This Lucca holiday rental was once part of the Controni family estate. The Controni family was a powerful family in Lucca and this house would originally been used as the private olive mill. These days, this Lucca villa provides a high level of accommodation for holidaymakers looking to explore this stunning area of Tuscany. The beautiful red exterior of the house provides the perfect backdrop to the private pool that sits in front (13m x 4m and 1.8m deep).

The Space:
Inside, thus Lucca holiday rental perfectly combines traditional Tuscan country living with modern luxuries. Exposed wooden beams and original terracotta floors are the perfect backdrop to the traditional warm prints used on the soft furnishings. The result is a calm, cosy and relaxing space in which to unwind from the stresses of day to say life.

On the ground floor of this Lucca holiday rental is a large, spacious living area. Plenty of sofas and chairs provide seating for everyone and doors lead out to the terrace, gardens and pool area. There is also a spacious kitchen on this floor. A dining table here seats up to eight guests. Six steps lead up from this floor to the master bedroom. It has a large double bed (170cm x 190cm) and boasts an ensuite bathroom with shower.

The remaining three bedrooms at this Lucca holiday rental are on the first floor of the house. All these rooms have an ensuite bathroom, safe and queen sized beds (170cm x 190cm). One can also be laid out as a twin room if you prefer. Two of the ensuite bathrooms have showers whilst the third has both a bath tub and shower.

Outside, as well as a private pool, guests have shared use of a volleyball field, grass tennis court and a five-a-side football pitch.

The Neighborhood:
1.5 km away, Vorno is the closest village to this Lucca holiday rental. This village has a small supermarket and restaurant. Lucca is 7 km drive away, Florence 50 km, Cinque Terre 60 km and Siena 80 km. For those who like the Tuscan coast, the nearest beach is in Viareggio which is a 29 km drive from the house. The upmarket coastal resort of Forte dei Marmi is 39 km away. The tennis club is 2.5 km away. There is also a putting green here however the nearest golf course is a bit further away (29 km).

Please note that prices at this Lucca holiday rental include a complimentary daily maid service 6 days a week (excluding Sundays). Linen will be changed mid way through your stay. Air conditioning, heating and electricity usage up to 500 KW is included in the price. Any usage above this amount client will be charged on departure based on consumption.
