Una gran villa de lujo de tres niveles con espectaculares vistas de la ciudad y el mar Caribe. Ubicado en una tranquila zona residencial de lujo en Marisule en la costa oeste. A poca distancia de la playa, hotel y restaurante. 15 minutos a pie del supermercado. A 10 minutos en coche de la ciudad y de los centros comerciales, restaurantes y clubes nocturnos de Rodney Bay. La villa cuenta con una piscina suspendida, dos salas de estar y comedor, así como una cocina totalmente equipada y lavandería.
Amplias habitaciones con aire acondicionado y vista al mar. Acceso directo a la piscina y al área de la cubierta desde una de las dos grandes salas de estar. La villa también cuenta con tres patios cubiertos y una gran terraza de la piscina para la experiencia ideal al aire libre. Zona residencial tranquila con residencias privadas de lujo y villas. A 3 minutos a pie del hotel de playa vecino y con vistas al océano.
Villa se encuentra a solo 10 minutos a pie de la autopista principal, donde el transporte público está fácilmente disponible para la ciudad y para el área turística de Rodney Bay en el norte. Gimnasio con equipo cardiovascular y máquina de pesas incluidos. La propiedad está completamente cercada con puerta de acceso y estacionamiento en el lugar. La villa está conectada para 240v y 110v. It was a nice house but it needed couple little things, like a laundry basket, tissues in each bathroom and more converters would be nice. The windows needs to be better sealed to prevent bugs from coming into the bedrooms. The road to the house is a bit bumpy. Check in was easy and the host was great. It you don’t mind taking taxis everywhere you go then it’s a good house. If you want to walk to restaurants then this is not for you.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful week at Villa Thompson! The views are fantastic. What a beautiful location to watch the cruise ships in the bay. The house is huge and could easily accommodate a couple of families. The pool area is wonderful. No electric adapters are needed for US travelers, which was nice. Communication with Paul was very easy and it's nice to know he's very close by. We highly recommend this place and would love to come again!

Fantastic Vacation

The house was just as described and waking up to that view every morning was amazing. There was more than enough room for our group of 8. The pool area was the perfect space to relax and cool off when you needed it. Paul was an incredible host, attentive to all of our needs. There was a known power outage in our area and he gave us a heads up of exactly when it was happening. He provided suggestions for local restaurants-check out Coal Pot if you have a chance. The area had a few beautiful hidden beaches if you want to explore. Otherwise, Rodney Bay was an easy drive. Excursions were nice because they picked you up at the resort within walking distance of the house. We would definitely come back!

Spacious Home

Plenty of room/separate common spaces for group of seven. Home a little dated but clean. Enjoyed daily use of pool and walks down to beach. Able to purchase day pass for lounger, kayak and paddle board use at small resort located on beach (adults only). Site seeing company picked group up directly from the home otherwise used rental car for all other excursions. Paul was pleasant and responsive to a few additional requests.

Great Stay, as Advertised

Villa Thompson was spacious and had all of the amenities we were looking for. The A/C in each bedroom kept the entire family cool at night for a comfortable sleep. Plenty of bathrooms. Lounging around the pool on down days was a nice alternative, as well as the short hike down to Calabash Resort beach, which provided a nice hike and swim for early risers. Paul was fantastic and attentive to all of our needs. Having the washer dryer came in handy.

Villa Thompson

We had a fantastic time in St Lucia! Villa Thompson is in a great location for touring all areas of the island. The house had everything we needed and we especially loved the views, the pool and the access to Calabash Cove next door. You can access their beach for free and eat at the restaurant or use the spa without a day pass. We did buy a day pass one day (30 USD) and spent the day at the pool, beach, paddle boarding and kayaking. We also had dinner there one night. The one thing to note and be aware of is that there is no AC in any of the common areas so it gets quite hot. There are fans, we opened doors and windows and there’s AC in all the bedrooms. Paul is great and responds quickly! The washer and dryer is great and we used it daily! We used the same driver for all of our day trips and I highly recommend him! Gideon Stephen is his name and you can message him on Facebook. I can provide his number if anyone needs it. I just don’t have it on hand. Overall, loved it and highly recommend.

Our stay at Villa Thompson

Had a wonderful stay at Villa Thompson. The villa is very spacious, we had s group of 8 people and there was still more than enough space for everyone to have their own privacy. The highlight of the property was definitely the pool for us, although it’s not the biggest pool, it was lovely. Walking down to the Calabash Cove beach was also great, very very nice beach, just a short walk down. The only downside id say is If you don’t plan on renting a car, or spending a bunch on taxis, then you might wanna stay somewhere closer to Rodney Bay. But if transportation isn’t a factor for you, then this villa is perfectly situated.

Great Stay!

Great house off the beaten path for a big group with a lot of space to spread out.  We spent most of our time in the pool which was so relaxing and convenient.  The water view from the pool deck or any of the patios is gorgeous. We loved watching cruise ships come into the bay. Paul was great about showing us around once we got there and was available if we needed anything throughout our stay.  If you're coming from the US, the house has outlets for US plugs - you just have to turn a switch on to use them.  The house is just up the hill from Calabash Cove Resort, so we were able to get day passes a few of the days to use their beach, pool and restaurants.  It is also close to grocery stores and Rodney Bay for restaurants and activities.  As previous reviewers said, the kitchen is stocked with just the basics.  We were a party of four and had enough dishes, utensils, and cookware to cook basic meals, but not much beyond that. All in all, a great stay!

St Lucia retreat

The Villa was beautiful and clean. During my month long stay, I ran into a number of problems but the owner, Paul Thompson, who lives across the road, was extremely helpful and immediately handled any issue. He has a taxi driver, Popo, who was very reliable and dependable. It was wonderful to come to a strange place and feel that someone is looking out for you. I only had to call and my problem was handled. The view was breathtaking and the pool was delightful. It was a vacation where dreams and memories are made!

