Gather with extended family and friends and relax in your own private hot tub. Nestled alongside Dilham Canal, boasting waterside views, this quiet waterway, approximately 9 miles long, runs onto the market town of North Walsham. As well as private hot tubs, both properties feature a fantastic games room. In Canal View House (ref UK39363), cosy nights in can be enjoyed snuggled up by the wood burner, and the well-equipped kitchen offers the opportunity to dine in. There is also a private enclosed garden, perfect for al fresco eating and relaxation.
This is a great location to explore or simply relax and unwind on the comfy sofas, or maybe even enjoy a tranquil evening under the stars relaxing in the hot tub. There are opportunities for great walking and cycling to enjoy direct from the doorstep, having miles of footpaths and trails to explore, including local woods, footpaths, North Walsham, and in part, alongside the Dilham Canal.
Explore the excellent sandy beaches of the North Norfolk Coast or the Norfolk Broads. The seaside village of Mundesley, 4 miles, has an excellent sandy beach, and the seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham also house glorious sandy beaches and are host to many attractions. Cromer boasts a pier, with a carnival week which is held in August and, weather permitting, a spectacular New Year’s Day celebration, complete with fireworks. Sheringham is home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, Splash fun pool and Sheringham Gardens. There are numerous bird sanctuaries, salt marshes and wildlife centres that punctuate the region.
Wroxham, 12 miles, is known as capital of the Norfolk Broads and has daily boat hires and river trips available, riverside cafés, pubs and shops. The market town of North Walsham, 2 miles, is perfect for guests to visit the supermarkets, shops, cafés, library and bank, as well as the vast bistro and gourmet eating establishments in the surrounding area. Enjoy a trip to the city of Norwich, 16 miles, where there is a fantastic castle museum, cathedral, excellent shopping, theatre, art galleries, cafés, pubs and restaurants.
Places of historical interest and stately homes can be found within easy driving distance, and Blickling Hall boasts open air concerts during the summer season. Perfect for entertaining the younger generations, these properties are also close to Banham Zoo, Wroxham Barns craft centre and play park, Dinosaur Adventure Park at Lenwade and BeWILDerwood at Horning. There are also many places within driving distance, ideal for walking your four-legged friends, including Blickling Park, where you can also enjoy lunch afterwards at the local pub. Beach 4 miles. Holiday Barn
An ideal holiday home for our large family ages between 2 and 78. The games room was a hit with everyone and perfect for rainy days.
Good to have the secure outside space for the little ones and dog. Nice location near to super woodland walks and not far from the beach. The country smells were really strong so we couldn’t leave the patio doors open, shame because there were 2 nice verandas we could have enjoyed.
On the whole a plus from us all.

Il start by saying we had an absolutely lovely time at the property over new year, 6 adults and 6 children fitted perfectly in the property and we enjoyed the amount of space and the layout was perfect. We enjoyed the hot tub and walking in the country from the front door. Views across the canal were pretty and the chrisymas tree was a nice (if slightly bare) touch. The owner was very kind and quick to respond to messages. The little welcome treats were very well received! We were however a bit disappointed given how much money we had paid and the luxury status of the property to find that numerous things including a dishwasher and an oven were broken as well as a leaking towel radiator in one of the bedrooms, very wobbly toilet seats and loo paper holders, sick on one of the verandas, wobbly dining chairs, broken zips on some sofa cushions and dirty crockery in the kitchen. We contacted the owner about the sick, wobbly toilet seats and broken dishwasher as they affected us during our stay and he sent someone round that day so that was very good but he said he hadn’t had time to do maintenance due to it being booked up since summer. If that’s the case then more time is needed between turn arounds to ensure things can be dealt with. Don’t get me wrong I know property owners can be dealt some unpredictable situations depending on customers but this just shouted that the property wasn’t cared for and if the planning application outside noting it’s being turned from holiday let into normal dwelling is anything to go by we’re guessing the persons heart wasn’t in it anymore which was sad for us as we expected more.
