Casa en las nubes - 'Casa las Nubes' privada Casa Disponible

Situado en la parte sur de la provincia de Guanacaste, a pocos minutos de la localidad de Caimital y en el camino hacia el pueblo costero de Samara, nuestra casa tiene una vista impresionante del valle. Ubicado en 5 y 1/2 acres de propiedad privada, es posible disfrutar de la belleza y la tranquilidad de la naturaleza, y tienen la conveniencia de atracciones cercanas y surf de clase mundial. Esta magnífica ubicación permite a la privacidad completa en un entorno tropical rodeado de belleza natural.

La casa principal tiene una gran piscina con una profundidad de 3 pies a 7 pies. sillones con almohadones junto a la piscina se proporcionan para su comodidad, y hay una repisa poco profunda que yace bajo una pulgada de agua diseñado para que pueda disfrutar del sol y siendo fresco.

La casa de huéspedes, que se ofrece en alquiler, es una residencia separada con entrada independiente que consta de una cocina central y sala de estar flanqueado por dos habitaciones modernas confortables. Cada habitación tiene colchones Queen, aire acondicionado, ventiladores de techo, una terraza privada y moderno cuarto de baño con duchas al aire libre.

El alquiler de la casa de huéspedes sólo se realiza cuando no estamos en casa, y sólo a una de las partes a la vez, por lo que tendrá completa privacidad y acceso exclusivo a todos los motivos.

This property is amazing! Stunning views, comfortable lodging with every amenity, and a fabulous pool. We spent days lounging by the pool enjoying the gorgeous sunsets and being surprised with visits from various types wildlife. If that wasn't enough the hosts are fantastic. They are warm and inviting and very willing to share their Costa Rica stories.

Swimming in heaven

Our first time in CR and we spent a month in seven different amazing places. There is nothing to compare to Casa Nubes. The house is right out of Architectural Digest and thanks to the amazing Danny the grounds are like living in a botanical garden. I’m a swimmer and the pool is what I hope heaven will be like if that exists. The sunset view at the pool over the Costa Rican landscape is something we’ll carry forever in our hearts. The smell of flowers is mesmerizing. Showering outdoors is such a delight. But the topping on the cake was getting to swap stories with our hosts Darius and Miguel. As Midwest transplants they have embraced Pura Vida like no one I know and their love of this land is infectious. We loved Costa Rica but they made us fall IN LOVE with Costa Rica.If your happy trails every lead you to Costa Rica, don't miss this.

The property was perfectly laid out with spaces for dining and drinking both indoors and out, enjoying the sun and pool and viewing the majestic mountains of Costa Rica! Daryl and Michael were such perfect hosts who were very attentive to our needs but also respectful of our privacy.

Heaven On Earth

While I obviously have no idea what heaven is like, I'd imagine it has to be something like "Home In The Clouds". I've been around the globe and this was the most relaxing, awe-inspiring vacation I've ever experienced. The hosts make you feel like so very appreciated and valued. The facility is modern, classy and comfortable. The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful. I truly did not want to return home. Loved everything about this booking. Can't wait to visit again!

Paridise in the Ski

What an enchanting home this is. We couldn't have been more fortunate to happened upon Casa Las Nubes. We stayed for 9 days and would have loved to stay longer. Perfect location for taking in the beauty of Costa Rica, but near many different resturant and tourist type attractions. Pictures don't come close to showing of the true beauty of this spot on Earth.

Nothing short of spectacular

I would recommend this to any group of 2-5 looking for a serene, nature immersed, and FUN trip. The hosts and groundskeepers are awesome, accommodating, and thoughtful. We didn’t have to lift a finger, the area had so much to enjoy that we were very happy to relax and enjoy the space, and sad to leave it.

Anniversary/Vacation

My husband and I recently traveled to Costa Rica to celebrate our anniversary. Casa Las Nubes was absolutely wonderful! The lush green vegetation and flowers were beautiful. Butterflies everywhere and the views were simply breathtaking. The guest house was very clean, modern, well decorated, and stocked with items to help accommodate our needs. The hosts and staff were warm and friendly and made us feel welcome the entire time. This was indeed one of the best vacations we have taken. We look forward to returning!

Have You Ever Been to Heaven? I Have…

I pride myself on finding gems on the lodging front and this was first time I was shocked at how much better the property was than the images portrayed. The near 360 degree view of a mountain range, thousands of butterflies playing, being able to drink my morning beverage in a couch swing soft enough for an afternoon nap and listening to the sounds of parrots and realizing that I was so high that the clouds were literally beneath me all made this place feel like a dream. Though the location is amazing, the guest house is like walking into a Marvel movie. The high ceiling, state of the art kitchen, living room with huge windows that allow a 180 degree view of the beautiful landscape, the multiple ac units throughout that took moments to cool the place after I traversed through the Costa Rican humidity, the perfect beds, TV, toilet rooms with handheld bidets, and finally the outdoor showers. You will never feel more sexy or alive than when you are tucked away, bathing with paradise as your backdrop. 😮‍💨 Practically, this place has all of the western accoutrement that you could think of - the L-shaped pool of your dreams, laundry room, a library / study, and pool room that is more like a temple than its name would lead you to believe. Last but not least, Miguel and Daryl were exceptional hosts that know the city, made recommendations on activities, food, etc. and had time to cook for me in their personal (incredible) kitchen. If you found this place, don’t tell anyone!!!

