Located in the centre of the delightful conservation village of Falkland next to the historic Falkland Place, Key House is just perfect for friends and families to spend time together. Dating back to 1713, Key House has been refurbished sensitively as befits its category B listed status. Originally called the Palace Inn, the marriage lintel above the front door bears the initials TM and KK - possibly those of the builder and his wife. It is also possible that the cottage was built from the stone from the palace and both the living room and kitchen/diner feature beamed ceilings made from wood from the ancient Forest of Falkland. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing break or an action-packed holiday Key House is the perfect location - comfortably furnished with plenty of room for up to 6 people.
