Villa Lucca is an exclusive 17th century luxury Lucca villa rental sat in extensive parkland with private lake (home to swans) and a private pool (20m x 10m and 1.5m to 3m deep). It was originally the Summer residence of Count Cosimo Bernadici but is now rented so that others can enjoy the incredible antiques and majestic frescoed rooms..

The Space:
Inside, the accommodation in this Lucca villa rental is laid out over four levels.

On the ground floor, there is a comfortable living area with TV, along with a formal dining area seating 14 guests, a fully equipped kitchen and larder.

The first three bedrooms are located on the first floor of this Lucca villa rental. All have large double beds and all boast ensuite bathrooms with showers. Two also share a spacious walk-in wardrobe. Also on this floor is an incredibly beautiful frescoed living room with breathtaking views over the gardens below and a music room with grand piano with views of the lake.

On the second floor, there are four further bedrooms, once again all with ensuite bathrooms. Two are twin rooms whilst the other two have double beds. There is also another small kitchen and living area.

In the basement of this Lucca villa rental, guests will find a traditional dining room with wood burning oven, ideal for preparing pizzas, along with a second kitchen, living room, laundry room and a couple of extra bathrooms. There are two long tables here seating up 16 guests.

Outside, this Lucca villa rental is nestled within stunning Italian gardens. A stream flows into two small lakes overlooked by weeping willows whilst tall cypress trees create a rather majestic impression along the entrance drive. There are two huge alfresco dining areas (one to the front and one to the rear) and a beautiful gazebo covered in jasmine.

Balls and rackets are provided along with access to the tennis, football and volleyball areas which are 2 minutes drive away and which are shared with the guests of 5 other nearby villas.

This Lucca villa rental really is an incredibly elegant property and guests will be well looked after during their stay, enjoying the services of a personal chef along with maid service. The chef service is provided 6 days a week (excludes Wednesdays) and includes the preparation of breakfast and one other meal per day. (Please note that the cost of the food is extra though and is charged at 12 euro per person for breakfast and 45-55 euro per person for dinner. The daily morning maid service is also provided 6 days a week and excludes Sundays. Guests also have access to a 24 hour concierge service. Please note that heating, A/C and electricity usage is provided up to 2000 KW per week. The client will be charged for any consumption over and above this.

Lucca itself is 6.5 km away, Pisa is 19 km, Florence 50 km, Cinque Terre 60 km and Siena 80 km. The nearest beaches are in Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi 19 km away. For those with an interest in golf, there is a putting green 2.5 km away and a full golf course 29 km away. Tennis fans will also find a tennis club 2.5 km away.
