Sea Nook - sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

As the name implies, Sea Nook is a cosy corner away from the world. This traditional fisherman's cottage overlooks the inner harbour, presenting a beautiful perspective of Brixham life from the lounge and two of its three bedrooms. With a twin and bunk room additional to the king-size master, and dedicated parking on the harbourside below, it's an exceptional homebase only a few minutes' walk from the heart of town. There, you'll find varied offerings to eat and shop, and easy access to the great beyond.

The home's appliances and amenities include a flat screen TV, DVD player, dishwasher and microwave. Featuring an open plan lounge diner and a seated patio to the rear accessible off the bunk room, it's perfect for socialising. In the lounge area, the exposed stone electric feature fireplace and beam ceilings harken to the building's historic appeal. There are two half-tiled bathrooms including a conveniently placed ground-floor shower room, as well as a bright, well-stocked kitchen.

Should the weather turn greyer, there are board games and books provided to enjoy with tea or a glass of wine nearby the large front-facing windows.

A lovely stay

We had a lovely stay in Sea Nook. A really cosy cottage. Everything we needed was there, the beds were comfortable and the views from the lounge and two of the bedrooms were amazing. The stairs were a little steep but that’s what you expect in an old cottage. We will be staying there again.

Amazing views, brilliant location!

This was our second time visiting this property as it was that good. Location is perfect, such a short walk into town. The views were amazing - we spent hours sitting and watching the world go by! The holiday company are also so helpful and amended our booking easily and quickly when we had a problem prior to arrival. Would recommend both the property and the holiday company. We’ll be back to stay at this property again! Nobody wanted to leave.

An excellent three days spent at the Sea Nook

A great location handy for the shops and restaurants. The views from the property of the harbour and beyond are lovely. The steep stairs can be a bit of a challenge but otherwise a perfect place to be!

A very pleasant stay as usual and an excellent location.

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings, stairs a bit of a problem but my sister and myself were not put off. Microwave could do with some attention though.

Sea Nook

Great property with amazing views. We stayed last year and were that impressed we booked to come back. There was everything that you could need whilst staying there, it was lovely and clean. The towels and bed linen were all soft and clean, I don't know what they wash them in but they smell amazing. Would highly recommend.

Amazing location!

We have stayed in Brixham many times now and this has to be our favourite house so far. The views are amazing and location is great too. Not used the holiday company before and was really impressed with them - top customer service! Definitely be booking with them again. 100% recommend this property. Thankyou for a great holiday home!

Lovely short break

Lovely cottage with fantastic views of the harbour. It is very well equipped and well presented with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Special mention to Debbie in the office who was very helpful and sorted out a parking issue straight away.

We stayed in Sea Nock for a long weekend. It was an amazing property in a stunning location . The house has everything you need, it's clean and tidy. The views from the front rooms are stunning. We didn't want to leave. Will definitely be booking to stay again 5 .

Fresh fish, harbour views, lovely stay.

We had a lovely week at Sea Nook. Gorgeous views of the busy harbour, ever changing and I loved it especially at night as the sun set. A lovely walk along to Breakwater Beach and beyond... and an excellent bus service so hardly used the car. The Lido is great too. All in all a lovely week and everything we needed.

Fantastic setting

Lovely cottage in a great location overlooking the harbour and Torbay. Ideal base for walks in and around town, with the added bonus of a parking space down by the harbour - we didn't move the car all week! Helpful staff in the office who I had to contact about the heating (for the towel rails - it was warm enough without central heating being on!) Good places to eat out in the town and great scenery

Brilliant stay in Brixham!

We love Sea Nook - it is about the 4th time we have stayed there. Excellent location overlooking the harbour, with proper sea views and a bench in front of the house to sit in the sun. Cleanliness is top class. Kitchen really well equipped. Beds very comfy. Can't fault it. We visit Brixham every year and have stayed in a number of different properties and although Sea Nook is not as big or opulent as some others , it is a lovely place to stay and meets all our needs. Huge benefit in my mind too, to booking with My Brixham Holidays - independent company run by local people, as I personally don't like the big chains.

Return to Sea Nook

Our second stay visiting family in Brixham. Incredible location with uninterrupted views of the stunning harbour and pretty, colourful houses on the hillside. Very clean and tidy cottage. Very well equipped kitchen. Spacious dining room. One of our group found the beds too soft for his back but the rest of the group disagreed and we're happy in their comfy beds! We've visited various cottages in Brixham over the past 10 years tovisit family. This is the first time we've returned to the same cottage. We hope we can return next year too.

Nice property

Lovely property on three floors with spectacular views. Well equipped. Parking bay in harbour below great but a climb up to property. The stairs in the property are challenging in my opinion, difficult for all ages as the treads are very narrow and twist.

Excellent base to explore Torbay

We enjoyed a lovely week in Sea Nook and didn’t need to use our car at all, instead walking, using local buses, ferries, boats and trains. We visited Exmouth, Paignton, Torquay, Dartmouth, Kingswear and the lovely ‘Greenway’, a NT property. The house was very well equipped and had everything we needed, views across Torbay from upstairs were spectacular and we were even treated to an air show featuring the Red Arrows. Instructions on how to get to the car park would have been helpful and there is an excellent car wash at Sainsbury’s in Paignton which is needed on the day of departure!

Winter break

Lovely place. Excellent location and everything that you need was in the cottage. Views were great. A couple of issues were dealt with quickly on arrival that weren’t due to the owners fault. One small thing is the downstairs bathroom sink mixer tap is Plumbed the wrong way around, not a problem if you know. So when it’s in the hot position you get cold and visa versa ;-) That really is so minor. Had great stay. Booked again for end of April

Amazing views and position in The Harbour Bowl.

The cottage was in a great position to get to the town and beautiful walks. Very spacious rooms with two lovely bathrooms. We made use of the parking space below the cottage. Enjoyed our stay in Sea Nook. Thank you!