Simply wonderful

We selected Casa Las Nubes because it is removed from the non stop action in the beach area, but easily accessible to the beach. We were taken aback by the beauty of the property and the exquisite decor the hosts used while furnishing the property. We took full advantage of the salt water L shaped infinity pools and the many highly comfortable outdoor seating areas. We dined Al fresco most nights and there is an outdoor kitchen!! The property sits on 5 acres and the hosts provide boots and tube socks for hikes!! We saw families of howler monkeys, toucans, parakeets and enjoyed the 2 charming dogs who frequented the hosts for treats. If you seek rest in a luxurious setting with access to activity with a half hours drive, Casa Las Nubes is your destination.

Secluded retreat

Casa las Nubes was an amazing place to unwind. The property is well maintained, and the owners & Danny were always so helpful. The views from the pool were incredible and provided relief from the unseasonably hot weather. The guest house was very clean & well layed out for 2 couples. We appreciated the few groceries in our frig on our arrival, a very thoughtful gesture & our first night dinner. Delicious!! The location is on a well maintained road and Samara or Carrillo Beaches were 30 minutes away. Explored a couple of waterfalls a short distance from the house and other day trips in the Nicoya Peninsula area. There is an open-air tico restaurant between the house & Samara- with delicious food. & the Bernina Artisan Restaurant- a small 4 table dining in Curime was wonderful. The food was outstanding!!! Our only hiccup were the ants who wanted to share our room one evening. We had a fantastic stay... Darryl & Michael your property& vision amazing, and caretaker Danny is a true gem. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Pura Vida!

Luxury Blue Zone Zen Retreat in clouds -30 min from beach!

If you want a luxurious blue zone retreat in nature, drive to the top of the hill for a beautiful compound that includes a guest house, infinity pool, media room, exercise room and more areas to enjoy. Balconies off your private bedroom, a lanai off the pool, ceiling to floor windows in main LR, there are many places to retreat and relax. There is also a full size kitchen in the guest house. Your hosts are responsive and available for any concerns or questions. Come experience local Nicoya in a fabulous setting. It is pura vida. Now we know how they live to 100!!!

I am a seasoned global traveler. I place this entire experience in my top 5! The property is beautiful. The guest house is perfect! The pool is INSANE. The views are magnificent. If you have any walking issues; bring your cane or walking sticks. There are stairs to navigate.

A Beautiful Haven in Costa Rica

From our arrival, we were awed by the beauty of this property. The design of the house and the landscaping was so fabulous …we thought we were on a Hollywood set!!! Entering the portico, you see the design influence of Frank Lloyd Wright…and then the view takes your breath away. Before us was a magnificent mountain valley under the bluest sky with majestic clouds so perfect that it looked like a photoshopped picture! Then we saw the pool reminiscent of the south of France! Blue and floating above this green mountain valley…

Dissatisfied. Not as advertised.

We have stayed at many VRBO’s and this was our first disappointing experience. The pictures are not accurate. They show the property when it was new. It is now old and crumbling and in need of significant repair. The pool was nice but the pool furniture was not as shown. The good stuff was locked up. There is a pool light still wired up hanging in the pool. The concrete stairs are crumbling and look terrible. The outdoor kitchen shown has been converted to a nursery and not available. The rooms were ok but the kitchen is very limited and there are only TV’s in the bedroom. Nothing in the main area. There is a stick on shade film applied to the windows that is falling off and makes it really dark in the guesthouse. It’s cramped and uninviting. All other buildings are locked up. There is a hot tub but it’s not in use and has algae that you walk by constantly. We left after one night and got another place in Samara. Really enjoyed the rest of our trip.

Tranquil and relaxing

The pictures honestly did not do this place justice. The views were amazing, the pool was great, and we really enjoyed the outdoor showers. Danny, the properties caretaker, was very nice and always helpful. Just a short drive to several restaurants and the beach. And for those exercise enthusiast, it was a great place for morning workouts. I really enjoyed running the hill leading from the gate to the house. If and when I return to Costa Rica, I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Wonderful experience

This was our best trip yet! Loved it and we will definitely be back. There was a lot of thought put into building this property, Daryl and Michael you should be proud!The owners were very organized and accommodating, Daryl sent instructions on how to get there, different local and distance attractions , restaurant and grocery stores. We took advantage of the list and were not disappointed. Danny the groundskeeper met us at the gate when we first arrived and showed us around the property, helping us get settled. My family took a liking to Danny immediately as he was very kind and we loved his dog Zac. While his English is limited and so is our Spanish , it was never a problem. We dowloaded a translator app and Danny had one on his phone as well. My husband worked on his Spanish all week and I think Danny appreciated his efforts to communicate with him. Danny takes good care of the property, he’s never in the way and always checked in daily to make sure we were comfortable. The best part was definitely the view, I can’t say enough about it. We saw many different birds, butterflies, cows, monkeys and lizards. I couldn’t take my eyes off the view , it’s truly paradise , Just WOW! It felt like home and we already miss Casa Las Nubes. Thank you for allowing us this wonderland experience and hope to be there again soon.

Beautiful property with gorgeous views

Beautiful property to stay at with gorgeous views of the surrounding hills. Away from any bit of tourist areas. Plenty of places to explore around, from coastal towns and beaches starting 25 min away, to wildlife preserves (Monte Alto is close and worth a visit), national parks, coffee plantations. But you’ll be sure to spend time relaxing in the pool with those views!

Everyone that visits our home is amazed by the beauty of this setting. Truly, every direction you look provides a breathtaking views, the sounds of nature fill the air and the fragrance of flowers is everywhere. This location provides complete privacy and tranquility and yet is located within 15 minutes of a popular beach resort, waterfalls, horseback riding and all the adventures one can experience in tropical rainforest.
One of our guests was very kind to share the amazing photos of their visit with us, and many of these photos have been used on this listing.
