The apartment is located next to Las Ramblas and Liceu theater.
The Space:
Welcome to this 80 m2 spacious and bright flat in a historical building located next to Las Ramblas and the emblematic centre of Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya. Barcelona’s historic Old Town is an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, containing some of the most emblematic monuments and museums of the city.
We are managers of other apartments in the building, really convenient for big families, groups of friends or business trips. Please note all apartments are almost identical, on layout, equipment and characteristics, but there might be some small changes on decoration.

The apartment has a capacity for up to 6 people distributed in 3 bedrooms:
- Bedroom 1: 1 Double bed
- Bedroom 2: 1 Double bed
- Bedroom 3: 1 Individual bed
- Living room: Sofa-bed

The Neighborhood:
El Raval is a cosmopolitan and multicultural neighborhood that is part of the Ciutat Vella district, the historic part of Barcelona. It is the perfect place for lovers of history and culture, as it is home to emblematic monuments and museums of Barcelona. The Palau Güell, the MACBA, the CCCB and the famous Mercado de la Boqueria are some of the symbols of this neighborhood where people of all nationalities converge.
Getting Around:
- The apartment is located 5 minutes away from Liceu metro station (L3) by Las Ramblas.
- The easiest way to get from/to the airport is taking the Aerobus at Plaza Catalunya, this costs around 4,50 EUR per person.
Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***
- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.
- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.
- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)
*** HOUSE RULES ***
1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Grocery stores were very close by.
The apartment is in an old building, but it was fine.
Clean, comfortable rooms, and an elevator.
The apartment has a good kitchen too which is well equipped, and very handy for breakfast.
The lication is great for La Ramblas, lots of small restaurants and the Metro.

Family Barcelona trip
Our family had a wonderful trip to Barcelona and our accommodations were clean, safe and right near the action of Las Ramblas. It was great to have air conditioning for the hot days and we loved the easy check in process. The electronic key made it easy for everyone in our party to have a key. We had a blast!

The apartment was quite large. There was a balcony on both the double bedrooms. My group made good use of the washing machine. Both the bathroom and kitchen are modern. Be ready to climb a few stairs to get to the apartment. I will try to stay here again the next time I am in Barcelona.

Not a nice neighborhood noisy not secure
Don’t stay here unless you are comfortable waking up about 100 steep stairs lift does not work. Building has no security and is in a less than desirable neighborhood although close to the attractions it is a very horrible experience. No locks on widows
We booked for three days but left after only one night. We are in our 60’s and could not walk up stairs. We asked for refund fir the 2 unused nights but were refused by management.

Convenient location
The apartment was spacious and very conveniently located. There are many places to eat that are within walking distance, grocery stores less than a minute walk from the entrance. Getting a taxi or taking the subway was only a short walk away.
The apartment was able to accommodate 5 adult guests as advertised and getting in touch with the property owner was easy and quick response.
While the listed description covers the property quite well, I would offer a few suggestions for the property owner. Given the # of adults and period of our stay some additional amenities such as dishwasher pods or dish soap, garbage bags, toilet paper, hand towels or instructions for the washing machine would have been appreciated. Finally, it didnt affect us but could for others with mobility issues but the elevator was broke so you need to be able to walk up and down several flights of steps.
Overall it was a good rental and we enjoyed our time in Barcelona!

Thank you for your feedback. The Akiles system was briefly offline, which caused access difficulties, but we sent alternative instructions that you may not have seen.
Additionally, we checked in with you on the second day, and you mentioned everything was fine. This is the first we've heard about the water issue.

Appartement agréable mais certains éléments sont à revoir 1) cuisine :absence de théière, de passoire petite et grande et d’une casserole de taille moyenne 2) chaises branlantes et bruyantes 3) salle de bain: manque d’accroche serviettesL’appartement reste malgré ces manques agréable,bien chauffé et excellemment bien situé

Séjour parfait!
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement propre, très calme et hyper central de Barcelone! Bien que situé à 3 mn à pied des Ramblas, l'appartement est extrêmement calme, situé juste à coté d'un supermarché. La communication avec l'hôte est excellente: hyper réactif, facilitant, avec d'excellentes adresses de restos!
