Bed linen provided.

Hand and bath towels provided for number of guests staying.

Full kitchen with oven, stove, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, dining and cooking essentials.

Tea towels, J cloth, sponge, washing up liquid, antibacterial surface cleaner, hand wash, dishwasher tablets and a starter kitchen roll are provided.

Lounge area with Smart TV & Dining area seating up to 5 guests. The double French doors lead out to the veranda with dining furniture and decking down to the rivers' edge.

Mooring and Parking

Private quay headed mooring. Please advise if you are bringing a boat and need use of the slipway.

Private Parking x 1 car.

Additional parking is available at our marina just down the road and free of charge to residents – please request.

Dog friendly holidays

Our lodges are dog friendly, we charge £30 per pet. Maximum 2 dogs. Please reserve and pay Norfolk Holiday Lodges directly.

Fantastic lodge perfect location

Well this is another holiday with Norfolk Holidays and this time at Natures Nook. What a week, beautiful lodge, fantastic location right on the river yare, lots of peace and tranquility and a few sailing yachts and crushers to watch. This is our 3rd lodge. Fishing was fantastic too as it was on the main river. We like the properties they have all been nicely decorated, spacious and clean. Highly recommend this type of holiday with Norfolk Holidays.

Excellent stay we will be back

We had a lovely stay, we will definitely be back, everything u need home from home, we visited the pub the white heron just a 7/8 minute walk friendly and lovely food. We also hired a boat on 1 day and went to BeWILDerwood on another definitely worth a visit

Excellent Week at Nature's Nook

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Nature's Nook. We arrived a bit early for check in, but the accommodation was all ready and Tina was amazing and happy for us to check in. Tina was so warm and welcoming and clearly took a lot of pride in ensuring the accommodation was spick and span for our arrival, a real perfectionist which made for a very clean and lovely start to our week, The lodge is fantastic and in a perfect location for fishing and sitting watching the boats go by. We hired a canoe for the week which was brilliant as we could moor it up next to the lodge. Great for going over to the pub opposite and exploring the smaller areas off the main river. There was a great information pack which included places to eat and would definitely recommend Bella Pizza and Kebabs. lovely pizza and the nicest staff we have ever come across. We had everything we needed in the lodge. The bed was super comfy (if a little small as it was a double and we are used to bigger), We thoroughly enjoyed our week and the kids are desperate to return again soon.

A beautiful and serene hideaway

We were three adults in this lodge for a week. It was beautiful and quiet. The boat traffic passing by just yards of our back deck made for constant entertainment. We did a lot of evening reading in the comfortable deck furniture ,being entertained by the waterfowl. The sailing race on the last day was a cherry on top. This place is snug with a double bed and not a queen (American sizing). If that doesn't put you off, you will enjoy being 1/2 mile from a terrific pub & restaurant, there's a lunch stop & bakery nearby, and perfectly located for touring the Broads and all of Norfolk. We had a great time in Norwich visiting the market and cathedral. Our day trips to the coast, Cromer, Shearingham & Wells were memorable. Everyone we came across was cheerful, helpful and generous in accomodating Americans on the loose on the B roads and small lanes. It was a memorable stay.

Lovely property, beautiful location, lively to watch boats and relax. Very comfortable inside, this is the 3rd property we have been to with Norfolk Holiday lodges, will definitely return

A beautiful stay in a beautiful location

Amazing lodge in an idyllic location. Clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The children loved seeing the swans and cygnets up close every morning and there are beautiful walks near by.

Amazing place !!

From the moment I booked the customer service was amazing conformation emails and directions for the stay. Tanya made our visit extra special going the extra mile. I will definitely be returning, the place was really clean comfortable and really great space inside , the outside waters edge is such a beautiful view sunsets was a dream .

Great location

Amazing location right on the water’s edge. Very idyllic. Good local amenities. Norfolk Holidays were available if needed. I could not fault anything.

A wonderful stay at natures nook will definitely return

We had a wonderful stay at natures nook. The lodge is amazing very clean and modern the beds were so comfy and my son loved the bunk beds. The kitchen facilities were also very good and we didn’t even feel the need to eat out!there is a lovely pub a short walk away and the staff were lovely! We loved nothing more than relaxing in the evening and enjoying the wonderful views. A very relaxing stay and we can’t wait to return.

Perfect

Lovely lodge in a fabulous location. Everything was clean and fresh with a nice cozy feel. We had a couple of days rain but were still able to sit outside under the roof overhang. Can’t wait to return next year!

Just all round excellent.

Tina goes over and above to make sure customers are happy. Great location. Not sure I like the single bed above a small double but I am on the large side!! Nice walk in shower. Very comfortable lounge area. Kitchen fully equipped. Veranda and outdoor seating great.

November stay in the Broads

The cabin was exceptionally clean with all the utensils and facilities in very good order. The only minor niggles were around lighting which was either full ceiling lamps which were very bright or one lamp in the living area, meaning reading at night was impossible. Some dimming ceiling lights or more table lamps would be better. Access to the river was excellent, providing a very easy platform for embarking and disembarking the boat. The instructions for access and facilities were clear and everything was as expected.

4 Night Stay

The accommodation far exceeded our expectations with very comfortable lounge, eating, sleeping and shower room all spotlessly maintained. The waterside patio and decking area made for beautifully serene relaxing nature lover and anglers perfect place to chill. Definite thumbs up!!!

Outstanding riverside lodge

Outstanding riverside lodge, with beautiful decking and access to the Yare and the Broads. We enjoyed paddling to two local pubs and tranquil meanders around the local broads. Our holiday was enhanced by the fabulous service provided by Tina, who couldn’t have been more welcoming and accommodating. We loved the local marina cafe and the train provided fabulous access to Norwich and other places. Strumpshaw RSPB reserve nearby was really great.

Clothes hanging area not great would prefer wardrobe / small mats by bed trip hazard for wife who has mobility issues Beds really uncomfortable / would of liked more than 1 door key Apart from that loved it

Relaxing holiday

Nature's Nook was a delightful property on the River Yare at Brundall. We enjoyed sitting watching the boats and wildlife from the lounge and the decking area which had plenty of seating. The interior of the property was good, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. Brundall station was a short walk away so we used the train for trips to Great Yarmouth, Norwich and Cromer. We had a nice meal one evening at The White Heron which is next to the station. I would have liked to have done more fishing. I tried once but there was too much weed and lily pads, but that did not ruin the holiday.

6 STARS !!!!

Absolutely loved staying here even though the fishing season had ended. The accommodation is of a standard seldom seen in a riverside rental. Everything was in the same class & in some cases way above that I've previously found in many hotels. So peaceful, with views to absolutely die for, just what we needed at the time. Our two Spaniels absolutely loved being there & we will most definitely be back sometime very soon but for longer this time.

Wish we had booked for the summer

The lodge is excellent everything you need, right on the main river, the decking area would be a real sun trap in the summer ., For the fisherman you are provided with a shed to store your tackle and there is also a bait fridge. The lodge is clean comfortable easy to find and not far from local shops,pub,ect. This year's holiday entitlement all booked up but we will return hopefully 2026 at some point. ,

Comfortable Pretty Lodge with Stunning Views

Wonderful lodge in the most stunning location. Lovely and quiet but with such lovely views. Sitting watching the boats and yachts and being visited daily by the swans and ducks was enchanting. Loved my stay , as did my labradoodle. Even though not enclosed at the front of the property, it was easy to make it safe enough for her, using a long line. Great communication with Tina the owner too. So hope to return soon...
