Holyhead and Trearddur Bay are both close by; the former has many quaint stores and taverns, as well as the breath-taking Breakwater and County Park. Trearddur Bay, meanwhile, is framed by a stunning stretch of rugged coastline, pristine sandy beaches and coves, and the photogenic South Stack Lighthouse. Beaumaris, on the opposite side of the island, is a fantastic mediaeval town with a dramatic castle and a variety of fun attractions.
