Well Presented One Bedroom Apartment with Beautiful roof terrace views

Casa Guilhermina is a spacious and modern well equipped first floor one bedroom apartment is located on the popular Colina Verde complex in Carvoeiro, just a short walk into town but situated in a quiet location - perfect for a relaxing holiday.
The apartment is located on the first floor with steps up to the front door, on entrance to the apartment you will find a spacious hallway leading to a very well-equipped Kitchen, Spacious and comfortable lounge, double bedroom with a King Size bed and a modern bathroom with bath and over bath shower.
Casa Guilhermina has a lovely terrace at the front which is south facing and from the front entrance you can take the external steps up to the roof terrace where you can take in the beautiful sea view and relax on the comfortable lounge furniture or really make the most of the sun on the two loungers. There is also a charcoal BBQ on this level - perfect for alfresco dining.
We have a cot, high chair and children´s cutlery so we can accommodate a baby,.
The stand out features of Casa Guilhermina are definitely the view from the roof terrace and the location for town but it also offers very spacious accommodation and great outdoor space for a one bedroom property.
We will accept winter lets on this property also, it has electric wall air con / heater units - electric is charged separately for all rentals between November and March.

Perfect location for us. We enjoyed the walking to town (even the hills- good for fitness). The flat was so clean and with the three outside areas always sun or shade could be found.

Well equipped property. Good location near centre. We loved our stay and i cannot mark it less than i have, because it was wonderful. But some new pillows would be good. And the beautiful roof terrace was a bit windy to safely use the parasol.

Wunderschöne Wohnung!Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Emma sehr genossen. Wir wurden bereits vor dem Check-In gut betreut und informiert. Der Willkommensgruß im Kühlschrank erfreute uns sehr!Ich Die Wohnung ist absolut geschmackvoll und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, was man in Ferienwohnungen auf diese Weise selten erlebt. Die zwei Balkons und die Dachterrasse bieten zu allen Tageszeiten ein angenehmes Plätzchen im Freien. Ins Zentrum sind es nur ein paar Gehminuten. Auch der Berg auf dem Rückweg ist halb so schlimm!Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag für die Dachterrasse: Ein Sonnensegel wie auf vielen benachbarten Unterkünften anbringen statt des Sonnenschirms. Im August war es heiß, teilweise aber auch sehr windig, was die Nutzung des nagelneuen Schirms und somit den Aufenthalt auf der Dachterrasse am Mittag und Nachmittag nahezu unmöglich machte.

Keurig appartement met alles wat nodig is voor een vakantie. Keuken en badkamer niet groot maar zeer compleet. Comfortabele woon- en slaapkamer. Grote smart-TV. En niet alleen een mooi dakterras maar ook een uitstekend balkon. En een zeer attente manager.

Great place to stay

Beautiful apartment, spacious very comfortable and very clean, great views from the balcony at the front and the balcony at the back was lovely to sit and have breakfast in the mornings. The kitchen was very well equipped, everything you needed and more, bed was comfortable and we slept well, so pleased to have air conditioning, to come in to the apartment after a hot day was wonderfully cool. Felt very relaxed here. Emma was so helpful with information where to eat and places to visit, sorry we didn’t get to meet you as you were ill, but thank you you for all your help and also the food pack that was left for us, we arrived late and it was really appreciated to find crusty rolls, ham cheese butter and milk and a bottle of wine in the fridge. Good wi-fi and and tv with Netflix etc if you have time to watch.Would definitely come again.

A fab apartment with wall to wall sunshine.

This is a very well equipped apartment with sunshine from sunrise to sunset.It had a balcony on either side of the property, which were great for a morning cuppa or a glass of wine on an evening.It has a great roof terrace with beautiful sea views & a BBQ. The apartment was spacious & very tastefully decorated with good air conditioning, wifi & plenty of storage space.Emma was very helpful & communicative, giving us tips on local supermarkets. We shared info with each other on some great local restaurants. She was always very helpful and responsive with any requests both before & during our stay.We arrived to a lovely welcome pack which included fresh bread, ham, cheese, butter, milk, orange juice, beers & a bottle of wine etc. This was lovely & very appreciated as we arrived on the evening, so it tied us over until we could get to a supermarket. There's a range of large supermarkets in the area - 5-6 each way on Uber.The apartment is at the top of a steep hill & shade on the roof terrace is limited, especially as it's gets very breezy for the parasol provided. These weren't major issues for us, but just a couple of points to be aware of if you have any mobility problems or you prefer shade.We hired a car for a few days & there was parking available within the complex.We'd be happy to stay here again & would definitely recommend this apartment.

