The warm and welcoming lounge has a Smart TV, comfortable sofa, easy chair, and dining table with views across Keswick facing south west for the afternoon and evening sun.

The kitchen may be compact but is well equipped for your holiday. A small hallway gives access to the shower room. The east facing bedroom dressed with luxury linen and towels has beautiful views across the river Greta and Fitz park. The delightful sound of the river running past the building can be heard through the open bedroom window.

This modern apartment makes the perfect base for two, with easy access to explore all Keswick and the surrounding area has to offer. Complimentary WiFi is provided. Access to the flat is via open balconies and stairs.

Great location

Small apartment in a great location. Unfortunately our stay was spoilt by black mould on the bedroom wall with a really strong smell of damp. Pity as it could be so much better with some TLC.

A fantastic Festive Stay!

We stayed over Christmas at Gretaside and the added touches of the Christmas tree and decorations alongside a Christmas card really made us feel welcome! The property was clean and had everything we needed during our stay, the location is perfect for exploring Keswick by foot! The view from the bedroom can’t be beaten! The shower could be upgraded very low water pressure but apart from that the property has been decorated and modernised recently. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Very central position. Added bonus was parking outside property. Flat is quite small but adequate for a short break as a couple with small dog. Only real gripe we were unable to use one wardrobe as vacuum cleaner was stored in wardrobe.

Great location

Great location for a mini break away. Very short walk to town centre for shops, pubs/restaurants etc. amazing proximity to the lake, short drive if you would like to tackle Scafell Pike. Nice size apartment on second floor for two people and a dog

Perfect Base for a Relaxing Week in the Lakes

A fantastic week’s stay again at Gretaside Apartment in Keswick. The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable — it felt like a real home-from-home. The bed was especially comfy after long days walking, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches and a well-stocked kitchen. The location is ideal — just a short walk into the centre of Keswick, but in a quiet and peaceful spot with beautiful views of the surrounding fells. We had no problem with parking, and it was a great base for exploring the Lake District. Communication with the host was excellent — everything was clear and easy from booking to check-in. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a cosy, convenient place to stay in Keswick.

lovely cottage in centre of Keswick

The booking process was easy. The info provided by Keswick Cottages regarding location, parking and key entry was all clear and easy to understand. The Gretaside accommodation was clean and well presented and everything in it was a high standard. The welcome pack and dog treats were a lovely touch. Its a very central property but also nice and quiet, only the sound of the river babbling away in the background. I'd happily book with Keswick Cottages again or recommend to friends.

Gretaside

The apartment was great , small but ideal for 2 and a dog . It was very clean and the welcome packs were much appreciated . The location was superb , central and not far from the beautiful park. The fact it had a parking space was very useful too. We wouid definitely recommend Keswick cottages as a booking agent , the digital guidebook and their customer service was excellent , we would definitely book via them again .

Brilliant experience

We had a short but very enjoyable stay in this excellent accommodation. Keswick was amazing and we also explored Ambleside and took the boat down Windermere to Bowness. On the two brief occasions I spoke to staff they were professional, proficient and very personable and, need I say it, helpful. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Gretaside, Keswick

Apartment was expected to be compact but photos were cleverly taken to give the impression of more space. However, it was in a clean condition. Bedroom had a narrow wardrobe either side of the bed, the left hand one was half filled with a vacuum cleaner! No room really to swing a cat. Kitchen was new and cleverly laid out to make the most of the limited space. Lounge had a round dining table which was taking up space and blocked access to the limited electric sockets. Bathroom was fine but the water pressure a bit low from the electric shower. Walls were thin and noise and voices can be heard from neighbouring apartments. Main issue experienced was some type of humming extractor type noise coming from ceiling area above kitchen and bathroom. This was reported to Keswick Cottages on our second day as the noise was severely disrupting sleep.

Short Break

Gretaside was a new to me accommodation as I usually stay in regular self catering apartments. As an ex self catering owner always have a critical eye, needn’t have worried. An absolutely lovely comfortable apartment with everything you need. Clean and modern and an absolutely lovely view of the river and fells beyond from the bedroom, really comfortable bed. Great location with parking two mins walk into town centre.

4 day stay in Keswick mid September

We had a fabulous few days at Gretaside the weather was hot and sunny the whole stay. The apartment was comfortable, quiet and well equipped, a stones throw from the centre of Keswick and the location near to the park was a bonus for us as we have a dog. A small cosy apartment suitable for a couple and dog. We would be happy to stay here again.

Few days away in Keswick

The dog and I had a very pleasant stay in the flat that is on the top floor. This overlooks the river and Fitz park, great for walking the dog first thing and last thing at night. It was lovely and peaceful and very handy for the town and Derwent Water. The shower is not very powerful but otherwise but otherwise everything else is very comfortable.

This is a very comfortable apartment situated in a great location, very convenient for the town centre yet tucked away in a quiet corner overlooking the river. It's quite small but fine for a couple. Got a good night's sleep as it was so quiet and peaceful. Nice to be able to go out and walk along by the river.

Great Location and View

Small but very nice 1 bedroom apartment. Bedroom is a bit cramped for two, but overflow can go in the living room! Bed is quite firm, but good. Kitchen is well appointed and functional. When turning on shower use a firm pull on the switch cord.

Our short break in Keswick

The apartment was excellent. Very clean and comfortable and the location for the town was great as just a few minutes walk. Also, we have a dog and the location of Fitz Park (behind the apartment) was great and again only a few minutes walk. I would highly recommend this for a couple.

2nd time of staying here, a small but comfortable flat, dog friendly and a parking space for the car. The view out of the bedroom window over the river and Fitz park is fantastic. Ideal for 2 people who do not need a lot of room and fairly fit as it is on the top floor. It is clean and well equipped. Very close to the town Center and amenities. We love it and hopefully will stay again sometime soon.
