Los cocoteros es un lugar tranquilo y sereno donde uno puede relajarse y disfrutar de un ambiente bastante tranquilo y la armonía con el mar. Se puede practicar diferentes tipos de actividades, desde la contemplación o el senderismo y visitar diferentes lugares y maravillosas calas para tomar el sol o bucear o hacer desnudos. El apartamento está situado en un lugar estratégico junto al mar donde se puede llegar a lugares maravillosos en poco tiempo, todo depende de lo que se quiere caminar, y la derecha o izquierda son lugares para visitar, salinas naturales en 7 minutos, solarium natural en 7 minutos, playa de arena 2 minutos, muchas calas paradisíacas individuales para tomar el sol, leer, etc.Muy cerca podemos practicar senderismo y tenemos montañas para subir. We had a comfortable stay

Like in 2017, my wife had to write a second thesis and I had to make some more miles on the racebike for my visit to Alpe d'Huez (France). So we booked a week in the appartment of Mr. J. Vincente as we also did last year. We "apped" our day and time of arrival and where warmly welcomed bij Mr "Junavi". We had a pleasant and comfortable stay. Mr Vincente spend some time (and Euro's :)) in IKEA, so the kitchenstuff is now quite complete! Marten & Hermiene, begin of May 2018

Cadre idéal et très reposant

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans l'appartement de Juanvi et le village Los Cocoteros. Situé à 2 pas d'une piscine naturelle (cf. photo) et à 5-10mn de marche d'une petite plage confidentielle (au nord). Coin très tranquille sur la période que nous avions choisie (fin novembre) mais jamais très loin de la majorité des lieux d'intérêts (max 40km / 40mn). Le logement est équipé d'un Wifi de qualité - ce qui peut sauver la mise en l'absence de réseau 3/4G sur Los Cocoteros. Magnifique vue sur mer et lever de soleil depuis la cuisine et chambre/véranda, et coucher de soleil coté volcan depuis la petite terrasse. Pour les enfants, terrains de jeux, basket et foot à moins de 50m!

Eine totale Enttäuschung

Der Panoramablick ist sehr schön, allerdings nur vom Sclafzimmer aus zu genießen. Ansonsten geben die Bilder im Internet zwar die Wirklichkeit wider, allerdings läßt sich nicht erkennen, das alles, die Wohnzimmermöbel, die Kücheneinrichtung, die Betten , die Terrassenstühle und Polster sehr abgenutzt, verfleckt und unappetitlich sind. Die Terrasse ist nur mit den alten Gartenmöbeln zu benutzen, kein Platz zum Essen oder richtiges Sonnenbaden. DIe Küchenausstattung ist minimal und qualitativ eine Zumutung, keine Kaffeemaschine, kein Wasserkocher, angeschlagenes Geschirr, abgenutzte Kochutensilien. Wir haben uns alles genau angesehen und sind nach 2 Stunden verärgert wieder abgereist um uns ein neues Domizil zu suchen.

Beschrijving wordt waar gemaakt/What you see is what you get!

We were looking to find 2 weeks of serenity, space, and the independence of a comfortable apartment, separate from the touristic beaches. We found this excellent 3 chamber-apartment above the residence of Mr. Juanvi, which fulfilled all of the promises made on the website: a beautiful view on the sea and basin, within a peaceful village, including a complete kitchen, and all rooms (including the balcony on the roof) were splendid. We will certainly return here in the near future.

We had a nice week in this appartment

Spacious apartment, clean and neat, with a nice view on the ocean. The possibility of the open windows was very nice (in januari). Good equipment, comfortable beds. Quiet area. Good climate, beautiful and pure nature, nice (rocky) beaches. The communication with our host, Juanvi, was not to much (summary). It is convenient to have some phrases in Spanish ready. Shopping in Guatiza, Teguise. Nice restaurants in Teguise, Arrieta.

ausgesprochen schöne Ferienwohnung mit freundlichem Vermieter und toller Aussicht.

Wir haben drei Wochen in der Wohnung gelebt und waren sehr zufrieden. Der Blick aufs Meer aus allen Fenstern der Zimmer ist bezaubernd. Der Vermieter lässt einen in Ruhe reagierte aber sehr schnell als wir uns mit einem Problem bei ihm meldeten (Internetverbindung) Innerhalb von wenigen Stunden war ein Techniker vor Ort.

klasse Wohnung mit netten Vermietern

eine sehr schöne Wohnung mit atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer. Wie waren sehr zufrieden. ein freundlicher Vermieter der nur kam wenn man etwas brauchte, Internet funktionierte nicht 8 Std später war ein Handwerker da, wir werden dort wieder buchen!

Unieke locatie...

