Amazing property short walk to the beach

This is a great property with a large pool and all the facilities you need. We stayed here with 2 families, 4 adults and 4 teenagers and had a great time. The property is only a short walk to the beach. And around 30 minutes for Athens. The owners were very friendly and even brought us a homemade pasta dish for the first evening and a dessert pie during the week. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend staying here.

Stay in Marathon

Fantastic house and location. Great pool and outside space. A 15 minute flat walk into the village for shops and restaurants and 5 minute walk from the beach. 30 minute drive to the Athens Metro with easy access to all of Athens from there.

Great villa

Lovely property - lots of space and comprehensive facilities. We were three generations in our group (of 12) and the accommodation suited all our needs. Beautiful garden for children to play in and for adults to relax. Very close to beach and many restaurants Host very responsive to our various requests - and generous. He went above and beyond to ensure a happy stay. Highly recommended

What a fantastic stay we had at Villa Koralia - we really cannot praise this house and location enough! The pool and garden were just perfect and beautifully kept. The kids (mainly teens) particularly loved the diving board! The fact that you could also walk to the beach in just a couple of minutes was fantastic, and tavernas and a supermarket just a short walk away too. We coped easily without a car but there were also ubers readily available for those times we wanted to go further afield. The host Kostadis was super helpful and always on hand if you needed him - we also had homemade food from his Mum sent round too. We really couldn’t have wished for more!

From start to finish, this was perfect. The communication was brilliant. Alex from Blue Window Holidays was great with the initial booking and information and then Kostadis (the owner) continued the perfect communication. Kostadis met us at the Villa at the exact time we agreed and showed us around so we knew where everything was. We also send special thank to his mother for cooking a lovely welcome meal for our arrival - perfect when we hadn't had time to get any food in, and also a lovely cake/tart half way through the week. The fruit basket was also full for us. The Villla was the perfect size. We were a group of 5 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 children. There was plenty of space for all of us, the pool and garden was great. There is WIFI so the teens were happy! The local restaurant's were about 15-30 minute walk depending on what type of food you wanted and in the nearby village, less than 10 min drive or 30 min walk there were several shops and a bakery which sold the most amazing pastries. The beach was a 3 minute walk. For those wanting to get into central Athens we highly recommend driving to the nearby train station and getting the train in, it was £15euros for the 9 of us which includes the metro/tube all day through Athens and it was super easy. Overall highly recommend this place and we look forward to a return visit.

Grecian Heaven

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Koralia. A beautiful home and garden with a fabulous pool. Our flight into Athens was delayed by 3 hours and we can't thank the owner enough ,who waited until 11:30pm for us to arrive! And on top of that his Mother had cooked a delicious Pistatsio for us which was very welcome after a very long day travelling. The beautiful beach was just 5 minutes walk from the house, with many places to eat and shop a short walk along the seafront. There are several places of historical interest nearby, but equally if you want to just relax, the pool and garden are perfect for this. We also enjoyed feeding and looking after the resident 'stray' cats... All in all a lovely holiday, and we would highly recommend a stay here.

Amazing villa

From the original booking until the final departure, any questions we had about the villa before and during our stay were always addressed quickly and in a helpful way. Alex, the property manager, and the owner, Kostadis, went out of their way to make our experience as smooth as possible, and made sure our stay was unforgettable. The villa itself exceeded our expectations, the location was great for the beach, bars and restaurants within walking distance, or a short drive to a larger group of shops, restaurants and cafes. The house itself is in a quiet location, and the beautiful garden provides a lot of privacy, with an amazing pool, and we spent most of our time in the garden sitting around the pool, enjoying everything the villa had to offer! And inside, there is enough living space and bedrooms so a large group staying won’t feel crowded, the kitchen is very well-equipped, and the whole house is very clean and well-maintained. We had an amazing holiday, and would definitely go back. And we would highly recommend it!

The best!

We booked Villa Koralia as a family of 5 and another family of 4 and it was absolutely perfect for us. There is ample space so you aren't living on top of each other. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you may need and shops/supermarkets are a short drive away The villa itself was spotless on arrival and Kostadis (the owner) was there for check in and throughout our stay he was on hand with any questions I had/help needed, a really lovely, approachable friendly person. The aircon works perfectly keeping us cool in the 38deg heat during our stay. And of course assisted by the beautiful pool. The beach is a short 5 minute walk and there are loads of beach bars along the beach front. You can also walk into the closest little village which has a small supermarket. 1 thing to watch out for, we got a cab from Athens and were ripped off big time because we didn't know better. You should be charged around €45/€50 (we were charged €116). The local cabs we took were all really nice and helpful with very reasonable prices. All in all I would 100% recommend visiting the area, villa Koralia and using Alex at Blue Window Holiday Homes Thank you all for making our stay so wonderful

A perfect family holiday!!

We stayed at Villa Koralia with our children and grandparents. It was like living in a millionaire's resort. The place is simply beautiful, with an amazing garden, pool, and beach very close - at walking distance. The house itself is comfortable, very clean, and well equipped. It was even better than the pictures. The scenery is breathtaking, peaceful and quiet - we spent hours upon hours just truly relaxing on the spacious balcony, or by the pool. The kids had a blast playing in the garden [which is nicely gated] and on the beach. Did I mention the billiard table?...I hesitate to calculate the hours spent playing! The owner is generous, warm and friendly, and made us feel at home upon arrival. The manager helped us with the booking process and made everything so easy. The location is very accessible, and we found everything we needed - groceries, taverns and shops in the immediate area. The people were very kind everywhere we went, and the food was just delicious! Also the location could serve as a hub for daytrips to Athens, and many Islands since the Rafina port is also very close. We visited the beautiful Island of Andros for a day, and it was just amazing to have this wonderful house to return to after the day-trip. It was by far the best rental house we every visited, even though it was off season. We had a fabulous time, and would definitely come back!

