Abrir una puerta en la playa!

Esta maravillosa casa de vacaciones se basa en una pequeña bahía aislada, en medio de dos colinas, en la isla de Evia, al otro lado del continente Attica.

Su excelente ubicación le permite ser escondido de las ciudades ocupadas y el turismo sin duda corriente principal, proporcionando así la paz y la tranquilidad, sin que sea lejos de la civilización. Un pequeño pueblo de pescadores con excelentes tabernas de pescado fresco se encuentra a sólo 10 minutos en coche, y las ciudades costeras más grandes con una vida nocturna más animada en un radio de 20 minutos en coche. Además, desde la isla de Evia está conectada con el continente a través de varios transbordadores y un puente, el aeropuerto de Atenas está a menos de 2 horas de distancia.

La rareza de esta casa sin embargo está en otra parte. Su puerta del jardín occidental abre literalmente en una playa preciosa, con cristalinas aguas color turquesa tendido antes de que, dando la frase "en la playa" un nuevo significado. Además, gracias a la protección proporcionada por las colinas de los alrededores, el mar es siempre tranquilo y acogedor, incluso cuando 'Aeolos, el dios del viento, está emocionado ...

La casa en sí consta de tres dormitorios -el dormitorio principal con baño-privada, un gran salón con chimenea, comedor y una amplia cocina totalmente equipada. En el exterior, la casa cuenta con dos amplias terrazas -uno protegidos, y uno completamente alfresco-, tanto completa con zona de comedor, un viejo estilo barbacoa de piedra y un gran jardín que incluye áreas abiertas, varios árboles frutales y un columpio; todas con vistas a una encantadora vista al mar.

La excepcional ubicación y el diseño de esta casa de vacaciones es ideal para familias con niños, parejas o un grupo de amigos en busca de unas vacaciones junto a la playa en Grecia.

Amazing private stay

Stayed at this beautiful location with family and friends for 7 nights! The host Mrs Irene was super friendly and sweet. Along with Alex (who was very helpful, amazing) and provided us with all the information required for this location, direction, restaurants and local shops. Stores are located about 30ish min away so ensure you stop on the way to get your groceries. The location is also very private. The beach was heaven and pretty much private - prefect for families. Would book this house again - 100%

Perfect holiday - Beautiful and private

My family and I (4 adults, 3 kids) had an amazing time here! The house is lovely, clean, well-equipped, quiet, with views of the magnificent small bay. The beach starts literally at the edge of the enormous house garden and is almost private. I mean, we read the description before coming but we couldn’t believe how true it was! We mostly had the entire bay to ourselves for the duration of our stay. An added bonus is that the bay is protected by surrounding hills and isn’t affected by winds, plus that the water’s edge is shallow so we felt very safe for the kids. Our stay was so amazing, like time stopped at the perfect point and our family was so relaxed and happy. The entire area is hidden away from it all, we saw only a few local people who also enjoy the blissful location. We went shopping the first day and never felt the need to leave the house. Porto Buffalo village is 5 minutes by car and has shops and a couple of lovely-looking tavernas but honestly, we preferred the luxury of our privacy at the house! Irene, the house owner, and Alex, property manager both were amazing, super helpful and made our stay so comfortable and pleasant. Thank you both very much!

Perfect beach house

We had the perfect holiday in this property. The property has a large garden which runs parallel to the beach in a quiet bay and faces directly out to sea . The gate in the pictures is at the bottom of the garden and is 1 minute's walk from the large patio outside the house. The bay is really quiet and beautiful and we were often the only people on the beach and in the sea. The house itself is also really lovely to be in - the living area is spacious and there are two large windows which look right out to sea. They are difficult to photograph because of the brightness of the sea and sky and the photographs of the house don't really do justice to the views . We intended to explore Evia, but in the end spent 10 days mostly in the house area or swimming/on the beach as it was such a lovely place to be. The nearest supermarket is 30 minutes away, but the roads are fine and the house is so well equipped (far better than other self catering places we have been to) that we didn't feel the need to seek out restaurants , although the seafood at the beach front restaurant in porto buffalo was really good . The host Eirini was charming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble . We met up with Eirini at the entrance to Porto Buffalo after texting en route and getting to the property could not have been easier. If we are able to, we would all love to visit again.

Piece of Paradise

Mbuffalo is a small fishing village located on the Island of Evia, Greece. The house is located a little further away which was a challenge to find for anyone hence we needed assistance. Once at property we couldn’t believe how private this place away. The view of the beautiful bay from the front verandah is so lovely it’s hard to believe that we had this whole beach to ourselves mostly for 6 days. We shared the beach with a couple of small boats that had made this their home for a couple of days, along with approximately 10 maximum walk in day beach lovers. This never interfered with our gated privacy to the property. There are small pebbles between foreshore and 2 meters into water but then you have sand. The water was deliciously refreshing and also warm. Would loved to have stayed longer. The negative on the property is we didn’t get to meet the owner as suggested providing us with details and things to do in area. We did meet the owners daughter who helped us find our way to property which was a blessing. The property is tired and needs to provide non speaking Greek guests an instructions manual to assit them with the operational needs. Lucky we were mechanical minded! Also have house presented in a clean ready to go for guests and not have refrigerators unclean with leftover food from previous visitors. I wasn’t a great start to our holiday however, we had a great time, the house is in an awesome location and yes if the chance comes again to visit we will.

