Este es un hermoso bungalow con fantásticas vistas al océano, perfecto para una escapada romántica o para un viajero que quiera relajarse y descansar en la playa. Fue diseñado para aprovechar al máximo su ubicación en las colinas de Ostional Wildlife Beach Reserve, a 10 minutos a pie de la playa.

Vistas panorámicas del océano con puestas de sol, y por la noche es maravilloso observar las estrellas.

Disfruta de un espacio para contemplar la naturaleza con comodidad. Experimente una de las maravillas de la naturaleza, las sorprendentes arribadas de las tortugas Olive Ridley a Ostional Beach; ubicado a solo 7 minutos a pie desde el Bungalow. Disfruta de paseos a caballo, caminata a la catarata de Nosara, kayaking en la boca del rio, y encuentra surfing para todos los niveles de experiencia. Descubre la pesca deportiva y snorkelling en la encantadora playa de San Juanillo.

Durante el día puedes ver muchas aves y monos buscando comida en la propiedad. Aquí puede experimentar el lujo del silencio, que le permite escuchar el océano, los pájaros y la brisa.

El bungalow tiene cama king size, una cocina totalmente equipada, un baño moderno y una piscina privada. Puedes disfrutar de un delivery de desayuno tipico y de un masaje en la terraza con sunsets magnificos.

Excellent for couples

Super private villa in the jungle. Loved the privacy and access to nature and peace. Highly recommend but not for more than 2 people. Kichten is great to make your own food. Could not have asked for more my honeymoon!

Anniversary Stay

The accommodations were a fantastic way to spend 3 nights Note-You mite want to change the photos of your gate as they didn’t match the check in photo causing us to drive by the first driveway a few times.-Having the proper code for the first gate -The upper gate hade note locking/code we just pushed the gate open. those are just a few things i would nicely suggest a fix Over all the place was GREAT

We loved our stay here. So relaxing with wonderful views and quiet, comfortable space. The beach is an 8-minute walk down and after climbing the hill back up, we jumped in the pool to cool off. The space is really unique. It feels remote and secure. We saw a howler monkey in the trees and sea turtles on the beach. The bed is comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking basic meals. Hot water throughout. AC unit worked great. The roads to get to this part of the coast can be rough. I was glad we rented a 4x4 truck, though you can probably manage with a regular vehicle. There's a big hill to climb to access the bungalow, but there's lower parking that doesn't require 4x4, but then you need to carry your luggage up the hill. Either way, it's worth the effort to stay here.

Killer view and sounds of relaxing waves equal stress decompression

Great panoramic ocean view that is close enough to hear the waves, even with the windows closed. Morning coffee on patio and plunge pool for when you get hot. Well equipped kitchen for gastronomic creations. Private and well maintained. I'd recommend a 4wd for the surrounding area. Wish I'd stayed a day or two longer!

Amazing views! Great unit for one or two people

You may never find a better ocean sunset view on the planet! The unit is very new with glass on three sides. We were visited by howler monkeys a couple of times. The plunge pool was great is it gets very warm in the afternoons. The kitchen is well equipped. AC worked great! Very modern living and Ostional is a very small village with one restaurant that is very good, serving local dishes, pizza, pasta and more. There are a couple of Sodas in town to get lighter meals. Nosara will offer many many more dining choices. There are a couple of local stores for basics and a larger grocery store in Nosara. A car with higher ground clearance is highly recommended in Costa Rica as many roads are still dirt and you may a number of water crossings. 4WD is not a necessity during the dry season. We enjoyed this area or Costa Rica and if we get back we would stay here again and again.

Breathtaking views in cute bungalow

Would have received 5 stars except the check in process. We arrived in town using the provided pin drop and address with gate codes. Nothing matched. We asked locals for directions and were told no such address. Drove up and down the Hwy for 3.5 hours until after dark. Called, text, and emailed the host with no response. Contacted VRBO and they tried contacting host. Finally made reservations at a hotel in neighboring town and started driving when host finally responded. The pin drop was wrong. The gate code was wrong and the pictures of the 2 gates were mixed up. We had to eat the $200+ hotel fee but got in to the house at 9:00pm. Once we were in, the house, the property and views were spectacular. We loved it. The people in Playa Ostional were kind and welcoming. We went back for dinner to thank the waiter and owner of the bar who tried to help us with the location - even offering a bedroom at their house for the night!

