Casa en granja orgánica con piscina privada y vistas impresionantes al río Duero.

La casa está ubicada en una propiedad de 3 hectáreas en una ladera sobre el río Duero. Es una granja orgánica con viñedos, árboles frutales, patio con verduras y hierbas y varias zonas ajardinadas. También tiene una zona boscosa con vistas al río Duero.

La casa de campo, completamente vallada, es para uso exclusivo de los inquilinos durante el período de vacaciones.

Nuestros huéspedes pueden cosechar vegetales orgánicos, hierbas y frutas de granja. En Quinta da Vinha Nova producimos vino verde Portinha.

La casa fue construida por el cineasta Manoel de Oliveira. Fue restaurada por los actuales propietarios, Guilhermina y Joaquim, y aumentada con un componente de arquitectura moderna.

Cuenta con 3 dormitorios, dos baños, amplio salón con comedor y sala de estar con chimenea, cocina y dos terrazas con impresionantes vistas al río Duero. Dispone de calefacción central. Cuenta con barbacoa y varias zonas para comer al aire libre. Tiene lavadero en un anexo a la casa con baño.

Cuenta con una piscina privada y sala de juegos con billar, dados, dardos y varios juegos de mesa. Tiene Ping Ping en el extranjero.

La casa está a 1 hora y 20 minutos en tren o en coche de Oporto y a 30 minutos en coche o en tren de la zona del Duero Vinhateiro, Patrimonio de la Humanidad, donde se produce el vino de Oporto. En la ciudad de Régua, a 30 minutos, se puede ir en bote por el Duero.

También está a 1 hora de la ciudad de Guimarães, también Patrimonio de la Humanidad, una ciudad histórica donde nació Portugal. A 45 minutos también se encuentra la hermosa ciudad de Amarante y la ciudad de Lamego.

The house was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view on a beautiful property. The pool looked great but the weather was a little too cool most of the time we were there. We enjoyed picking peas, strawberries, cherries, lemons, oranges and eggs. The hosts met us when we arrived and were very helpful with a house tour and recommendations for restaurants and other attractions in the area. They also left us with a bottle of wine and a loaf of bread. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Quinta da Portinha.

Magical!Wonderful location. The surroundings of the house are lovely with so many nice corners to enjoy. The house is fully equipped - everything you need for cooking or anything else - you will find it. Above all great support from Guihermina and her staff. We had a lovely stay.

Amazing stay

We had a fantastic stay at the property. The check-in was easy and our kids loved swimming in the pool. The adults would often find themselves sitting on the deck watching the evolution of the day with the changing colours of the valley and then the twinkling of lights.

Great Stay

Spacious property with the most amazing views over the Douro Valley. We enjoyed a relaxing week here after spending a few days in Porto. The villa has everything needed for a self catering holiday including a well kitted out games room & infinity pool.

Great escape!

This property was such a perfect relaxing escape for us. The grounds were beautiful with grapevines, vegetables, fruits, and stunning flowers we were able to enjoy this spring. Guillermina and her family made sure we had everything we needed and answered our questions quickly . She gave us great recommendations for shops and and restaurants. The views were breathtaking, their wine delicious and the pool was gorgeous. We feel so lucky to have spent April at Quinta da Portinha

Couldn't be better!

The highlight of our trip! Even though we were a little early in the season, the coziness of the property, the surrounding area, the amenities, and the views were all top-notch. Such a wonderful place for kids and adults alike. Highly recommend.

Fantastic property with beautiful view of the river and valley. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend this property. Our host welcomed us with a bottle of wine from their vineyard, oranges from the tree outside the back door and loaf of local bread.

Amazing rental, all around

If you are staying in the area, you must stay here. The family is so lovely, they met us to check in and to check out, to make sure we knew everything we needed about the property. Not only can you pick all the vegetables and fruits on the property, but you can fetch fresh eggs every day from the chicken coop. It was so fun for my city-kid 5 year old twin boys. The pool was great, as was the game room, my boys didn't ask about a screen once. It's in a great location to explore Douro Valley as well. This is a must-stay if you'll be in Douro Valley, I wish we would have spent more of our trip here.

Extraordinary property in a most beautiful setting

This gorgeous home on a working vineyard met all of our expectations. The view over the stunning vineyards down to the Douro Valley is magical. The home is large and comfortable and has all you need for a relaxing stay. The host was lovely and responsive. We will return for a longer stay!

Can’t beat the view!

Second time staying at this property. Owners are very accommodating. Everything we needed was on hand including picking oranges from the tree for fresh squeezed juice every day. Be sure to check out the notebooks for what to do and where to eat!

Amazing place!!

Can’t say enough about our peaceful experience at this home. It is incredibly well stocked—including wonderful veggies from the organic garden. The views are magnificent. Pool is great. I have never stayed anywhere that I enjoyed as much. Also had a bottle of their homemade wine from the organic vineyard on the property. It was also wonderful.

Amazing view and property. Friendly Hosts.

My wife and I stayed here with another couple for several days during a trip through Portugal. The view from the property is world class. The house itself is a timeless treat with plenty of things to explore and enjoy. We found ourselves not wanting to leave the property, and we took advantage of the garden and wine produced in the vineyard to make meals at the house instead of going out to eat (there is a nearby grocery store). On top of this, our hosts were friendly and accommodating and made it smooth and easy to stay.

Special Organic Farm

What a fantastic location and property in the Douro Valley. The views across the river are amazing. This is a fully functioning organic farm. We collected fresh eggs, berries and other fruit, potatoes, onions, etc. The host has done an amazing job remodeling an original rock house with a completely modernized interior. We highly recommend this property.

Rarely are there places you would absolutely return to - this is one of them.

The view you see in the photo hardly does justice to just how lovely this house is. Not only is the house immaculate, comfortable and beautiful, but the views from the many decks are spectacular. And the pool - The perfect ending to a day of travels!!! Also must mention the gardens with oranges, vegetables, lavender and much more and the three places to picnic outside. We were tempted to just stay at the house for our days in the Duoro Valley!!!!

Quinta da Vinha Nova

Stunning position and lovely to sample some of the garden produce and eggs, and the wine of course. The local railway was useful to visit up and down the Douro Valley as a break from driving along the steep and winding roads. Our flight to Porto arrived quite late. I would recommend stopping at a supermarket on the way for provisions.
