Ubicado en el centro de Viking Village, en el corazón del complejo Sunday River, tiene acceso directo a la montaña a través del sendero Road Runner a White Cap Lodge para esquiar, andar en bicicleta de montaña y un cómodo acceso al campo de golf Sunday River diseñado por Robert Trent Jones II. Perfect location, Super Homey

We had such a nice time at the Chalet at Sunday River. The place was large, and homey. The fireplace was so wonderful. Kitchen had everything you need and Closets were stocked with games- our kids loved it as well. Thanks for having our family, and happy new year!

Cozy Ski House

Great family ski home. Convenient to roadrunner trail for skiing. Nice open space for family to gather and enjoy beautiful fireplace. We will return!

Home Sweet Home

This is a lovely house and a great place to stay! We were two families, with parents and teens and it was a comfy home and a great location. Short walk to the trail, and we watched the fireworks on Sat right from the porch! Spacious table and living room with lots of room for ski gear. Would definitely stay again.

Snow Paradise

Excellent location. Pics do not do this property justice. Tons of space, fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, lots of blankets and games. Spent a lot of time in front of the fire enjoying the snow. Roadrunner trail is a short walk from the house, access to the trail does close at 4pm so if you’re planning twilight skiing you will need to arrange for pickup at the lodge. Lots of fun, hope to be back!

Great location and space

Clean well appointed kitchen supplies to bedding. Big family room tv was a little tricky was able to connect with apple AirPlay to watch the football playoffs. Easy access to ski trails right from house also can drive through the neighborhood to access other side of mountain for the easiest trails 2 minute drive. Loved it!! Thank you!!

Couldn’t beat it!

The Chalet was perfect! Plenty of room for our family to spread out— the teens had their own space upstairs, which they loved. Kitchen had everything we needed and being able to keep all our ski gear in the walkout basement was great. Big kids walked to the ski on trail for first tracks, while we got to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee before joining them. Coming home for lunch was so easy— although once inside the chalet it’s hard to motivate to leave again! Plenty of firewood, heated blankets, and welcome basket treats. We can’t wait to come back and already booked another stay! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Perfect location and beautiful place!

Loved this place. Five bedrooms is awesome. Well stocked kitchen (even Pam cooking spray!) and a little welcome basket. Property manager responded immediately about a running toilet. Easy short walk to Roadrunner ski run, and onto the slopes - such fun. Beautiful huge fireplace and a shed full of wood, plus burnables to get it going. Great communal space.Bathrooms were small and upstairs walls are thin. Beds of varying quality. Not a big deal.Suggestion for owner - need a second key for the house for multiple adults.Definitely a find! I recommend this rental.

Great MLK Weekend

It was the first time at the chalet for us. We stayed with another family, so there were 8 people in total, and we had plenty of room to spread out. Everything was clean, plenty of towels, and all you need for cooking. We appreciated having an empty fridge so we had lots of space for our food. The fireplace was the drawing feature upon booking and we got great use out of it. The basement room to take off boots and leave skis/boards is handing too. The added bonus was how convenient the ski in/ski out was. Since we were there during a snow storm, which dumped 18”, the owners were also very easy to work with on adding another day to our stay. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Great Weekend

Another great weekend at the chalet. Location is great and house is very comfortable. We lost power for several hours due to the snow storm but had the fire going strong! Thank you for helping us make some lasting memories.

Family friendly ski home

Two families enjoyed a week at this chalet and we loved it. Plenty of room, beautiful fire place, and a convenient location and walk to Road Runner trail. We will be back!!

Great Chalet!

We had a great weekend at the Chalet. Although the temps were in the minus digits we had a warm fire and convient location to come back to after hitting the slopes. Plenty of room for our family and the dog loved being able to finally come along with us.!! Unfortunaly We never could find a WiFi connection but it was the perfect break from a different kind of year for everyone.. We will be back!!😊

Great place to stay for skiing!

We loved The Chalet! Location was perfect, a two minute walk to Road Runner to start your day or be able to take a quick lunch break. The Chalet had so much room for my adult family of 5, we felt comfortable right away! It was so nice to play games at night while enjoying the beautiful, huge fireplace and large dining area. The basement ski storage area was great to keep snowy boots and skis with direct access to outside. Would definitely return! Thank you!!

Great property! Would rent again

Short walk to the slopes (5-15 minutes depending on where you want to start), great reliable wifi, very clean, very roomy, really tastefully furnished. The driveway loop can be pretty slippery and steep on one end, so if you want full parking capacity, make sure whoever's on the end is comfortable parking on an aggressive incline! This rental was a great deal and I would absolutely rent it again. Thanks so much!

Great place great owners however home away is the worst app ever

Chalet at Sunday River is fantastic, owners are awesome.....HomeAway is now charging a surcharge to owners like $150 per visit, they make you install their app to get any details about your trip confirmation rather than having a web-based application... Then follow up with numerous emails about nothing you care about... Steer clear of HomeAway

A slopeside home away from home

We've been coming to The Chalet, (we call it "the big house") annually for about a decade. It's inviting, well laid out, appointed and cozy. There's always wood available for using the fantastic fireplace in the open (25 foot ceiling) living room, a great place for après-ski . The dining/kitchen area comfortably sits our group of 9 and has everything that you would need to prepare most meals. With 4 separate bedrooms and a large "bunk room" there are plenty of separate spaces to easily have quiet and down time for families and different schedules. The first and second floor bathrooms means never having to wait to shower. The ski room in the basement is perfect to get geared up for the slopes then head up the stairs to the outside and a 1 minute walk to the Roadrunner trail. Additionally the side and circular driveway can accommodate 5 - 6 cars. We love our time at "the big house", it's the highlight of our ski season at Sunday River and look forward to it every year.
