From the property, there are many flat, off-road footpaths leading either down to the lakeside and Derwentwater Marina or into Keswick with its abundance of shops and facilities. The Keswick Launch can be accessed from Nichol End Marina, allowing you to view nearby fells from the lake. You can enjoy the views from Catbells on a quiet evening stroll or head to Brandlehow Park along the lake shore path.