Very sorry the codes did not match, due to security the codes change and I was travelling that date. I was not aware that you had lost that $200 on a separate reservation, as you did not mention that however I will contact you for refund of that . Thank you for your comments

I like that it was very private and it has an incredible view. I didn’t like the difficulty in finding the property. It was very difficult to find, especially at night.

We stayed at this property for 7 days and really enjoyed it. Pluses: - Location: Property location is perfect for us. We were within short driving distance from several beautiful beaches (San Juanillo, Pelada, Marbella, Guiones, etc.) - View: simply amazing view of Ostional. - Turtles!!: Despite not being in the "high-season" of the "Arribada", we were able to do a tour and see a turtle!! - Amenities: property has all the amenities we were looking for. Minuses: - bedding sheets were not clean when we arrived. We had to wash them upon our arrival. - Checking in instructions: I wished internet instructions were included . We had to reach to the property manager for assistance. Final thoughts : - The town is not for "partying". If you are looking to have a night life, this is not the place for you (unless you drive to Nosara). It is a typical old Guanacaste town, which we loved - You definitely need a 4x4 to get to the property and around town. Either route you take to get to the property, you will encounter anywhere between 10-30 km of unpaved roads. You might even have to cross a river or two!!. Part of the charm :). Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay.

100% Great stay and amazing view!

The home was beautiful and had the most amazing ocean view. Every night my wife and I would sit on the deck or from inside the beautiful panoramic windows and watch the sun set or just listen to the waves crashing. The owner was a pleasure to communicate with and has been very gracious with any requests we had. Must do: Get the Costa Rican breakfast brought to you at least one morning. My wife and I regret now that we are home we had only gotten it once. 100% will return

Just as advertised. Perfect house in perfect location for a get away. It is not easy to get to, but worth the drive. Our original reservation was for March 2020, rebooked for September 2020 and finally got there in January 2021 and the owner was very accommodating .

Relaxing and Serene with a fantastic hill top view of the ocean

The house is perfect a single person or a couple to unplug and get away from city life for a few days. Everything you will need is provided. A few words of advice. Get good directions and descriptions of where the house if located, definitely try to arrive before sunset! The roads are VERY rough gravel in that area so plan on slow and semi-treacherous driving. I had a 2WD suv and would plan for a 4WD if I could return. Coffee maker is a french press, easy to use once you get the hang of it. Sunsets in the plunge pool are a must do! Ostinal appears to offer limited dining options but I will mention there is a great hill top pub between Nosara and Ostinal, called Kayrea's Black Sheep Pub. Good local beer, excellent vegetarian options and a stunning location. Carrie Rae the proprietor was wonderful even opened her restaurant for us special as everything was closed due to Corvid shut downs. Host for the home was a great and prompt communicator and understanding as we had to cut our trip short by day because of flight requirements again for Corvid virus. Not sure if she will provide a refund for that night though. I would return in hear beat!

What a view!!!

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful home for 8 days. The sunsets, the view, the privacy and the weather were amazing and exactly what we needed. We would definitely come back to enjoy this slice of paradise again.

Wunderschön offen gestalteter Bungalow mit Pool, Phantastischer Rund-um-Blick zum Meer mit täglichen Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang am Meereshorizont, tolles Bett, viel Schrankstauraum, bis auf einen Toaster alle Küchenutensilien und Terrassenmöbel, kurzer Anfahrtweg von der Küstenstraße, absolute Ruhe (mit Ausnahme der Brüllaffen am Morgen), fast menschenleerer Strand. Für die Abgeschiedenheit sehr gutes Wifi. Leider z.Teil sehr grobschotterige Küstenstraße, weiter Weg zum einem größeren Supermarkt, d.h. vor Anfahrt einkaufen!

Beautiful property. Spectacular views.

A peaceful setting in a gated community. There was a safe in the bungalow. The air conditioning unit was quiet so we could hear the waves, howler monkeys, and birds. The bed was comfortable as well as all the furniture. An excellent setting to relax.

We built this property in 2017 and tried to be the least disruptive to the environment and the Ridley turtles that land on the beach, while at the same time maximizing the view and comfort.

We are local and just always loved this location for its turtles, howler monkeys, pro surf waves and zen like atmosphere while also providing near by convenience to other areas like Guiones and Nosara 20 mins away.
