A beautiful home in a lovely queit location. Very spacious and well equipped . Very comfy beds . Did find the lamps on timers and restriction of hot tub times and locks on wardrobes a little restrictive . Also the large fridge freezer being locked and only able to use the small fridge was limiting for 8 guests given we wished to eat in . However the house was spotlessly clean and comfortable .

Beautiful quaint cottage

Lovely cottage in a quiet peaceful location, really comfortable and cosy.. The kitchen had every utensil you would need. Any the space was great to spread out In, we even got lost a few times. We were unable to find an appliance guide/booklet so it would have been handy if one was more accessible. Overall a lovely time was had and we would return.

A beautiful house, lovely hot tub. Everything you need.

We had a lovely stay away. The kitchen is very well equipped and the hot tub lovely. I would stay here again.

Fabulous house and beautiful location

Stayed for my 50th birthday and there were 7 of us ranging from 47 to 87. The house is beautiful, very well stocked and beautifully presented. We loved every room and the owners thought of everything. We used the hot tub which was lovely also. Pub in the village does great food

Family get together

What a lovely cottage in a great location. The house looked wonderful in the photos but was even better in person and felt like a home away from home whilst still having a sense of country escapism! We came to stay with children and the hosts were so accommodating with providing high chair cot and stairs gates if we wanted them. The village pub was excellent and close by and the family also enjoyed the hot tub. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Lovely cottage stay with friends

Beautifully furnished and finished cottage with everything you need. Lots of space for a big group. Great communication with owners via email and phone, and even on hand to help when needed during stay. Super clean and cosy feel inside, hot tub and outside space was lovely too. Easy location to find and park. Nearyby to shops and other towns. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Short break with friends

We (2 family’s) had a lovely short break. The property is very big and plenty of room for the 8 of us. The house was clean and had everything you needed supplies, well equipped. Lots of great walks nearby and the Shitters in did some great food. All in all an excellent find. Steve

A lovely place but someone elses' home

Positives: The Thatch cottage is a really beautiful spacious property with bags of character. When we had an issue with the gas stove (our fault) the owner was straight round to help. The hot tub is lovely. Negatives: This feels like being in someone else's home. It is nowhere in the listing that this holiday let would be full of someone else's things. The american style fridge freezer that greets you on the entrance is locked and full of the owners things who seem to move out to their converted garage when guests are in. The under counter fridge and freezer further in the kitchen are small, hard to access and really nowhere big enough for 8 people. The conservatory isn't really usable as it's full of the owners locked gym equipment. The main bedroom has just one small wardrobe with 8 hangers and no shelves - the owners things are also at the top and bottom of this only available storage space - the other 5 wardrobes are locked. The chest of drawers is locked. The 2 bedside tables are locked. Welcome pack - 6 Lindors for 6 people - quite amusing. there was NO pint of fresh milk as in the info which we really could have done with after a 5 hour drive.

Beautiful property in a beautiful location

The property is beautiful, perfect for our gathering of friends with all the space. The pictures don’t do justice to how big some of the rooms are. The property was clean, all the information placed around in regards to TVs etc. was also very helpful when we wanted a movie night.
