One of the best located holiday cottages, with a sea view, we are nestled by the beach, overlooking Glenelg Bay, where guests will enjoy stunning Highland vistas "over the sea to Skye" and beyond to the South West, towards the sound of Sleat and the islands of Rhum and Eigg.

About 35-45 minutes from Kyle and the Skye Bridge, this place is very lovely over looking the loch. Within watking distance of a great pub/inn, I highly recommend staying here if the opportunity presents itself.

Really loved the home and location. The home is set-up for families too including toys in the conservatory and a small outdoor area in the back that our kids enjoyed discovering. Loved having a full kitchen that we could cook our meals and the wood fire place was lovely for the cold nights. Truly a getaway from the busy city, with beach explorations and ruins to find. The easy jump over via ferry to Isle of Skye is a must as for seal watching and views. Dinner as the Glenelg Inn was a winner, but highly recommend calling them to reserve a spot as they were very busy while we were there.Tip: Plan to fill up your car on the way into Glenelg as well as grab supplies like convenience groceries and or drinks. The local shop is great and very well stocked with bread, milk, veggies, frozen meats, but the only option within 30 minutes; they are closed on Sundays.

A comfortable house in a perfect location

We had a wonderful stay - so many great things to do in the area. Also just sitting out front in the sunshine looking at the view. The house is really pretty, comfortable and well equipped - thanks for a great holiday!

A cozy traditional home. Beautiful water views and even friendly sheep that wander free on the beach. We particularly enjoyed the log burner in the living room. Comfy beds and lots of hot water...well equipped kitchen and ground level bed and bath if anyone has mobility issues. We would definitely stay here again...loved it

Beautiful Seaside Stay

The wonderful, quiet village of Glenelg was an amazing start to our trip to Scotland. The Inn and Shop are less than a 10 minute walk away and the people of Glenelg are incredibly nice and helpful. The house is very cozy and has a lot of great touches that make your stay comfortable and relaxing. You'll love this place!

Couldn't have asked for a better spot. The house had EVERYTHING you could need and was a great base after a day in the hills. We hope to be back next year!

Relaxing qwiet location

We enjoied the stay close to the waterfront - especially from the nice Wintergarden.The upper floor rooms - especially the bathroom - are only suited for people under 1,60 meters.

Family Break in Glenelg

A fantastic week, great house in an amazing location. The house had everything we needed, all the comforts of home in a beautiful setting. The added bonus of the Glenelg Inn (welcoming & fantastic food) & shop within a few mins walk makes a big difference. Lots to do nearby in the most beautiful setting. I hope we’ll be back soon!

Comfortable cottage with incredible loch view

Lovely house with just the best view out to Skye you can imagine. Well appointed kitchen, very comfy beds and incredible raised decking area for views of the loch. 5 mins drive from the most wonderful micro brewery tap room Dun Brewing, which was the highlight of the trip. Also walkable to a cosy pub and village shop which was a plus. Great communication from host. Would stay again

Beautiful location and nice isolated place.

Beautiful Location. Loved the water views and the observatory/sun room. Beds very comfortable. Upstairs bathroom small. Great things to visit nearby. Taking the ferry with lots of fun. But getting to Isle of Skye using the bridge is a long drive.

Lovely Sea House!

We loved the remoteness of this property! Beautiful views. Fascinating little village. Bring supplies and food with you. It is a trek to a local grocery. The house is lovely inside with a unique floor plan which we loved. Beds are extremely comfortable. The Glenelg Inn was a special treat, great food!

Wonderful cottage in beautiful location

We had a lovely stay over New Year. The cottage is very well equipped and stocked. The heating was good and the added bonus of a log burning stove for the evenings. The cottage has a smart TV, excellent wifi and is a five minute walk from the excellent Glenelg Inn - great food and tasty locally-brewed beers - and the very well stocked local shop with plenty of local produce. There are lovely walks either from the cottage, or others after a short drive, all of which were dog friendly for off lead walking.
