Ocean Spirit has been on my “wish list” for 45 years…..as I watched it being built in 1980. And the experience over the Christmas holidays did not disappoint! Marcia was so kind and prompt in her correspondence to me and I truly appreciated that in a busy time of the year. My beautiful bride of 57 years passed recently after a two year battle with cancer. My two daughters and their families decided we needed to make a change in our traditions this year and a trip back to Bethany seemed appropriate since our family has loved it for the past 50 years. The house was perfectly situated on the most fantastic and peaceful part of the beach and the views were breathtaking. Accommodations were spot on with five bedrooms and the property was available off season which seems to be somewhat rare. Literally everything we needed was there….kitchen supplies, paper goods, soaps, etc. it was clean and warm and an absolute haven for all 7 of us. Waking up in the luxurious king bed in the primary to immediately sea the sun rising over the ocean was alone worth the price of admission. This Ocean Hamlet property is not “just another townhouse at the beach”, rather it is a very special place where views, sand, sea, sun and sky are right immediately at your beck and call. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed. Thank for for offering your vacation home to us Marcia and Steve…..it truly made a difference during a very difficult period in our lives.