Highly recommended!

Our family had the most amazing time in this villa! We visited for five days at the end of October and we are already planning to book again for next year. The villa is stunning and super clean. We fell in love with the pool area and the garden. We all felt like celebrities because the pool area is so beautiful, private and huge. My nephews had the best time of their life playing there and honestly, so did we, the adults! Although we visited late in the year, the weather was splendid and we enjoyed it immensely. Also, there is a wonderful sand beach a couple of minutes by foot which was great. The interior is also excellent. It has a very well equipped kitchen (better than mine, at home!), the bedrooms are marvelous and the common areas as spacious and comfortable. It was very obvious from the moment we set foot that Kostantis, the owner, loves the villa and looks after it with devotion and professionalism. We could immediately see how much care he has put into it and making his guests feel welcome. Also, the villa is located at the perfect spot. We found a lot of shops, tavernas, restaurants, cafes at walking distance. Downtown Athens is a short drive away and we went to the Acropolis and the ancient Agora and then had marvelous dinner and ice cream. Thank you so much Kostantis and Alex, the property manager. You both made everything so easy, comfortable and safe for us. We look forward to visiting again!

We wanted to avoid staying in heavily touristy areas but also wanted to be able to have a break from driving. This villa was perfect. 5 mins on foot to the beach, 25 mins' walk along the beach road and you have a couple of small supermarkets and a pharmacy, and you will have passed multiple beach bars and restaurants. Lovely walk at sunset. Sandy beach is not crowded, and there are two beach bars at the foot of the road from the villa with pairs of loungers that are free on weekdays so long as you purchase the odd drink or lunch. It is very relaxed. We used swim shoes as there are stones on entry to the water, but none of the locals were doing so. The sea is shallow for a very long way, and fish are clearly visible.Spacious villa with generous sized pool and multiple shaded outdoor spaces. Effective air con in all the bedrooms & main living room. The owner meets you there on arrival and departure, and is available via WhatsApp. He is very helpful, and his mother had made us food for the first night which was very welcome (two further dishes arrived during our stay!). His flexibility on checkout time transformed our last day.Useful infoThe owner provided a list of trusted local taxis (we went to Athens). We ordered shopping for delivery (approx 1 hour wait) from AB supermarket in the next town using the efood app. We also used the app to order takeaway delivery from local restaurants. Dishwasher tabs, toilet roll, kitchen roll etc are all provided by the host.

Our best holiday ever!

My family has rented through VRBO for years but we've never stayed in such a wonderful villa before! It is gorgeous, extremely clean, everything inside is new and it is perfect for families with kids. We spent most of our time by the pool. It’s enormous and even has a diving board. You can imagine how happy our kids were! And so were we because the pool is surrounded by tall trees, giving us privacy and the option to sit under the lush shade. There is even an outdoor sink and small fridge so you don't have to walk inside the house to get your fruits or cold drinks. A very important feature is that the property is gated. We felt very safe when our kids were playing outdoors. Inside, the villa is equally amazing. Everything is functional, new, clean, and extremely tidy. And I must mention the playroom with the full-sized billiard, and bar. It was hard pulling the dads away! As for the surrounding area, everything is so close. Groceries, taverns, and most importantly the splendid sandy beach that is right around the corner at 2 minutes walk. Parents will appreciate not needing to put kids in and out of the car all the time. Finally, the villa is located so close to Athens. We visited the Parthenon, Acropolis Museum and had delicious food at Plaka. I wish we could have stayed longer, or forever, really! Thank you so much to the owner Konstadis, you are a gem, and to Alex, the property manager who made our booking so easy for us. We wholeheartedly recommend it!

We had a wonderful week in the house, which was perfect for two families and our parents. It has a beautiful garden and a large pool. It is close to the beach and several lovely restaurants. Kostadis was a very kind host and treated us to both homemade lasagna and a fruit pie that his mother had made.

Wir hatten wunderbare 8 Tage in Marathon. Man fährt ca 1 Stunde mit dem Auto bis Athen/ Akropolis.Der Ort selbst ist nicht sehr sehenswert und wir empfehlen unbedingt die Strandpromenade zu wählen. Das Meer und die Strände sind malerisch schön!In der Villa/ Garten bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Eine unfassbare Freundlichkeit des Vermieters wurde uns entgegengebracht! Die Kommunikation per WhatsApp lief reibungslos.Wir können nicht oft genug DANKE sagen! Es war eine wunderschöne Zeit für uns (3 Familien).P.s Wenn man Rückenprobleme hat, sollte man sich etwas mitnehmen, da die Matratzen sehr hart sind.

Super Unterkunft für Urlaub mit Freunden

Wir haben mit einer 13ner Jungsgruppe eine Woche Urlaub gemacht. Der Vermieter war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus + Grundstück waren super und wir hatten unserer Ruhe. Das einzige was etwas ärgerlich war, war die Entfernung des nächsten Supermarkts.. Overall super zufrieden. Sehr Empfehlenswert.

Dejligt feriehus i Marathon

Vi nød alle virkelig vores ophold i huset og nærliggende område herunder den dejlige strand tæt på. Området ligger en times kørsel fra Athen, hvilket fuldendte vores ferie, som en dejlig bade- og storbyferie. Det levede fuldt op til vores forventninger. Vi havde en fortrinlig kommunikation med Vrbo omkring de spørgsmål vi havde inden opholdet.
