A spectacular villa

Everything about our stay was perfect. The villa was exactly as described. It was beautiful, clean, and the views couldn’t be better. The service was professional and friendly and our hosts were willing to help with anything. If you want to treat your family or friends to a perfect stay in Positano, this is the place to do it!

Truly exceptional in every way

This property was absolutely amazing. The location and views are the best in Positano. Roberta was a wonderful host; meeting all of our needs and providing great activity and restaurant recommendations. The house is fully stocked and was perfect for my family which extended from my teenage kids to my 80 year old mother. We loved our stay. Highly recommend!

Beyond our expectations.

It’s hard to plan a trip to the Amalfi coast it can be overwhelming. My review is for families that have a higher budget. The house was incredible. We had five people so I recommend renting the entire house. Marina and Roberta went above and beyond for us. She did so much more then we ever expected. I highly recommend Dario who run the private yachts he was incredible. Best day ever! I would rent the yacht for two days. I highly recommend eating at Maxx and making sure you pre book all your dinner reservations. There are many good places to eat and there are also not so good places. I used Connie for our transportation. She was really good. She was also as sweet as can be. I don’t recommend the Lemon Tour. Marina and Roberta knows the best places to rat especially if you like good food. Pay for the porters to bring your bags to the house it’s 15E per bag, But it’s a must! Tips aren’t expected but I tipped when I thought the service was great! Like house keeping. The daily house keeping was the Best!! You won’t regret staying in this house! It’s worth every penny!

Amazing Property and Location

Positano is an amazing place and this is the most ideal place to stay in the entire town! You feel like you are in an old world castle, truly unique, but with all the modern amenities you would want. Roberta our host was spectacular, she was always available and booked special dinners and tours to suit our family. I can't wait to come back and stay at the Trasita tower again!

Wonderful, Private, Unique... makes a Positano stay even better!

Very unique and wonderful property. the owners are great people, very helpful with great communication. This is one property that you will not forget, you will definitely make memories here... While this was not our first trip to Positano, it was our favorite due to Torre Trasita! Marina and Roberto are very nice and they helped arrange for all of our transportation and for porters to carry our bags. The property is not modern luxury, but it is very clean and nice. The views from almost every window and the top deck are amazing. We will stay here again on our next trip!

Picture perfect holiday retreat

Torres Trasita is more than a historic treasure along the coast of Positano; it is also a dream getaway -- better than expected! Six of us rented the entire property comprised of three suites. The accommodations are as pictured, very nice and well appointed, but it is the views that are spectacular beyond photographs or words. You will clay be the envy of countless other travelers passing by curious how to reach your private and exclusive rooftop!! It's an excellent spot to soak in the sun and the views -- a peaceful retreat in the hub of a beautiful and busy coastline. Helping to make your vacation dreams come true -- alongside the wonderful family members who proudly own the property, is Connie! There was nothing we asked for she couldn't accommodate. "Above and beyond" does not begin to capture Connie's superb level of service. We are grateful to the two sisters who own and operate the property with their mother (Roberta and Marina) for restoring this treasure tower for visitors to enjoy. If you love the photos, make every effort to book the Torre Trsita -- you will not be disappointed!!

Incredible location and beautiful house. Extraordinary home.

This house is as perfect as you will ever find. The location is terrific and the rooftop is incredible. The view is stunning. The house itself was equally beautiful - immaculate, furnishings lovely and very welcoming. The owners were very gracious and went out of their way to help us - including helping us plan a perfect all day boat trip around Capri. Highly highly recommend this house - an experience you’ll never forget

Fantastic Stay

I honestly can not say enough wonderful things about Torre Trasita and Roberta/Marina. This stay was something out of a story book - attention to detail was not spared. Working with Roberta before our trip was fast, easy and very informational. When we arrived, Marina took over and helped us settle in and answered questions. Amazing to say the least!!

From the personal meet & greet from one of the owners herself to the personal touches in our suite it was exceptional! The location is the best location on the amalfi coast! Just a very short walk to the beach and amazing shopping! Less than a minute walk to your pick of fantastic restaraunts and the market. We will be back as soon as life allows!

