Esta casa de 900 pies cuadrados cuenta con 200 'de frente al lago en el hermoso lago Skaneateles. Esta casa de 2 dormitorios y 1 baño ha sido recientemente remodelada y actualizada. El plan de piso de concepto abierto, con cocina comedor y sala de estar, es perfecto para una escapada de fin de semana en un tour de vino o unas vacaciones familiares de una semana. Las impresionantes vistas desde la terraza son ideales para relajarse mientras disfruta de su café de la mañana, o relajarse con una copa de vino viendo el atardecer. El dormitorio 1 está amueblado con una cama King, mientras que el segundo dormitorio incluye una cama matrimonial / litera doble y una cama para niño. El baño (completamente eviscerado y remodelado en 2016) tiene una bañera / ducha.

Great Lake house

We had a wonderful long weekend on Lake Skaneateles. The house is in great shape, the owner kept in close contact and was very responsive, and the lake is beautiful. We took advantage of the fire pit under starry skies every night. We will definitely stay here again if we make it to the Finger Lake region in the future.

Little Slice of Heaven

The lake house is amazing! The view, the hot tub, the fire pit, the deck… the perfect setting for a totally chill vaca (which is what we were going for). Close to downtown Skaneateles where you’ll find the cutest town with fun stores and great food. Lots of great hiking and places to explore like Beak & Skiff, Elderberry Pond, Crazy Daisy’s and Watkins Glen. Allison and Andy are great hosts and made sure everything was perfect. We will def be return guests. Much more to eat and explore !

I absolutely loved this house. It was breathtaking to drive up to see a sweet house surrounded by woods with the lake in the background. What was even more breathtaking was to actually walk into the house and see the lake in all its glory theough the wall of windows. I never tired of the view and the peacefulness and had I been able to swing it with flights etc I would’ve eagerly extended the stay. The house has everything you need, the kitchen is well stocked, there’s a washer and a dryer and a very good choice of kayaks, paddleboards, oars, life jackets, etc. The bed was very comfortable and the second bedroom looked really cute. I honestly cannot express to you what a sense of peace this property gave me. Skaneateles is a gorgeous 15 minute drive away, Dougs Fish Fry was awesome, went twice. The town is just as beautiful as the first time I happened upon it 7 years ago. Do drive the lovely one hour drive to Ithaca Farmers Market, you won’t regret it I promise! But do it early in your stay so you can take advantage of the all fresh produce, pies, cheese and flowers. I will definitely be bringing my husband to this house within the next year. The only negative I can possibly think of - and this is being SUPER picky - is that I would suggest to update the two leather couches to upholstered couches and possibly move the tv to another wall for easier viewing. But again, this is me being excessively picky! ;) The house and the lake are sublime.

Beautiful lakefront getaway

We visited the hideaway as a short family getaway for our 10 year anniversary (myself, my husband and our toddler). As soon as we drove up we fell in love. The house is quaint and gorgeous. It was spotlessly clean. The views were phenomenal with the sliding glass doors along the whole back of the house. Despite the cool, rainy weather we had a wonderful time. We can’t wait to go back again next year!

End of summer trip

We had a wonderful time staying at the property. Ample outdoor space, great water-front amenities, fire pit, hammock etc. Beautifully remodeled cottage. Great kitchen for cooking. We will be back!

Beautiful lake property!

The cottage was very clean & modern! Alison was extremely helpful & pleasant! The lake views are breathtaking whether you’re in the house, on the back porch, in the hot tub, at the look out deck or on the dock! The extra amenities (hot tub, paddle boards, sunscreen, bug spray, speakers, walkie-talkies, candles, cooler, extra towels, bedside reading lights, plethora of kitchen utensils & dishes, etc) were a huge plus. We felt like we were at home! That’s really hard to do when traveling with an infant! We hope to go back very soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect end to summer

Smartest decision to stay for a week! We used the lake, the hammock, the fire pit, the hot tub and the cozy cottage for one of my favorite weeks. Such a great place to reconnect with busy teens and semi-adult kids! Owner was excellent communicator, place was clean and stunning location/ views. Hope to be back.

Peace + tranquility on Skaneateles!

This house is a gem with gorgeous views of the water and a serene, private, quiet place to relax and enjoy lake living. Alison was a great communicator and helped with all questions I had with quick responses. The home was super clean and the beds were comfortable. I highly recommend renting this space, it's one of the best!

We were so pleased when we arrived to find there was nothing to be done but unload our cars. The house is very well equiped and very cute. Of coarse, there wasn't too much we could do about the weather. The town offers many options. MC

Lovely Property with lots of great amenities

We really enjoyed staying at this property as it is modern and clean with lots of things to do. Our weather was not good, but we were able to enjoy the hot tub overlooking the picturesque lake. Had it been warmer and dryer, we would have enjoyed the waterfront location much more. As it was, we were close to this great historic town with lots of shopping and restaurant choices. Good and inexpensive golf options within 30 minutes drive as well. We would love to return to this property later in the season when we can enjoy the water more.

Beautiful Getaway

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in mid October. Check in/out was super easy, house owner is lovely. The house is updated and beautiful. The entire back is sliding glass doors which lead to a magnificent view of the lake. The house was super clean, and comfortable. We had some colder and rainy weather, but the house setup allowed us to still enjoy the lake! Highly recommend and will definitely return!

Peaceful Paradise

From the moment I made the reservation until the time we locked the door at checkout Alison was great. She made communicating with her a a total breeze and was very responsive whenever we had a question. The cottage is beautiful and very comfortable. It has every modern amenity you could ask for on a vacation. Everything is practically brand new. The views from the property are absolutely stunning, especially since we were there at the peak of the leaves changing. You can take a nice long nap in the hammock, have some drinks around the firepit, or just enjoy your morning coffee and take in the peacefulness of the lake while sitting in your Adirondack chair on the dock. I cannot recommend this place enough and we will definitely be visiting again next year!

Great Stay

Our week at the Hide Away cottage was wonderful. The property is beautiful, the weather was perfect and the owners were kind, responsive, and attentive to any questions or concerns. We would happily stay at Hide Away again for future stays on Skaneateles Lake.

Perfect Skaneateles Lakehouse

Amazing lake house with all the amenities! The property was very easy to get to, and the view of the lake was SUBLIME. We regretted not booking a longer stay at the cabin, two nights weren't enough to appreciate the views.

This Cottage Is In a Wonderful, Peaceful, and Private Location

We were there for a wedding, and this location was perfect. It was very comfortable for three of us. The dock area was very nice with a firepit. Great place to go out on the deck early in the morning with a cup of coffee. There are lots of windows facing the lake and beautiful views from the living room and the king bedroom facing the lake. Even though the neighboring houses are on the same road, the property seemed secluded and private. The pictures of the cottage are very accurate. Very well maintained and clean. A couple of minor issues due to the beginning of the season were resolved immediately. There is no WiFi and very limited TV with no major network channels so take your favorite DVDs along or just enjoy the serenity of the lake. I would definitely recommend this property and would like to return.

Loved the house and the lake - very well equipped for a family, beautiful spot with lots of ways to enjoy. The owner was immediately responsive and took great care of us. Highly recommended and we will come again!

Perfect lake retreat!!

Great views, cozy decor, comfortable beds! Incredible views of the lake. Don't miss this awesome retreat. Great for families with just a few minutes to town great communication from the owners. We will be back!!!