Lovely apartment

Had a brilliant stay in this wonderful apartment. Everything has been thought of, a real home from home. Just a 5 minute walk to the centre of town and many restaurants. Great views of the sea and the stunning sunsets from the balcony and roof top terrace.Have been coming to this area for 10 years and already looking forward to returning. The communication from Emma was, as usual, super.

Amazing stay in beautiful property

We are regulars in Carvoeiro however weren't able to stay in our usual accommodation so booked the apartment. We were not disappointed!The accommodation was spotless and beautifully presented. They had thought of everything and lots of little extra touches, which made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. The check in was seamless and Emma communicated well throughout the whole process and was very helpful before and during the check in.The apartment is tastefully decorated and furnished. We received a generous welcome pack and it was really handy having kitchen staples and cleaning/ laundry products available for us to use.Sadly, it was very windy last week so we were unable to use the roof terrace however there are balconies front and back of the property which were more sheltered and always offered a sunny aspect either front in the afternoon and back in the morning.The apartment is in an excellent location with easy access to Restaurant Hill and the centre of resort. Carvoeiro is a great, central resort and has many beautiful places to visit in either direction.We will be recommending to our network who are also regulars to the resort and would definitely stay again!

Amazing Stay

We spent 5 weeks here. The location is fantastic, the apartment is very comfortable and the rooftop terrace is a stunning place to spend some time. Emma was an exceptional host - she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of.

Simply stunning

We had the most amazing stay. The apartment is beautiful, spotless, modern, comfortable and in a fantastic location. We were so spoilt and would return in a heart beat. The apartment has everything and I mean they owners have thought of it all. The fridge had food in already so we could make something to eat. There was wine and beers as well as snacks teas and coffee. The cleaning cupboard was full with things to use. The towels were fluffy and white and the bedding crisp and clean. Emma who showed us around was lovely and she was always just a text away if we needed anything. The apartment has 3 balconies and a roof terrace, which is just for you. The roof terrace is huge with quality furniture and there is even a huge BBQ and egg chair. I would 100% recommend for people staying in the area. The location was a short walk away from the center and very quiet at night.

Great apartment

A lovely, spacious and well-equipped apartment. Just as described in the listing. Weather wasn't great and it was nice to have such a pleasant place to come back to. Like others, impressed that things like condiments, oil, teabags etc. were in the cupboards, along with cleaning stuff. These were in addition to the generous welcome pack - mainly stuff left by other guests I imagine, but we've found it's often thrown out. When you're only really snacking in the place it's nice to have around. I should mention Emma, who manages the apartment. Very friendly and helpful and although our only problem was a broken corkscrew (and my failure to spot the two spares hanging up in the kitchen!), I'm confident Emma would have been on the spot if required. A great stay and I would recommend it. We're in our sixties and found the location quite doable. Certainly it's on top of a hill but we managed it fine. Nothing to stop anyone taking a breather halfway up, or getting a taxi for that matter.

Great location and terraces

With a front balcony, a rear balcony and a rooftop terrace there's always a place in the sun or the shade to find. Great location with just 5-10 minutes walk to downtown or the beach. A shame we had to go back home after just one week.

Very nice apartment

Lovely clean well stocked apartment one of the very best we have stayed in. A proper home from home with some fresh bread butter and ham in the fridge. Tea bags and milk and lots of other bits so you don’t have to rush out immediately for stores. Emma the host was very helpful and she met us at the property. I would say although not essential having a car is a good idea as its pretty hilly area.

Terrific Property, Great Holiday!

We have been wedded to the Monte do Carvoiero area for a number of years now and weren't sure how we'd take to this are and this property. We needn't have worried. The property is excellently located and has every mod con we needed. The property manager couldn't have been more helpful. We're planning our next stay already!

Apartment, Lage, Sauberkeit und Emma als Host einfach 1 A, das Apartment übertraf unsere Erwartungen, von den Marken Elektrogeräten bis hin zur geschmackvollen Einrichtung fehlte es uns an nichts, der Ausblick vom Haus war toll, zwei Balkone perfekt je nach Sonnenlage, der Fußweg ins Zentrum nur 5 Minuten- und das Tolle ist, die Lage vom Apartment ist total ruhig

Wonderful stay

It was really good to arrive at the apartment and find everything exactly as described online. It was lovely and clean, very spacious and had everything you could possibly want for a lovely holiday. the roof terrace is jewel in the crown with fantastic views down through the town to the sea. The essentials that were there when we arrived, ie milk, butter, water, bread rolls, were very much appreciated. The air con was brilliant, Overall we had a wonderful 10 days. Just one request, Could you flatten the hill out before we book again although we did need the exercise after all the relaxation and eating.
