Lodge 18 templa rise

First impressions was fab, but on unpacking cuboards were not clean , box in bottom sink cupboard is dirty, .microwave needs throwing out ,very rusty inside . All the chopping boards need throwing out, very badly scratched ,very un healthy. curtains were dirty spiderwebbs with dead flies on, cobwebs everywhere. Fridgefreezer needs defrosting. .Glass doors was dirty hand prints all over them. Sweet wrappings on the floor, down the side of single bed plus drit and dust. Mattresses bed cover had tea stains on it , bed was not made tidy. Just needs a deep clean from ceilings, top of cupboards, to the floors,top of tv , radiators . Outside, well hot tub best bit . No sun what so ever on the decking just trees over hanging at all times had to keep brushing the decking and picking leaves out of the water when sat in the hot tub. We had beautiful weather and not a glimpse of the sun at all . Trees that should have been taken down from the front of decking as they are dieseaed trees.

In addition to this, my family owns a holiday lodge in Devon, where I've also taken on the rewarding role of helping fellow lodge owners manage their properties.

Devon holds a special place in my heart, and whenever I have the chance, you'll find me there. I relish spending time in this enchanting region, soaking in the natural beauty, venturing into the local nooks and crannies, and connecting with the ancestral ties that bind me to this land.

My passion and purpose are clear: I want our guests to experience and fall in love with the same captivating beauty and charm of Devon that has captured my heart for generations.

TipTree Haven lodge is located within Finlake Holiday Resort (owned by Haulfryn group) and set on 130 acres of beautiful Devonshire countryside. There are plenty of things to do within the resort itself (e.g., waterpark, gym, spa, tennis, group activities, horse riding, fishing lakes) and locally (nature reserves, animal attractions, vineyards, caves).

Entry to the Dartmoor National Park is only a few miles down the road, while the nearest beaches and seaside towns can be reached by car in less than 25 minutes. Paignton Zoo is 15 miles away, while charming Exeter is only 10 miles down the road. The nearest train station is in Newton Abbot (direct trains from London), 15 minutes drive or a bus ride away from the resort. Exeter International Airport is 13 miles away.

Finlake is the perfect holiday getaway to enjoy a romantic short break or a fun-filled family holiday.