Incredible Experience

From the personal greeting at check in and check out, to the prosseco in the well-stocked kitchen, to the view from the private terrace... everything was incredible. I mean, you're basically staying in a castle... with updates and modern amenities as good as any hotel or private apartment. We even got engaged on the balcony and are already planning our next visit (perhaps for a wedding!). Simply remarkable.

Wow! Wow! Wow!

Oh my goodness, what an amazing spot. I can not imagine a more beautiful spot to stay in Positano. It is perfectly located just a few hundred yards from the center of Positano, but when you are there you feel a million miles away. You are situated in the turret of a castle hanging over the edge of the Mediterranean. It just simply cannot get any more beautiful and absolutely perfect. Marina met us in town when we arrived after having arranged transportation from the airport in Naples with her friend Connie. Easy as it can get. The apartment is so beautiful and the perfect size for a couple. The balcony overlooking the sea was the perfect spot to view the most incredible moon every evening enjoying that last glass of perfect Italian wine!! It was the most beautiful and peaceful place I have ever stayed . My wife and I can't wait to go back again as soon as possible!! Again, all I can say is WOW!!! Unbelievably beautiful!!!

This was the perfect accommodations for my family. It is a historic watch tower that has been recently renovated. Upstairs suite , we stayed in, has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, living room/ dining room / kitchen open floor plan. It also has a large terrace on the roof. It is decorated very nicely. The pictures are representative of the place. With VRBO you can't always rely on what you see in the pictures. In this case what you see is what you get. As a matter of fact it was better than I imagined. The one bedroom suite which I saw was simarly decorated . It had a smaller side terrace that was private. Beds were comfortable. All appliances were new had worked. It had all the necessary utensils, glasses , plates,etc. The owners were friendly and accommodating. The owners connected us with a woman named Connie that lined up our transfers , tour guide and boat trip. I recommend using her. The location is close to everything in Positano. This place was the higlight of or final stay in Italy. I hope we will be able to come back and stay in Torre Trasita soon.

Positano Wedding!

Torre Trasita is the most beautiful location in all of Positano. We were there for four glorious nights. We were met on our arrival in Positano and shown our home away. Marina, Roberta's sister was so gracious and helped with Miss Connie from My Positano private car, in tracking our lost luggage. Both ladies helped us so much with all of our requests for information. They felt like extended family. The villa is so beautifully decorated- spacious, gorgeous bathroom with great shower and cool lighting. The bed was divine- both comfort, design and listening to the sounds of the water as we fell asleep.The view is incredible and we enjoyed sitting on our back porch drinking wine in the afternoon and enjoying a croissant for our breakfast. Easy walking to great restaurants and shops! Highly recommend the cooking class at Buca di Bacco, lunch at Cova dei Saraceni and easy to catch ferries to take day trips to Capri. Definitely talking about renting the whole castle and going back for a longer visit. Most importantly an easy walk and limited steps unlike everywhere else that our friends stayed! Dreaming of our next visit!

Fantastic experience !

Torre Trasita was a wonderful place to stay in Positano. The pictures don't do it enough justice. The position on the water in between two beaches is ideal. Close enough to walk to everything in Positano yet private at the same time. Marina and Roberta went out of there way to make it a special vacation for us. I would recommend it without reservation. If you have a family or larger group I would recommend renting both apartments and having use of the entire Tower, balconies, patios and rooftop deck. Absolutely stunning......we will be back !

Your very own castle!

We absolutely loved this incredible Tower. It was very difficult to leave. Spacious , unusual, immaculate and we truly felt special staying here for 4 nights. Whenever we walked out the door , and people were walking the pathway , they smiled and looked at us with envy. We hope to return . Roberta and Marina were extremely accommodating. Loved, loved, loved!

Best Stay Ever. Anywhere.

