Dalendrien es una sola casa plantas, con capacidad para 6, increíblemente situado en su propia península en la costa del lago Linnhe. una larga entrada de mar que va desde la Isla de Mull tierra adentro a las pistas de Ben Nevis, y se sienta en la tranquila orilla norte del lago junto a la carretera escénica que va de Fort William a la remota península de Ardnamurchan. Que está ubicado en tres hectáreas de terreno con costa y varadero, unas 25 millas de Fort William y 8 millas al norte del Corran Ferry en Ardgour. La casa cuenta con habitaciones amplias engañosamente que tienen magníficas vistas mirando sobre el lago de las montañas de Glen Coe y el propio Ben Nevis. La casa es confortable, con vistas a la montaña y al lago desde las habitaciones. Fantastic location

Very comfortable house in a large garden right on the shore of loch Linnhe! We stayed a week in July and had a wonderful time. We want to come back again!

Comfy house in a beautiful setting

Very comfortable and well equipped house. Beautiful and relaxing environment with a lot of possibilities to walk and interesting activities. Really enjoyed the (evening) visits of the deer and sheep.

Hogmanay - The Fraser Family

We have stayed at this property before and have come back for Hogmanay. We have had an amazing time. It is so peaceful and quiet and the wildlife is stupendous. The cottage is so warm and welcoming especially with the open fire. We love it and will be back.

Family break with grandchildren

Excellent secluded accommodation with a huge garden and beautiful views. Lots of wildlife to be seen from morning to night. This property has everything you need in a kitchen, and there is also a great selection of films, books and toys. Would highly recommend this property.

You couldn't wish for a more perfect holiday home!

Everything about this house was outstanding - especially its spacious and cosy rooms, the fantastic views, its location and seclusion. You are far away from the hussle, yet within easy reach of all sorts of entertainment. We wish we could have stayed longer, and we will definitely be back!

Excellent accommodation

By far the best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in. You felt you were at home. The views are spectacular. Peaceful and quiet. Lovely to see so much wildlife, including the stag that made his nightly appearance. Highly recommend this property. Nicki the owner is wonderful.

Lovely stay at Dalendrian

We had a very lovely stay. The weather was a bit miserable but despite this we had a very comfortable time at the cottage. The view of the loch was wonderful. The wildlife - birds, deer, red squirrel and pine Martin were fabulous to watch. The house was the best stocked holiday cottage I’ve ever stayed in - very well equipped kitchen and great selection of games, books and films.

A wonderful cottage in a wonderful location.

We all had a fantastic week in this wonderful cottage which was just perfect for us all, We could go fishing from the bottom of the garden, while watching Eagles over the mountains behind the cottage, deer, red squirrels and even a pine Martin in the garden, superb views from all of the windows and very easy to book and all the information given to us by Nikki beforehand, she even sent us a brochure pack before our stay with all the local information on, she also kept in contact before and during our stay to make sure all was OK, Thanks again Nikki.

Wonderful Stay Dalendrien

We stayed at Dalendrien to celebrate a 50th birthday, and wow – what an incredible place! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. The champagne and birthday card were such thoughtful touches and set the tone for a truly special stay.The house itself is amazing – beautifully kept with fantastic attention to detail, and those views! Every window offered a stunning panorama, making wildlife watching an absolute joy. We were treated to nightly visits from a pine marten, three majestic stags in the garden, numerous deer, and even a barn owl flying overhead. We also spotted an otter in the loch and were lucky enough to see a white-tailed eagle soaring above it – unforgettable!It was the perfect break in every way. Peaceful, scenic, and full of wildlife – we didn’t want to leave. A huge thank you to Nicki for making our stay so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

Superb Location

Dalendrien is beautifully quiet and serene. We all enjoyed sitting every morning and evening looking at the views and waiting for the Deer to arrive! The property is extremely well equipped, we've only found one other that is as well equipped and that is in Crete! We were extremely lucky with the weather and had some warm sunny days - all in all - perfect

Wow!

We loved everything about this property and wished we could have stayed longer. The views are amazing and it was so peaceful. We had lots of fun having bbq's on the beach and paddling in the loch. We even saw a seal swim past one morning! The house had everything we needed and more and Nikki's communication with us was fantastic.

Superb!!! Marvelous house with an unbelievable insane beautiful view from the great and big windows looking at the loch, sky, mountains and the big garden next to the beach of the loch! Fantastic beds and good equipment in the kitchen, 2 ovens and magnetron & easy cooking on induction. One big bathroom with shower & WC and one shower & WC. Enormous bath towels very comfortable & some small.Comfortable sitting room and a nice conservatory in front of the house. And every day the sheep visited and in evening time the deer!!It’s worth to drive the single track road of approx. 8 miles (from the ferry to the house). Lots to see & discover a couple of walking trails.We were sorry to leave!!

