We’ve made Fall trips to Wintergreen for decades to hike and pick apples at nearby orchards, this place is by far the nicest place we’ve stayed. It’s better than the pictures and description on VRBO, the view is phenomenal, the house is super clean and beautiful inside and out. We will be back.

Amazing place to stay

The house and communication with the owner was perfect. This was one of the best places I have stayed at, it had everything you needed and again communication with the owner was great. I highly recommend staying here, and I will certainly try to stay here again on my next trip to Wintergreen.

Beautiful weekend in the mountains

Perfect house for relaxing in the mountains - many cozy spots to sit and talk or play games, spaces for teens and adults. Views are gorgeous. The management is extremely responsive and attentive.

Loved this place!

We were a group of 3 families on an annual ski trip. This place was the best we have stayed--so clean, great layout with plenty of space, beautiful views. It felt so homey! The host provided all needed details in advance. Can't say enough good things about this property!

Perfect space for a group

We love this house. The views are spectacular and there is so much space for our large family group to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked, there are several different gathering areas for hanging out or playing games, and tons of deck space for enjoying the view on a nice day.

Perfect in every way

Interior was amazingly clean, while still having the warmth of a family gathering place. Physical location and views were amazing. When accidentally locking ourselves out, we had maintenance support to get back in very promptly.

Ski Weekend

This was our second visit to this awesome home. We had the best time enjoying the beautiful view, cooking meals in the well-appointed kitchen, sitting by the fire and reading, and playing games at the game table. This house is an easy drive to the ski slopes and a great house for a family gathering. We hope to be back again!

Enormous home with unbeatable views.

This house is an oasis. We had 4 family groups be able to spread out, with plenty of room to spare. The views are unbeatable. Both sunrise and sunset are seen from this south facing home. I absolutely recommend this house to families with children.

Exceeded Expectations

This is our 2nd time staying at home for a sibling family reunion and the home always exceeds our expectations. The large, very roomy home with an expansive view of the mountains makes for a great stay for any family and/or friends. The kitchen is one of the best stocked kitchens you could ever ask for and perfect for visitors who like to cook. The home was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Situated at the top of Wintergreen you have easy access to walking trails and the resort. In addition there is a great selection of wineries and breweries within a 15 minute drive.

Beautiful Perfect Property

I forgot about how amazing the gorgeous view out of the large living room windows is! Such a "wow" factor. Our family had a great time at this lovely well-appointed home and enjoyed skiing, hiking, tubing and board games in front of the fire. It is our third or fourth time renting this house and we always agree that this is our favorite one. Many thanks for sharing it with us. Lynda is an excellent and communicative host. We are very appreciative!!

Long weekend at Wintergreen

This past weekend my wife and I hosted our two children, their spouses and our five grandchildren for a long weekend of skiing, fun and relaxation at Wintergreen. The house we stayed at was amazing. It was very clean when we arrived, the view of the mountains from the house was breath taking. Even though there was 11 of us the house was large and we had plenty of room. The kids had room to play and the adults had room to gather, talk and enjoy the view from the multiple rooms in the house. The house was well equipped and we look forward to retiring again and highly recommend this house if you are looking to visit Wintergreen.

Don’t miss this gem!

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and hope to be able to make it an annual event. We’ve stayed in several other places in the area and this is by far our favorite. There’s plenty of space to spread out if you have a large group but also plenty of areas large enough to be together. The views from this home can’t be beat either. We had 4 couples and one baby and enjoyed playing card games, eating dinners together, tubing, and just plain relaxing. The bedrooms are all a good size and you’ll never feel crowded here. I cannot say enough good things about this property. If you visit, you won’t regret it! Lynda is a wonderful host and is very communicative.

Amazing ski weekend!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Lynda’s gorgeous Wintergreen home! The house was exactly as described. The views are spectacular! All the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. There was more than enough room for everyone to spread out, but the large sitting areas made it easy for everyone to gather. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The location was close to the slopes, so taking our kids back and forth was quick and easy. Lynda touched base beforehand to see if we had any questions and to ensure we had all the info we needed. Check-in/check-out was seamless. We definitely plan to rent again.

Excellent house and location

Our group was thoroughly impressed with the house and loved our time there. There is ample space for 8 to spread out, dine, play a game, and enjoy the fireplace and views. The owner was nice for checking in with us ahead of time and promptly responded to all of our questions and requests. We greatly appreciated the owner's flexibility and attentiveness.

You can't go wrong.

I've stayed at a lot of VRBO houses at Wintergreen, and this is one of the best. The house has clearly been loved, both in its design and the care the owners have taken in maintaining the house over the years (including little touches to make it easy to use as a guest). The views are beautiful, everything is in perfect working order, and it's in a convenient location to the Wintergreen activities. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay

This was our second visit to this marvelous house. It has stunning views, tons of space, and everything you might possibly need for a very comfortable stay. It's also spotlessly clean. We are already planning a third stay.

Fabulous House for our sibling reunion

This house fit the 9 of us (5 siblings and 4 spouses) perfectly. The location was great, the views were outstanding and the house had everything we needed. The kitchen was one of the best stocked of any place we've ever stayed. The only minor complaint was the wifi could be spotty, but I suspect that was more related to 9 people putting a big demand on it. This in no way diminished our enjoyment or satisfaction with our stay. We couldn't have been happier.

More beautiful than the photos!

Wonderful stay with our adult kids & grandbabies. Lots of room to spend time together playing games & pool; and also spread out for quiet time when needed. Beautiful views from the decks and the amazing floor to cathedral ceiling windows in the living room! Only tip is to bring all the food, spices, and drinks you'll want because it's a long drive if you forget anything. Lol! The kitchen was wonderful to have several of us cooking together! Thank you Lynda for keeping a lovely home!

Wonderful stay

Wonderful getaway!

We have four couples that meet up for a yearly getaway and this house was the perfect place for us! Plenty of room for everyone and great gathering spaces. This property offers incredible views from TWO decks. Highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a comfortable place to get away and relax!

Wonderful property

We were three families on a ski trip. The house layout was perfect for all of us and had close proximity to the slopes. Lynda was very responsive to all inquiries and went out her way to make sure we didn't have any questions before arriving. Would definitely rent this house again!