We had the good luck to stay in both the junior suite (the blue room with the shaded balcony) and the larger suite while in Positano. Roberta and Marina are wonderful, and La Trasita is even more beautiful than the photos. We were the envy of every person who saw the tower from the sea or the walkway. The tower is also so conveniently located to the beaches, shops and restaurants, it would be hard to improve. We loved the junior suite - it had everything we needed and was so incredibly quiet. The deluxe suite is amazing - it was hard to leave. You can't go wrong either way. A tip: our favorite restaurant in Positano was just a few steps from the tower - Lo Guaraccino. The staff was so friendly and the food was the best. You can also get an awesome take-out pizza in just a few minutes. We used Roberta's friend Connie when we needed a driver (Pompeii) and she was wonderful. I imagine that La Trasita will soon be booked solid for a year or more in advance as word gets out. It's worth the wait.

pretty amazing place

We stayed in the suite on the top level. One of a kind experience. Right on the cliff near the water overlooking Positano, with amazing views in all directions. The décor and furnishings are top notch, has everything you need. The roof top patio is the best - you're literally on the top of the tower with a nice collection of loungers, chairs, even an outdoor shower. Highly recommend and we plan to return in the future. Couple minute walk to all the shops and restaurants; and to the beach. Thanks for all the great hospitality - Brandon

Wonderful, Amazing, Friendly Experience

We are a family of 5 who stayed at Torre Trasita for 3 days/nights. It was beautifully decorated, clean and charming! It had all the amenities and MORE you need. The terrace on the top was spectacular and we spent wonderful family time sunbathing, reading, playing chess and sipping wine all with a view that is hard to imagine. A very short walk down the hill to restaurants, grocery market and shopping. A short walk to accesse the public beach where we floated, swam and rented paddle boards in the gorgeous teal blue, perfect temperature water. The owners were extremely friendly and took the time to show us around, make arrangements for porters and transportation and make us feel a home during our stay. We HIGHLY recommend Torre Trasita and it is worth every penny! We hope to come back again in the future and would definitely stay here again.

The best stay of our vacation!

I just can't say enough positive things about our wonderful stay at Torre Trasita. From the initial hospitality of Roberta and Marina, we could tell that there was going to be something special about this rental. First, the location is just amazingly perfect. (Yes, you should prepare yourself for a walk - 8 minutes downhill with stairs from the parking garage if you have a car, then another 5 minutes uphill, including a few stairs, just to get to the unit.) However, you are truly right in the center of Positano. And you can't get to anything in Positano without a walk! The castle is situated right over the sea with an absolutely glorious view of the center of town. We spent every night on the roofdeck, lounging to a mix of the water lapping against the cliffs and light jazz drifting over the air from the restaurants in town. Inside, the unit is just perfectly maintained and has literally everything you could want (laundry, food prep, ice machine, etc.) The air conditioning actually is COLD - which is not something you usually get in Italy! - and the unit is quiet and impeccably clean. The beds are comfortable, even the pullout sofa bed in the living room. We were so glad to have stayed in Torre Trasita - oh the jealousy of those we met on the beach when we pointed above the water and said "that's our castle!" - and can't wait for our return. The Jewel of Positano

"Torre Trasita" is an artistic master peace composed by a quality multi generational family from Positano. Roberta and her sister Marina and the entire family are the reason this place exist and have poured over every detail of this architectural jewel built on the Cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean and the beaches of Positano. There is NO finer place than this and if you want that fantasy vacation location then look no further. "Torre Trasita is within walking distance to the main beaches, shopping, restaurants, etc but you wont go far as you will find this home draws you right back and you may find yourself enjoying staying at this luxurious home as much as exploring the rest of the Amalfi Coast. The family is genuine and this is their master peace and they are happy to help you in any of your needs as they are proud of this property and truly joyful that you are their guest they will make you feel right at home.The service was impeccable and the home is equipped with everything you will need for a long term stay or short term it is fitted with all the latest appliances including an Ice Maker which is a rarity in Italy.The top deck is the place where you will find yourself day dreaming and sunning most of the time as you watch the tourist come an go from Positano.