Magical location and beautiful comfortable house

Dalendrien was warm and comfortable. On arrival we found the property to be exceptionally clean. The kitchen had every conceivable gadget. The bathrooms were very modern, towels and linen were very good quality. The conservatory was our favourite seating area with its spectacular views of the loch and mountains.

Excellent property

Well equipped property with fantastic views. We fished on the beach near the old jetty and managed to catch 9 pollock between us. The deer and sheep visited the garden and the peace and quiet was wonderful! The weather was better than we were expecting and we had a great time exploring the wider area. Thank you!

Amazing Property

Nicki provided us with all the information that you required to have a wonderful holiday. The property was homely, clean and had everything you required. It was set in the most amazing location so peaceful. You had Red deer and a red squirrel visiting and we watched an otter in the loch. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Incomparable Rental and Location

The house and setting are gorgeous, any time that we were sitting inside was spent in the sun room taking in the view of the shore and Loch Linnhe. The house was spotless and Nicky has provided everything you require for a comfortable stay, including written instructions, as required; she is an excellent communicator and caring hostess. Unfortunately, we had abysmal weather (pouring rain) during our week which is not good when the majority of the local activities are outdoors.

The perfect getaway

One of, if not the best rented properties we have stayed in. Accurate description, everything you could need and more. Terrific views of the Loch, Ben Nevis etc. Plenty of room for everyone. All needs were catered for. The wildlife did not disappoint. Only the Golden Eagle didn’t show, but hey, that’s wildlife. Terrific holiday. Thanks To all who looked after us.

The most ‘WOW’ property we’ve stayed at!

Wow, what a stunning place! The location and views are unrivalled, the comfort and warmth of the house will have you never wanting to leave! The house has everything you could possibly need and the beds are unbelievably comfortable, the towels big and fluffy, the showers are hot and powerful. The setting is completely private and you will just stare at the loch and mountains all day. I would wake up super early just to see the view again and head down to the loch. Each night we were visited by Deer in the garden right outside the huge windows, the Pine Marten also visited at the same time each day. So much wildlife! It’s a true fairytale property.

Outstanding Property

Dalendrien is an absolutely fabulous place. The views from the property are stunning and totally relaxing just to sit and look at the Loch or Ben Nevis. We saw plenty of wildlife including lots of Finches on the bird feeders, we also saw Red Squirrel, Porpoises and seals in the Loch but the highlight was a Royal Stag that run through the garden (thanks Nicki on the info on how to tell what stag is what) I can't rate this property highly enough, I would give 10 stars if I could. Nicki is a first class host and was quick to answer any questions. We will definitely be back.

Peaceful, relaxing, great location & Nevis view

For my sixth time over the past ten years I planned a week of outdoor adventure travelling up from Leicestershire to Fort William. This year, we decided on a change of accommodation from our usual chalet approach in nearby Blaich. Dalendrien proofed a welcome change! In particular we found the place to have a surprising amount of open space once settled in & winding down to relax. The living room and kitchen diner is a cosy set up with wonderful views out to Loch Eil to the front and Ben Nevis and its mountain range to the side. We felt as a group of two Brothers, a Father and Uncle - that we all had ample space to wind down, relax, find our own space, at the same time as enjoying a spacious communal area at the end of a long day's outdoor activity! The hour is wonderfully kitted-out with all you might need to cook and make the place your own for the week. From everything needed in a functioning kitchen, to a very interesting range of books and games, in some cases dating back a good few decades - which adds a certain character & feel of longevity to the place. Bathrooms are particularly nicely done, modern, and bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable, with plenty of thoughtful touches and pleasant décor to complete. Don't forget the cows! The Highland Cows! haha And plenty of bird life for the avid birdwatcher. Annoyingly, vrbo have limited characters for my review :-/ So I guess, I must leave saying, "we had a great time, thank you!"

Een prachtig, royaal huis voorzien van alle gemakken, luxe en heel veel (keuken)spullen. De ligging van het huis is fantastisch met uitzicht op Ben Nevis en Loch Linnhe. Herten , schapen, highlanders; ze zijn allemaal te spotten in de tuin of het land dichtbij het huis.De communicatie met Nicki, eigenaresse, was snel, hartelijk en belangstellend. Dank he wel dat we in je huis mochten verblijven; we houden er warme herinneringen aan.

We all love the house very much and enjoy sharing it with anyone who stays in the house, we hope you feel that it is a home from home.

My parents bought the house to escape the pressures of work, have family visiting, enjoy the peace of its remoteness, the scenery and to use a boat on the loch. My grandmother was Scottish so my father felt he was returning to his roots. It is surrounded by water and mountains, remote, but not so remote that you are away from all that the area offers.