Net terug van een week vakantie vieren op een unieke locatie, rust en licht, zeezicht vanuit slaapkamer, dakterras, woonkamer/keuken en zelfs de douche. Het huis is ruim, schoon, heeft een prettige indeling met 2 ruime slaapkamers, voldoende kastruimte, stapels handdoeken, goede douche, steeds warm water gehad, slaapkamers uitgerust met ruime bedden, ietwat harde matras maar daar hadden wij geen last van. Servies afgestemd op 4 personen, is genoeg maar houdt niet over. Wasmachine en kookstel/oven aanwezig. Koffiezetapparaat middels percolator. Uitzicht op het zoutwaterzwembad dat zich vult met het tij. Hierbij is een klein stukje zandstrand, maar dus niet met uitzicht op zee omdat het achter de muren van het zwembad ligt. Als we dan toch een minpuntje moeten noemen... Het huis heeft geen vaatwasser. Wij waren er met 2 kleine kinderen, daar is het niet erg op ingericht, het dakterras heeft een laag muurtje en ramen die open kunnen op hoogte dat kind er makkelijk uit kan vallen, het huis is een bovenwoning, dus op 1 hoog. Wij misten een stukje zandstrand aan de zee zelf, vooral voor de kleine kinderen. Een auto is hier echt nodig, naar het strand of grotere supermarkt is 20 min. Voor ons geen probleem, het rijden is goed te doen, goede wegen en overzichtelijk, rustig op de weg. Een plek om naar terug te gaan, vriendelijke eigenaar, konden tot vertrek in het huis blijven. Aanrader als je van rust, licht, ruimte en prachtige vergezichten houdt over zee.

Très belle vue !

Avec mon mari et notre petite fille de 15 mois, nous avons loué pour 15 jours ce très bel appartement. Le chambre face à la mer est très agréable si ce n'est qu'il faut un peu s'habituer au bruit du vent. La piscine d'eau de mer de Los Cocoteros est parfaite. L'endroit est très calme tout en étant proche des agglomérations de l'île. Le petit supermarché de Guatiza, à quelques minutes en voiture de l'appartement, est très pratique et propose des viandes marinées bonnes et bon marché. L'appartement est très bien équipé. Pas de TV mais cela ne manque pas. Nous recommandons !

A Month Away From The Cold.

We are just back from a month long stay at this apartment and found it to be perfectly adequate for two people. As with all holiday rentals there are some plusses and minuses but overall we had a relaxing stay. Juanvi is a very pleasant person and lives downstairs with his wife / partner and we only met him on arrival and departure. Our Spanish is pathetic so what conversation we had was stilted and initially conducted through Sigrid, a German lady who lives across the road and was with Juanvi when we met at the cactus garden on the first night. I had a little misgiving about meeting a stranger with slump of cash in my pocket but it was totally unfounded. Whilst the apartment couldn't be described as superb, it is far from being a crock and everything works. For our own comfort we bought a few bits, kettle, coffee press etc from Ikea but didn't spend more than about €50 which is nothing if you are there for a month. There is nothing in the way of a bar or restaurant in the village and a car is essential. Guatiza is about 2.5 kM away and has a shop or two and a couple of bars and a restaurant which seemed to be pizzas mainly. We never used anything apart from the shop and took the opportunity for a trip out for the occasional lunch or dinner. Be aware the glass sided room and the terrace are North facing and at this time of year the sun is not on the terrace until midday. There is a parasol available which we used behind the steamer chairs as a wind break and it worked fine. This room is good at this time of year for reading or just watching folk come and go. Not sure you could get it dark enough for sleeping in. The main bedroom is large and has a good sized double bed and two large wardrobes. There is no safe anywhere but we just left the laptop etc in the wardrobe and locked the bedroom door when we were out and about. Los Cocoteros appears to be a very safe place and people frequently leave doors and windows open all day. Juanvi provided a fan heater which we used twice to take the chill off the bedroom before turning in. There is a lightweight duvet and bedspread but we only saw one set of bedding so part of our €50 spend was on another set from Euro Spar and we left every thing we bought for future clients. Wifi is fairly reliable and runs at around 2meg which allowed us to do FaceTime calls to our kids and watch UK tv via the Film-on app. So, overall it's not the Ritz Carlton but it is perfectly liveable.

Very tranquil and peaceful. away from the crowds.

My family consists of 3 and this apartment was exactly what we wanted, very tranquil and peaceful away from the tourist crowds. On arriving we were greeted by a German lady across the road who showed us around. The apartment is spacious, clean and light with wonderful sea views. We found there was more than enough utensils and cooking was an everyday treat as we sampled a lot of fish fresh, salads and pechuga de pollo marinated in oil and garlic and from the supermercado in Guatiza. The fridge freezer is very large and the oven and hob were new along with a new washing machine. There is a lovely terrazza to spend the evenings having a cool drink or two, playing cards etc. and very private. Internet is provided and is very slow as the signal in Los Cocoterros is poor but we managed. The huge natural swimming pool in the village is amazing. A swim every day is advised just as the locals do on a morning. If you want lots of activities then this may not be the place for you but if you have a car ( this is a must) you can drive all over the island. Arrieta beach is beautiful and is just 10 mins away. Playa Honda where we did most of our main shopping at the Mercodonna Supermercado is just 30 mins away, it's worth a trip as the prices are soooo low!! There is no T.V however we didn't miss this at all It might be something that could be put in place with a DVD player for children. Also we didn't get to meet the owner but he was probably busy with other things. We would definitely recommend this Apartment to those who want to see the real Lanzarote and with transport any where is possible from this lovely base. Many thanks Juan for a relaxing peaceful stay. Beautiful appartment

The appartment is very clear and clean, in a real village,very peacefull . There are not enough dishes and tools in the kitchen, no salad bowl, only a little pan, no wine glasses ..This can be easily repared ! The nearest restaurant at this time was at several kilometer in Arieta . There was no hair dryer, but the température was hot ! For two people, its ok, for 4 personns, the second bedroom , as you see on the photo has glass walls , and it is never dark in the night, even you draw the curtains .
