The "La Casa di Pierino" residence is located on the second floor of an old building without an elevator, situated right in the heart of the historic village. The apartment is divided into two areas: _2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with 4 single beds, including 2 bunk beds) _bathroom (with toilet, bidet, sink, and shower stall), a fully equipped kitchen with dishes (induction cooktop with compatible pots and pans, refrigerator, microwave, and a pod-style coffee maker) and a small veranda with a sink and a storage closet for cleaning supplies. Both units are accessed through two security doors located side by side in the building. The spaces are spacious, air-conditioned, and sanitized. The residence offers free Wi-Fi, a TV, and adequate workspace. It is located just a few meters from Bari’s main attractions, such as churches, museums, theaters, restaurants, bars, beaches, and shops. It is just a few meters from the Bari train station and the port. It is 9 km from the Bari-Karol Wojtyla Airport.

We were shocked to learn that to reach the bathroom and kitchen you have to leave the apartment and cross a common hallway used by other tenants and the unlock a separate room where the facilities were located. Also there was no ac in the bathroom and kitchen. This was not presented in the property description.

This was the perfect location and such a beautiful, authentic place. The host was so friendly and kind. They helped us with finding the place and getting settled. They even asked if we needed help with finding transportation back to the airport after our stay. I would definitely stay here again. Perfect location.

Great place to stay in Bari

We just loved our short stay in Bari. It was very easy to communicate with our host. Stella provided us with useful information before our stay and was very available during our stay. The house is very clean and well equiped. It is located right in the heart of the old part of the city. We recommend highly!

Took a bit to get used to, sleeping rooms were separate from the bathroom and kitchen. Beds and pillows were not good.

Nice stay in Bari

The appartment is divided in 2 parts. The bedrooms on one side of the staircase and the kitchen and bathroom on the other side. To go from one side to the other, you need to go through the staircase. It is very clean and well located in the heart of the ancient city.

Great location and easy stay.

It is on the second floor. There are atairs but of course if you want to be in the old town with a lovely view of the streets this is generally the case. Great shower great airconditioning. Two things I always think is important. The bedrooms are separate from the bathroom but it's not really a problem. Great location. You are in the middle of the beautiful old town. Antonio and Stella were attentive and easy to contact. We enjoyed our short stay. Thank you.

Short Stay in Bari

The apartment is perfectly located to explore the centro storico of Bari. The space does lack anywhere to sit comfortably as the living room is full of single and bunk beds. Better suited for a family. The bathroom and part-kitchen is in a separate space off the hallway with a separate locked door so be very careful to keep the keys with you! The host was very accommodating. They came out in the very late evening due to my late arrival.

Interesting

The 3-star rating is based on the fact that this apartment is located on the top floor of a 4-story building with no lift. Our group are all 70+ years of age, two with physical limitations. If this fact was noted in the description, we would never have rented it. Also, the bedrooms are in one apartment and the kitchen/bathroom is across the hall. Don't forget your keys or you'll be locked out! The location is in the heart of the historical center. We found a parking spot on the street (be careful of time limitations) because the suggested parking lot was quite a distance from the apartment. Checking in was difficult because the owner's driving/parking directions were confusing even to a local resident who was incredibly gracious in helping us to locate the apartment. The owner's husband was at the location once we parked our car and assisted our friends with carrying their luggage up to the 4th story. We chalked up this experience as part of our adventure!

This is located in the old city of Bari, which is exactly what I wanted. The old streets, restaurants, plus it's a regular neighborhood with many people living in the area. It's just what I wanted.
