3 Bedroom House - stunning island views and beach
A newly renovated croft house with charming cottage style. It has a large family and dog friendly kitchen dinner and a snug sitting room with TV and wood burner. There are two king size bedrooms which share a shower room upstairs and a single bedroom with bathroom downstairs.
There is a utility room with shower for getting showered after being on the beach - only a 5minute walk.
The space
BEDS - We provide hotel quality Egyptian cotton bedding and towels for guests. The house price includes bedding for 5 people (1 King, 1 Double and 1 single bed). No more than 5 guests in total are allowed.
CHILDREN - This property is not suitable for young children. There is no stair gate or guard for the woodburners.....plus stone floor in kitchen and light coloured carpets throughout. Please contact us if you do not believe this is an issue for your group.
FOOD & DRINK - We provide tea and coffee making materials including fresh milk and sugar. We do not provide breakfast however we send you the contact details for all the shops and restaurants in the area as soon as your booking is confirmed.
WOOD - We provide wood, matches and firelighters and even lay the fire in the woodburner...all you have to do it light it and keep it going!!
FACILITIES - There is a dishwasher and washing / drying machine. There is a TV and lots of books and games.
WIFI & MOBILES
Unlimited broadband WiFi is available in the property.
Mobile reception is patchy (depending on your network provider) but wifi calling is possible.
ACCESSIBILITY
The property has no steps to ground floor via the rear entrance and has a single bedroom downstairs. Please ask for more information if you have reduced mobility.
PETS
The property is pet friendly for a single well behaved dog - we even provide a treat tin for them! There is a securely fenced yard but please let us know if you are bringing a dog so we can do additional cleaning for the next guests. Dog mess bags are also available so please clean up after your dog in the garden area. Please do not let animals on any of the furniture or upstairs. We do not charge an additional cleaning fee for pets however we will charge if additional cleaning is required after your stay...
Guest access
There is a fenced around the property and back yard with access to the bench via a public footpath near by.
Vehicles can be parked just outside the gate - so unpacking is easy!
Other things to note
A single well behaved dog is very welcome - we even provide a treat tin for them!
Dog mess bags are also available so please clean up after your dog in the yard area. Please do not let animals on any of the furniture. We do not charge an additional cleaning fee for pets however we will charge if additional cleaning is required after your stay.
The Scottish weather can make the yard, parking muddy so no dirty / muddy feet or paws beyond the porch please.
This is a working croft / smallholding so we ask guests to be mindful of any livestock on the property (i.e. shutting gates and keeping dogs on leads) but also understanding that livestock can be messy and smelly! We need access to the yard at the side of the house with trailers and also for our static caravan where we get linens ready for all the properties we look after, so we ask you not to park blocking this entrance.
We sometimes sell eggs from a box opposite the house.
