Lochside with beach access uninterrupted views of spectacular Highland Mountains

Thank you for your review. We are pleased you enjoyed the property and it’s location. We certainly feel it has one of the loveliest positions for our guests to come and relax and enjoy the sea view, whilst they enjoy their Highland break. We are sorry you felt that you weren’t warm during your stay. In the pre-arrival email we send to guests we let them know that in addition to the heating automatically coming on between 7.30am to 10.30am in the morning and again for 6.5 hours (4.00pm to 10.30pm) in the evenings you are able to increase the time as required. We are also contactable immediately by telephone or email and also living just round the corner should any issues arises. The conservatory is south and west facing and on sunny days and can actually be a bit warm, even when switching off the radiators in there. Thank you for letting us know that you feel the property is ideal and has a fantastic location. We would love the Scottish Highland weather to be sunny and blue skies every day but are at its mercy unfortunately and we all endured rainy days last week. One of a set of two keys on your key set gives you access to the garage which houses the washing machine and tumble dryer and we apologies you were unable to find them during your stay. Again do please always ask – we are here to help out. With regards to the dogs not to be left alone in the property, we are passionate about dog welfare and clearly state in the terms and conditions on booking that the dogs are on holiday too - it is unfair for them to be left shut up in a strange property on their own. Several of the local Pubs and Restaurants are all dog friendly, and we and they are happy to give you their contact details on request at any time. I note the comment about the garden wall. At 1m high, it is in keeping within its surrounding to take advantage of the superb views, and this is the first comment we have had where a guest’s dog has breached the stone wall. We thank you again for taking the time to put in your feedback and do apologize once again if you felt you were struggling with any of the facilities. Our feedback is 99% positive, but I guess sometimes we just have to take the rough with the smooth. In our defence we just ask guests to please read our welcome letter in which we ask them to contact us immediately during their stay so that we can help out with anything they are unsure or unhappy about. We can always sort out there and then. It is not so easy afterwards.