There was a family emergency which the owner could not avoid, so sadly she could not greet you personally or make the cleaning arrangements as she normally does. Une merveilleuse semaine ! Un véritable havre de paix loin du tumulte citadin et des tourisme à outrance. La maison est équipée d’un four et de plaques électriques, de grands plats et de matériel adapté pour plusieurs personnes. Les espaces intérieurs et extérieurs sont agréables et la piscine ajoutée au dernier moment fut un luxe. L’accès à la plage est immédiat et facile et il y a très peu de monde. L’eau est merveilleuse et le snorkling très agréable. Les espaces extérieurs offrent plusieurs possibilités (ombre ou pas) pour les repas. La communication avec le gérant et la propriétaire a été extrêmement fluide. Un immense merci à Alex et Erini. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir et recommandons vivement à tous les amoureux de la nature !

Propriété magnifique et bien équipée

Nous avons passé 2 superbes semaines dans cette magnifique propriété calme, bien équipée et au jardin d'Eden. Jardin clôturé aux multiples arbres fruitiers dont nous avons cueilli les fruits et où nos 2 jeunes enfants sont partis en exploration avant de profiter de la mer au pied du jardin. De nombreux sites (plage, randos) dans un rayon de 30 minutes à une heure de route superbes à découvrir et avec très peu de monde. Communication avec le gestionnaire et la propriétaire simple et réactive.

Un lieu magnifique

Le plus de cette location c'est sa situation face à la mer dans une crique splendide. L'eau est calme et la plage très peu fréquentée idéal pour une famille avec enfants. Un havre de paix en bas de la maison. Pour le reste la maison est agréable et très facile à vivre avec les prestations attendues. L'accueil est très professionnel et sympathique. Une bonne adresse pour un séjour au calme loin de tout mais proche de l'essentiel.

Simply wow

It’s a remote paradise. Super communication with the property manager and subsequently the owner. Rustic and a few things could use updating but overall the place is perfect. Huge - like 8 acres- fenced in area so our dog (and kids) could run around freely in the countryside and direct access to an absolutely stunning bay with crystal clear waters. As a friend who came to visit for lunch one day said, “epic location”. That’s an understatement.

Beautiful views, quiet beach, comfortable house with garden and lovely outside spaces.

Booking and communication with Alex at Blue Windows, was efficient, straightforward and friendly. The directions to the house from Athens are considered and detailed and we appreciated them. However had Eirini not met us in Porto Buffalo , we would not have found the house so we are grateful to her for that. Eirini could not have been more helpful to us or more friendly. She gave us a lovely welcome, despite us being late and showed us around the house. She was always available to contact if we needed help. The house is very comfortable, airy and extremely clean. There are direct views to the beautiful bay and a very short walk down through the garden to the beach . The water is calm and it is a wonderful bay to swim in and to watch the boats coming in for the day. The beach is pebbled ( which I prefer). It’s a quiet beach with usually only the people from the holiday house next door and some local residents. On our last day there was only ourselves and three or four others on the beach, so plenty of space and privacy. I had been worried about the track down to the house from the road , but it was fine. We drove slowly and there were no problems. The road between Porto Buffalo and the entrance to the track leading to the house was however for me, a cautious driver, intimidating. Often a single track , not always in great condition,with few passing places for one stretch of it and a sheer drop on one side , made it , for me, probably not for a local or more confident driver, an anxious drive. Especially when we met an oncoming articulated lorry in the dark! Apart from that we had a very restful break in this lovely place and would recommend it.

Superbe location au bord de l’eau, dans une très belle région, au calme

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison et le jardin sont très agréables. La petite plage est très calme , nichée dans une crique aux eaux limpides. Le petit port a proximité est également très tranquille avec des restaurants au bord de l’eau.

ein schönes Haus direkt am Strand

Wir haben 2 sehr erholsame Wochen in dem Haus verbracht. Es enthält alles was man so im Urlaub braucht. An den Wochenenden kamen viele Einheimische an den Strand, in der Woche hatten wir ihn fast für uns allein. Die Anfahrt zum Haus war etwas schwierig, vor allem für uns, da wir nachts angereist sind, war das ein Abenteuer.

Excellent holiday home, almost private beach

Highly recommended. The home was exactly as advertised and even better. The beautiful beach was on our doorstep and the kids absolutely loved it. Some days we had the whole beach just to ourselves! The home is private, quiet, clean, and well equipped. Eirini the owner was kind and very accommodating, and Alex the manager was amazing at organizing our trip. Thank you for an unforgettable vacation!

A beautiful house on a stunning bay

This is a beautiful house in a glorious location. The agent Alex at Blue Window was a joy to deal with, and the owner Eirini and here daughter Ariadni were welcoming, informative and helpful hosts from start to finish. It really was everything we expected – and more – and we'd have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. The location and surroundings made for a perfect holiday... the fantastic beach at the end of the garden (literally), nearby Porto Buffalo with its quaint and welcoming tavernas, but most of all the wonderful sense of solitude and calm. We have a family 'policy' of never visiting the same destination twice, but I have a feeling that might be tested at some point! Best wishes from Cambridge, UK, Tim and Rebecca Gillett

Amazing place - great holiday!

After some difficulites we found the way to the house, it is an extremely nice and well kept place, the owner was very friendly and helpful, answered all our questions and helped with everything we needed. We immediately felt at home and enjoyed our stay to the fullest! The perfect place to relax and feel good.
