In a quiet but beautiful waterfront location, you will find our Knilles lodges. The ideal location to discover all the beauty of Fryslân. Indulge in a relaxing experience amidst our picturesque water environment. Enjoy peace and quiet on the outskirts (approx. 750m) of the cozy water sports village of Akkrum.

🛋️ Living room with open kitchen

Upon entering, you step into the bright living room with an open kitchen. The living room contains a dining and sitting area where you can enjoy time with friends and family. Enjoy a good book in the armchair, or watch an exciting show together from the couch. In fine weather, open the French doors that give access to the (covered) terrace.

The open kitchen includes a stove, cooker hood, dishwasher, combi microwave, refrigerator with freezer drawer, (filter) coffee maker, and kettle.

💤🚿 Bedrooms and bathroom

The lodge has 2 bedrooms. The rooms are equipped with box-spring beds that can accommodate two people. Upon arrival, the beds are made for the reserved number of guests. The bathroom has a shower, bathroom cabinet with mirror, and toilet.

🌳 Garden

The Knilles lodges are beautifully situated on the waterfront. Outside you have a lovely garden equipped with patio furniture where you can enjoy the outdoors and the view of the small harbor. From your own jetty, you can easily cast a fishing rod, moor your (rental) boat, or take a refreshing dip in the water. You can also sail right up the Meinesleat to enjoy a nice trip. Now that's bliss!

You can park your car in the general parking lot about 50m from your property.

Your stay includes the use of free Wi-Fi. Smoking is prohibited in the accommodation. Pets (max. 2) are allowed in some accommodations. You can find these accommodations by entering your pets in the travel party.

Quickly book a vacation home of your choice at our delightful recreation park on the outskirts of Akkrum. The area has a lot to offer for nature lovers. With numerous hiking, biking, driving, or boating routes, there is plenty to explore in the heart of Fryslân.

Please visit the reception for suggestions on (sporty) vacation activities. At the reception, we offer a bread service where you can pick up fresh rolls every day (provided you have ordered a day in advance). There is also a laundry with a washer and dryer behind the reception building that you can use for a fee.  

Are you coming in the winter months? Late season or have a day of Dutch wet weather? Even then you will not be bored! Visit one of the cozy (Elf) towns or villages in the area. Tourist attractions include Sneek, Leeuwarden, Terhorne, Joure and, for example, Grou.
