location is in a good central location with short distance to many good restaurants to choose from including Dutch, Italians, ramen and more. .

Amazing, cozy apartment in the heart of the city

Our stay in Amsterdam was amazing. The apartment is centrally located, cozy as can be, and accurately depicted in the listing. The check in was easy and the hosts were prompt communicators. Would definitely return to this spot.

Comfortable and quiet

Great location and very cute room. Everything was clean and the host was welcoming. We had some wifi issues but didn’t need it enough to bother our host about it — otherwise everything else was positive!

Excellent location!

We had a wonderful time! The room we were in was in a loft type location, with a very steep ladder style access to our room. The coffee machine was broken unfortunately so we went out for our morning coffee. The room was clean, and our host was very attentive. There is one other room in the same building that we shared the bathroom with, which was not an issue for us. We would stay here again!

Great stay in the Jordaan

We loved our stay in Amsterdam! The location was perfect for us - so beautiful to be right by the canals while also in such a peaceful place. The room was comfortable and we really enjoyed the outdoor area where we had our coffee each morning. We had the place nearly to ourselves, and staying here made our experience in Amsterdam really special. As other reviews said the stairs are steep, and going down a flight to the bathroom/kitchen was a little challenging - but we think it was really worth it! Our host was thoughtful and went out of his way to make us comfortable.

Excellent Stay

I stayed at this property for 3 days and enjoyed it and Amsterdam thoroughly. The host was very helpful and open. I had no issues with anything at the property. The area is very nice and quite at night. Only possible downside could be for people with mobility issues as the staircases are very narrow and steep. As long as you're aware of that, I recommend this place.

Amsterdam Shared Space

First and foremost, the location was the main draw. Right near the heart of downtown. Apartment located above owner's restaurant. The Wifi was not accessible. I solely used the room to sleep, so it wasn't a huge deal. The walk from Amsterdam Centraal was LONG (~30 min), so use the public transit. The view from the room was nothing to write home about. Listing was a bit misleading as there are pictures of nice Amsterdam views which are not actually from the apartment. It is a shared space with the owner and one other room. Other couple was nice so no issues there. Stove was off limits according to the owner. Again, I was there to sleep so not an issue. Owner was cordial, and I didn't see him other than check in. Room was clean and quiet. Great spot for recharging from the 15 miles a day of walking I did while in Amsterdam.

Logement vieillot à rafraîchir, cher mais bien placé dans un quartier très agréable.

Nous n’avons eu qu’un jeu de serviette pour deux, les escaliers pour monter à la chambre sous les toits sont très raides et les marches très étroites, la propreté est moyenne, pas mal de poussière sur les meubles, et le tapis de bain dans la salle de bain commune n’est pas propre, la climatisation un gros bloc dans la chambre est extrêmement bruyante, on entend tout tout à travers les murs en particulier les conversations téléphoniques de notre hôte après 22 h alors qu’il est inscrit dans la chambre de ne pas faire de bruit après 22 h… cependant le logement est bien placé mais ça reste très cher pour ce que c’est à mon sens. Pour accéder aux toilettes il faut descendre 2 étages et en pleine nuit c’est un problème pour certains.es. Logement vieillot à rafraîchir.

Wir haben unsere zwei Nächte sehr genossen. Alles was man braucht, gibt es in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Es dürfte mehr Besteck geben. Ein zweiter Stuhl/Sessel wäre schön.

La présentation du logement ne précise pas que la cuisine, les WC et la douche sont partagés avec d'autres occupants. IL n'ya qu'un lavabo dans la chambre, sans eau chaude, et sans prise facilement accessible pour un rasoir. Pas de lampes de chevet. Appartement très bruyant situé au-dessus d'un restaurant où les soirées se prolongent tardivement. Propreté des lieux douteuse. Le prix est donc excessif en regard du confort proposé. Logement déconseillé si on veut passer un séjour au calme!

Not a good end to my time in Amsterdam

Host was rude, threatening and overall not nice. Mistake was made in my part with booking and I immediately apologized and owned up to it and he was still rude about it. I’ll write more on air bnb review
