Charming apartment in villa with exclusive pool , Palermo (Sicily)

The charming apartment is located on the ground floor of an imposing XX century villa on a hill overlooking Palermo.
In open countryside but at the same time so close to the town (just a few minutes by car) the apartment is perfect to enjoy peace, space, beauty on the grounds of the private villa with the exclusive panoramic pool and the mediterranean garden, either to visit central Palermo and its monuments ( 15 minutes car to reach the historical centre). Being so close to the main artery that leads to the highway, guests can also enjoy daily trips to Monreale, Cefalù, Solunto, Segesta, Mozia, Erice, Trapani, Agrigento, Selinunte, Piazza Armerina, Caltagirone ecc. and to a variety of beaches along the coast. The apartment of about 80 sq. meters is suitable for 2-3 couples or for a family, it can accommodate up to 6 people. The colours of the interiors are in accord to the warm colour of the villa. On the floor old ceramics tiles are mixed with italian “cotto”, furnishing are a mix of modern and antique, to make the typical atmosphere of sicilian houses of the same period. All facilities including grocery, bar, bakery, pizzeria, are within a 5 minutes drive downhill. Palermo airport is at about 30 minutes drive. Free private parking is available for two car spaces. Car is required and absolutely necessary being the property uphill. The apartment has panoramic views of the garden with is specimen plantings. The outdoor area is nice and peacefull, guest can use to eat in summer the private external patio furnished with seats, table and a big umbrella and barbecue, and enjoy the garden all around with sofa under a large gazebo in front the garden with the panorama of Palermo and Mount Pellegrino and the mounting behind. All around lemon, oranges , mandarini and nectarin trees. The villa has a lovely private fenced pool, wich is very safety for children, with changing cabin and hot shower. Pool is given in private exclusive use to the guests from 9,30 a.m. to 19,30 p.m. The very helpful owner that lives in the villa will meet guests on arrival and show how everything works into the apartment, give maps, suggest itineraries, where to shop, what to visit.
The apartment, all at one level ( there is just one step inside), has both heating and air conditioning in each room. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a living room with table, seats, sofa , TV with dvd player, a small nice fully equipped kitchen (with electric stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer), a wardrobe room with an additional larger fridge. In the first room with the alcove there is a small fridge. Internet free wifi connection at guests disposal. Two bedrooms have queen sized beds and one has two twin beds. Two bathrooms are en suite. One bathroom has a shower, and two have both tub and shower. Bathrooms are modern, gleaming and have heated towel racks. There is also an outdoor shower for summer use. Each bedroom has access to the furnished private patio. Amenities includes also a washing machine. For safety reasons children are not accepted under 5 years. Price includes electric and gas consumption, parking, final cleaning ,free internet, parking, air conditioning and heating.