Family Vacation

The villa spacious for my family of 12. Paul was a wonderful host and answered all my inquiries when booking. The views overlooking the Castries Cruise port was wonderful expecially sitting out in the moring watching the cruise ships coming with a cup of coffee in my hand :-). Our taxi driver Mr. Popo was there whenever we need him to take us around. Will definitely keep Villa Thompson in mind when booking again. Thanks again Mr. Thompson for hosting us. Ashoora Maki

Amazing view and location!

We had a fantastic time in St. Lucia! I can't say enough amazing things about the views from the house, the drivers Ernest and Ollie (sp?) and the overall experience throughout the week. We enjoyed the rainforest adventure, the volcano, mud baths, waterfalls, SNUBA and throughout all of it Ernest was informative, friendly and just WAY above and beyond anything we would have imagined. Paul was also very helpful and attentive to our needs. The beds were comfy and the a/c in the bedrooms was a MUST for us. Be aware that there are no screens and there are mosquitos so spray up! The only reason I am removing one star is that there was very little in the kitchen in you wanted to cook your own meals and that the house was in need of quite a few repairs. Curtain rods were down, furniture was taped together, railings were showing rot but we didn't expect perfect for the price and it's an island home so not really a big deal! I am a seasoned cook so I made it work and thanks to Ernest, we found some AMAZING local restaurants! Just be aware that you will need to bring everything with you if you intend to cook, i.e. ALL spices, seasonings, etc. You may need additional pans as well, depending on what you want to make but again, not anything you can't work around! We would go back again in a heartbeat. Best vacation we've ever taken by far!!!

Lovely house on a lovely island

This was our 11th annual "chick trip" to various islands in the Caribbean, and we were impressed with our house selection this year. First of all, St. Lucia is a really beautiful island and there is so much to do there. We picked this house because of it's location to Rodney Bay/Reduit Beach, Pigeon Island, Gros Islet, and Castries, all of which were within a 15-20 minute "easy" (meaning no hairpin-turn, steep, or narrow roads that many other roads St. Lucia is made up of) drive. The house was spacious and clean. The views from the various decks and from the pool were amazing! All of the bedrooms had air conditioners which was really nice. The main living area had enormous high ceilings which explains why there was no A/C there, but if you opened the doors/windows - a pleasant breeze was all you needed to cool it down. When we were at the house (which wasn't much), we spend most of our time on the main-level balcony or near the pool watching cruise ships pull in and enjoying the spectacular views. We are seasoned travelers of the Caribbean and accept that there might be some downfalls and imperfections. While not everything was perfect (could use a few more kitchen accessories), the affordability of this house more than made up for the small details. If you want perfection and upper-class luxury you can pay for that at a resort at Sugar Beach. Charles was a great host. He was there when we arrived to explain the details of the house. While he resides very close, he did not hover over us, but was always responsive to questions and requests, even when we needed help ordering pizza delivery or transportation for part of our party back to the airport. Access to the closest beach is a 5-10 minute walk through the Calabash Cove Resort. It's a small beach, but it is really nice! For a reasonable fee, you can obtain a day pass to use the resort facilities - which gives you access to the beautiful pool, beach chairs, SUP's, and kayaks. Although the beach is public to all, I believe the resort is adults-only. The house was very affordable compared to others of similar quality. I would recommend this house and would come back again.

Exceptional Villa

Wonderful villa, with exceptional views, photos did not do it justice. Paul, the host, was brilliant and kept in the background. He was always there when needed. The pool was a joy, within easy access to Rodney Bay, parking for 2 cars. Lots of bird life to watch and enjoy.

Quiet privacy near everything in Gros Islet

Property has very adaptable lay out for close family or group of friends. Owner Paul lives close by and was very attentive in helping us navigate local connections to drivers and key attractions. Quiet beach access is short walk down at Calabash Cove. We oozed in often but enjoyed several fine meals out, including at Calabash Cove. Their spa is awesome too !

Superb and would recommended the villa

We had a great stay, We took a family of 10 and there is more than enough room to not be in each others faces, The rooms are clean very spacious. the pool had outstanding views across the waters so you can watch the cruise liners pulling at Castries, as did 3 of the bedrooms , 2 have balconies. The villa is placed central to Castries and Rodney Bay 5 to 10 minutes traffic depending, the host Paul was more than helpful, He was there if you needed him,

Great Vacation

He check in process was one of the easiest I’ve been through, Mr. Thompson lives across the road from the home and met us upon arrival. He was very friendly and responsive to any questions we had during our stay. The view from the home is spectacular, the air conditioned bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. The main house area is without AC, but after we figured out when to open and shut windows to take advantage of cooler evening temps it was all good. The home is a great value for the money spent and very accommodating for our group of 8. The pool area is nice, only thing would be a few more lounge chairs would have been nice for our larger group. Lastly, the cleaning lady did come in mid week to do the floors and change all he bed sheets, which was a nice service to have.

Big and beautiful.

As others have said, the house is huge. We are family of 5 and had way more space than we needed. The house is a short walk to a nice beach, at Calabash Cove resort where we were welcome at the restaurant, and of course the beach. All beaches on the island are public and open to all. Others have said they were able to access the pool at the resort, we were not welcomed (probably because we had kids as part of our group). The kitchen was well stocked with plates, pots, and pans. The view of the bay is amazing, and though in a neighborhood you still fell like you’re in the lush jungle. If driving, markets, shopping and restaurants are 5 to 10 minute drive. We had spent the bulk of our vacation in the south adventuring, and were using Villa Thompson as a couple days of relaxation at the beach and pool before leaving the island. Would definitely stay again.
