Walk in shower, toilet & hand basin.

Starter toilet roll. Hand and bath towel for number of guests booked provided.

Open Plan Kitchen / Lounge / Diner

Fully equipped kitchen with oven, stove, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery and dining and cooking essentials.

Tea towels, J cloth, sponge, washing up liquid, antibacterial surface spray, hand wash, dishwasher tablets and a starter kitchen roll are provided.

The lounge features an electric fire, Smart TV and sliding doors which step out onto the decked terrace with dining furniture and steps down to the garden and waters edge.

Mooring and Parking

Private quay headed mooring at the end of the garden. Use of slipway at our marina on request. Please advise if you are bringing a boat.

Private Parking x 3 cars.

Dog Friendly Holidays

Our lodges are pet friendly, we charge £30 per pet. Maximum of 2 dogs.

Extra Information

Electricity and Wi-Fi included.
Cot and highchair on request.
Shed with fish bait fridge and 2 x recliner sun loungers.
Fishing only permitted in open season. A rod license is required.
The terrace edge is open and there is a 1 foot gap from the ground to the bottom of the terrace trellis (see property photo) due to it being elevated as many properties are on the Broads - please bear this in mind if bringing dogs or children.
Please note that there is an unfenced river at the end of the garden.

Beautiful ideally located riverside accommodation

Spent a week here in May and was really impressed. House is beautifully positioned on the river, well laid out to make the best of the river view spotlessly clean. We really appreciated the little doggy basket with blankets, treats and even a toy for our pooch. Thoroughly enjoyed being there.

All good location and lodge but alas no fish so won’t be returning

My husband and son not impressed as no fish but lodge was great but the point is that’s why they chose this lodge for the fishing

Riverside break

The location was spot on, the accommodation was superb. Tina, the holiday lodge manager was very helpful, very friendly and a pleasure to meet. Have already booked for next year.

Perfect accommodation and location

You can never be 100% sure what you will find when arriving somewhere new, in spite of how much research you do but River View exceed our expectations, both on the accommodation and location fronts. Everything was clean and well maintained and the view from the lounge through the patio doors was amazing, especially at sunset. Fishing was comfortable from the decking area at the bottom of the garden. Train station and pub within a 5 minute walk and a Co-op a 20 minute walk. Booked again for next year, while we were still there.

Wonderful retreat

If you need to relax and watch the world go by on the water this is the place. Lots of bird life, Marsh harriers, Grebes, swans and garden birds.

Our summer break!

This is our second time at the cottage and it delivers on all aspects for an ideal holiday by the river in Norfolk (shame about the weather) Tina is a first class holiday manager.

Lovely lodge

We had a great week here and the reason I have given 4 for location is that the local area for dog walking is very limited. We loved watching the river activity and the garden and decking were ideal. Tina was extremely friendly and helpful.

Another great week

Just finished our second week this year in River View, and it was perfect except for one day which was wet ! A great property with a marvelous view of river & wildlife. Warm, comfortable & clean. Already booked for next year, can’t wait !! Tina is a perfect host & made sure our stay was good.

Beautiful holiday lodge

Riverview was absolutely perfect. Had everything needed for a self catering holiday. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever had in a holiday let with lovely pillows and duvet. The whole lodge was furnished to a high standard. Lovely peaceful location yet close to all amenities. Met “Tina” who manages the lodges and she was very helpful and friendly.

A hidden Gem

1st time stay at River View and we were well impressed, nice big frontage as you go through the gate, once inside the lodge it becomes clear as to why this holiday home is so popular, everything is laid out so well. living room,bathroom and bedrooms are lovely.nice outside decking area to sit and watch the world go by ( weather permitting ) great team running the site especially Tina ( manager ) and Chris the maintenance man. We stayed for 2 weeks and loved it. Would definitely stay again.

We’ll be back

Our stay at River View was one of our best holidays ever. The lodge was lovely and the view second to none. We went out every day but couldn’t wait to get back to our lodge and sit out on our decking watching the river and the amazing wild birds, unbelievable. Great view

The house was in a lovely location with a high level finish. It was let down however by the lack of utensils in the kitchen and thought of what would be needed for a weeks stay. More of everything was needed plus additional items such as grater and larger bowls.

2nd time in River View

We have stayed in a number of Brundall lodges over the years, some better than others. After a dreadful experience a couple of years ago, we discovered Norfolk Holiday Lodges and stayed in River View for the first time last year. My, how they have upped the ante! I doubt we would consider staying with anyone else now. Everything in River View is of the highest quality and colour co-ordinated and every thought has gone into what you could need for a week's self catering holiday. We did venture out a few times while we were away, but couldn't wait to get back 'home'. I think that says it all. Tina, who manages the lodges is a credit to the company and we can't wait to visit again next year.

Idyllic stay at River View

Our stay at River View was idyllic, we have now stayed twice September 2022 and July 2023 and on both occasions enjoyed our stay enormously. The accommodation is exactly as pictured/described and that is always a big plus for me, we had everything we needed and the icing on the cake was the gorgeous view. My husband enjoyed the fishing at the end of the garden (actually caught some good weights) and being positioned on the river close to the marina’s made interesting viewing. Brundall is very well situated to get out and about to visit the attractions of Norfolk and very close to Norwich with the train station more or less on your doorstep, it’s a very good base.
