This is a great property. Well kept and stocked, and pictures are accurate. It worked well for our two families. The host was proactive and responsive. Our kids loved the pool (with a small basketball goal) and hot tub, as well as fishing off the dock. The only thing to note is the one bedroom does not connect to the rest of the house. You have to enter through the patio. It worked for our older kids, but is something to be aware of.

Very nice place with lots to do. Owner did come by during stay to get his boat, and had a mechanic come and work on the boat on the dock for a few hours. We are private people, which was different when renting a private place.

We’re naturally a bit disappointed to receive a four-star review in this case, as we strive to provide a five-star experience for all our guests. Before your arrival, we did communicate that a boat mechanic would briefly be on site during your stay, and that I might stop by briefly to move the boat. We always try to give advance notice and work around our guests’ schedules whenever possible. The mechanic was present for about two hours one afternoon, and I personally was there for less than 10 minutes to relocate the boat. As the homeowner, I do occasionally need to perform routine maintenance on the vessel docked at the property, and we do our best to be as unobtrusive and respectful of privacy as possible. Had we known this would affect your comfort, we would have made alternative arrangements. We’re pleased that you enjoyed your visit overall, and we hope you'll consider staying with us again in the future.

Excellent stay

We had a fantastic stay. The house was very equipped with everything we needed and more. Everything went very smoothly and the owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We brought our toddler and there was all the equipment we needed for him in the house and the pool fence was very secure and put our minds at ease with regards to his safety.

Trip to go gulf stream fishing and visit beaches

As soon as we arrived and opened the door the house smelled so fresh and clean! We really appreciated how nice and clean everything was. Anything you could ever need was there and if we couldn’t find it, Michael was only a text away. Everything was just like the pictures. We loved the outdoor area! The only wish that it was closer to the beaches, but that was my fault when booking.

Honey “home away from home” moon!

My husband and I wanted to find a place to get away and turn off, and found this property. It was absolutely perfect! The neighborhood was so quiet and nestled away in Apollo beach, but easily accessible to groceries and night life in Tampa. The pool, perfect to unwind and get that good quality Florida sunshine. The house itself was so clean and comfortable, we really were able to make it our home away from home for the week. It had everything in the kitchen which was a lifesaver, and the fun activities it offered were top tier (paddle boards/kayaks, pool table, giant outdoor games). If we planned a trip to Florida, 10/10 we’d be booking this property again!!

Great vacation

We had a great vacation. The owners had great communication and really cared that we had a good time. They provided everything we needed and more. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!!

Perfect Florida getaway, located on a saltwater canal. Manatees and Dolphins can be spotted right off the boat dock. This house has the relaxing feel one is looking for when on vacation. Almost everything is new. This is a great place to soak up the Florida sun and unwind from the daily stress. This home has 10-foot ceilings in the main area it provides a spacious feel. You won't feel "cramped" while on vacation. It has a large patio with loungers. The sun shines on the pool until 4:30 pm in the winter months. It is a perfect getaway.

No Charge for the heated pool. The Palm Tree has bicycles, and kayaks available free of charge to you. The golf course is within walking distance of the house. The Palm Tree is a waterfront property.
