Situated on the outskirts of the historic market town of Wimborne and just a 25 minute drive from the Poole and Sandbanks coastline, Owen Sound has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms all with complimentary towels and Egyptian cotton bedding. Huge open plan kitchen and snug overlooking 3 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. Cosy lounge with huge TV and 3 sofas, open plan dining area seating up to 12, 3 ground floor bedrooms and 3 bedrooms on the first floor. Huge garden with large patio area and dedicated pavilion boasting indoor heated swimming pool with shower/changing room.
Plenty of parking in a very peaceful location.

This spacious and comfortable home was perfect for us seven adults and four children celebrating New Year's. The indoor pool was the highlight, naturally. The pool is in a separate, locked building, which was very important to us. It is nicely heated and there were pool toys available. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. The host provided a travel cot and highchair, which were very much appreciated. The grounds of the home are lovely and it close to Kingston Lacy and other lovely places.

My family really enjoyed staying at this beautiful home. The pool added wonderful, dependable fun every day for the 4 boys aged 9,8,6,40. Plenty of age appropriate outdoor equipment and lots of yard space including a beautiful secret garden.The house had plenty of dishe/glasses/etc and two fridges. The large jetted thawed out its userd after a long day outdoors at local sites.

Much needed family break

Much overdue family get together. Party of 8 adults and 4 children from 4-11. Kids loved the pool and good location for visiting local area. Everything we needed was available.

Great house

We enjoyed a weekend in Dorset using this house as a base. We enjoyed the garden and the pool. Only suggestion is that the music system in the house needs an update.

A lovely time was had by all, the check in was good, there is plenty of china, cutlery, dishes etc.We used the BBQ which was a success.The outside space was brilliant the kids loved it. We had to work out how to switch on the integrated coffee machine, once we had managed that we ran out of coffee beans, there were none to refill.The chlorine level in the pool seemed to be very high, there were a lot of sore eyes.

Big birthday celebration

Wonderful holiday house with just about everything you could wish for. The pool was a great hit with the children (and big children!) and there was plenty of room in the house for our family games. We loved it.

Friends Trip

We stayed for a long weekend as a group of 12 and we’re blown away by the property. A beautiful venue with lots of socialising space, well equipped and a large pool (which was well heated). Christina was fantastic and was easy to get a hold of if we needed her. Would definitely recommend!

Girls 30th weekend

A group of 12 stayed at own sound to celebrate turning 30 this year- and it was the perfect place to stay. Quietly tucked away, huge gardens, a clean and warm pool and a beautiful house. Even nicer than all of the pictures! The hosts thought of everything and it suited our trip perfectly. Would definitely reccomend to a group of friends or family, hopefully we will be back!

Fabulous property, with excellent amenities. Worked very well for our cross-generational group. Plenty of space, everything is well maintained and the pool was a big hit with everyone. Very helpful owner and property manager and excellent communication. Would definitely book this again.

Fantastic Property

We stayed for two nights at Owen Sound and were super impressed with the property and facilities. The house was immaculately clean and the gardens beautifully kept. The house was well equipped and even small details had been thought about. We had a couple of small queries which were answered promptly by the owner. We really couldn’t have asked for a better place for our stay. In fact we were so delighted we were looking to book again for later this year, but sadly the property was already booked.

Multiple celebration stay

location good for New Forest and South Coast with plenty of activities. with 4 children aged 6-8, the pool was a big hit, but the garden also allowed them to let off steam and run around. Just a little disappointed that their wasn't a full inventory and some details of items were incomplete. Some minor maintenance issues we didn't bother notifying about, but the shower drain blockage was cleared quickly and effectively. All in all a great place to stay for extended family groups.

Great House for a mini break

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The surrounding was beautiful, everyday we got out for a lovely walk in nature and explored the different walk trails. It was very easy to stay in the house as it had everything we needed for our family stay. The rooms were lovely and spacious and the there were enough bathrooms for the amount of rooms. We were there to celebrate my husbands birthday and stayed here with our family. The pool was used everyday of our stay with the kids aged 8,9 and 11 it was enough for the kids to enjoy splashing about. The house is in a lovely area as we could drive into town and have meals in a few restaurants in town and even light shopping too. A great stay for a mini break in the country or a family/ friends holiday. Thanks so much for making your house available we have some lovely memories there.

Great stay in beautiful house and garden

Superb 4 night stay. Super comfortable house with plenty of space for our party of 4 kids, 7 adults. The indoor pool was an absolute winner but the garden itself was also very lovely to sit in with beautiful planting and plenty of space for ball games, and with trampoline and excellent imaginative climbing frame/monkey bars/slide and badminton set also provided the kids and parents were all kept very happy. Also an excellent pub with large playing garden within a short walking distance. Only one very minor niggle, oil was listed as a standard supply in the kitchen but there wasn’t any which meant a quick dash out to buy some to prepare our first evening’s meal. Not a big issue as the area is well provided with shops within a mile.

Great location, gorgeous house with a fab pool!

We stayed for 2 nights with our extended family of 11. The indoor heated pool was a huge hit. Lots of indoor games and outdoor games for the whole family to enjoy. The house is beautifully kept, very clean and has everything you would need and more. The sound system throughout the house with speakers in the ceilings, including the pool was a bonus. The beds were all very comfortable. Ample space throughout the house. The garden was of a great size which the children thoroughly enjoyed. We highly recommend coming to stay and we will certainly be returning. Christina was fast at replying and met us upon our arrival with a warm welcome. The built in coffee machine was an added bonus! The local pub does a fab roast which is no more than 5 mins walk up the road. 5 * all round!
