About the Property
Whinny Brae is a bright and spacious apartment set within a beautifully restored Edwardian building in Broughty Ferry. Once a primary school, the building retains elegant Art Nouveau architecture and generous proportions, giving the apartment a wonderful sense of light and space.
Now known as The Eastern Residences, the development blends the character of the original sandstone building with modern living. Large windows fill the rooms with natural light, while the stylish interior creates a relaxed coastal atmosphere.
With private parking, attractive shared gardens and a location just minutes from the beach and town centre, Whinny Brae provides a comfortable base for exploring this popular seaside area.
Living Space and Bedrooms
The apartment is arranged across two levels, making clever use of a mezzanine layout for the two double bedrooms upstairs. Glass detailing helps maintain the sense of openness while ensuring the bedrooms remain quiet and private.
On the ground floor you will find a large open plan living space designed for relaxing and spending time together. Comfortable sofas provide a welcoming place to unwind, while the dining table seats six for shared meals.
At the top of the stairs there is also a small desk area, useful if you need to catch up on emails or write a few postcards during your stay.

The nearby sandy beach is a lovely place for a walk, and families often enjoy the playpark at Castle Green. There are also a number of local cycle paths to explore along the coast.
