Great ski condo

Owner was great with communication. Condo is in great location for skiing Okemo. Very spacious and well equipped. Would love to stay here again!!

Beautiful location

Condo was comfortable and homey. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Pretty sure if you forgot something they would have it there for you to use. Very generous.

Beautiful condo in the woods.

Terrific property for stays all year round. GREAT amenities throughout. Had to take a few conference calls and the WI-FI was excellent as well. Owner was very helpful in communication throughout stay. Hope to stay again sometime. Thanks!

Amazing Ski Condo

We had a great time at this condo. Everything was clean and comfortable. Our host, Diane, was very communicative and checked in during our stay. The location is very quite and beautiful and only short 5min to Jackson Gore. We can't wait to come back next winter!

Fabulous stay!

Property description and photos are accurate and Diane is a dog-loving joy to work with. Her condo is in a fabulous location to enjoy Okemo and the surrounding areas. As an added bonus, the full-time neighbors were all super nice. We will be back!

Wonderful Fall Stay

We were in town for an event and needed a comfortable pet friendly accommodation. Ludlow was hit very hard after a major storm and the owner kept us updated on the conditions of the surrounding area as well as her home. We enjoyed the Ludlow area and did some hiking and biking as well as taking a peddle boat ride on the beautiful lake. Our dog enjoyed some swimming as well. The location is perfect to get away from it all. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. We will be back!

Skiers' Sanctuary

We are 3 retired couples, all active skiers, and are very fortunate to have booked Diane's lovely townhouse, which is so very convenient to skiing at Okemo and at Jackson Gore, as well as many options for dining and shopping in Ludlow. We felt very welcomed in her home (enjoyed the chocolates left for us!), and found it to be one of the best-stocked homes among several other accommodations in other ski areas we have gone to. Diane promptly replied to questions we had, and even followed up after our stay. We would all love to return here in the future!

Great place right next to Okemo!

The place was great and very "homey". The jacuzzi tub was massive, which was nice at first sight, but when I realized hot water only lasted a few minutes, it wouldn't fill up past the jets, no biggie I suppose. Was not advertised as a duplex, which it was so had to keep it cordial for the neighbors. Other than that - fantastic place!!!

Fantastic all-around!

Diane is the most gracious and communicative host I've ever encountered. Every question that we had, from "do you happen to have an air mattress " to " where is a good nearby hiking spot" was answered quickly and thoroughly. The house is spacious, clean and incredibly well-appointed. We couldn't believe that we had 6 kayaks at our disposal (plus other boats!). Our dogs were welcomed enthusiastically, which was a big plus for us. You can NOT go wrong with this property or host.

Great price for all the house has to offer!

I can not begin to tell you what an amazing stay we had at this condo. First off, the owners were fantastic to work with. They truly went above and beyond. Second, you hardly know you are staying in a condo - it feels like a single family home. We did meet our immediate neighbors who reside here and they are a very sweet couple. There was plenty of room for our large party - 2 adults, 5 teenage girls and 2 dogs. No one ever felt crowded or under foot. The kitchen is great - very spacious and well equipped. No surprises here - the photos and description of the property are completely accurate. This is a very comfortable home that you and your family can relax in. Thank you, Diane, for even trying to help us with our car trouble.

A hidden gem

My family and friends (8 total) have spent a week in this property; this is a condo, but you have the feeling of being in a standalone house, nestled in the woods and secluded from noise and traffic. The unit is very well designed and spacious - with an open feeling in the kitchen/living-room area which far exceeds what you can guess from the pictures published here. The master bedroom on the top floor has a very comfortable king size bed (tempurpedic matresses), and is connected to a bathroom with a spectacular, oversized jacuzi (and shower). The bottom floor (the unit is on three levels) has two "official" bedrooms, one of them with bunk beds and a queen, the other one with a queen and a single; there is also a den (with a door), which works very well as additional bedroom, with a comfortable futon. A bathroom and the laundry room are at the same level. The kitchen (middle level) has all you need for cooking and baking, and is adjacent the dining/living-room - with a table which can be extended to easily host than at least 10 people; an additional half bathroom is at the same level as the kitchen. You have cathedral ceilings above the fireplace, which provide a nice, airy, open area. We were there after Christmas; the drive to Jackson Gore for skiing was short and smooth - no traffic going there or coming back (if you know Okemo, you know traffic is a mess if you need to get at the base lodge in the village) . Dealing with the owner, Diane, was a pleasure. Diane was very responsive and accomodating, and she answered immediately any questions we had before and after getting there. In short, a highly recommended property-owner combination. We will surely try going back again.

Challenging Stay

I am surprised that I am writing this given the very strong reviews preceding my review. My wife and I stayed in the condo for the shortest possible time every day because the musty/moldy odor in the condo was extremely bothersome. It hits you the moment you enter the condo. The unit itself is in good but not great condition and showing its age but we expected that from the pics. The overwhelming odor we did not.

Lovely property

Beautiful Lake Vacation Spot

This is an ideal spot for a vacation in Vermont - a beautiful, spacious and well stocked home with immediate access to a lovely lake for swimming and boating (lots of canoes and kayaks included), as well as an excellent place for long walks and hikes. Probably the best equipped kitchen we've ever had in a rental. Can't be beat!

Exceptional home!

Highest recommendation for this lovely spacious but still cozy pet-friendly condo. From the moment we opened the door, we felt like we were staying at a friend’s home. Not only is it well-stocked with staples, there are so many other thoughtful amenities throughout. Diane was the perfect host and so attentive to any of our questions. The location is perfect— a lovely setting only minutes from Ludlow, Okemo and Jackson Gore. (We found the parking to be more convenient and less crowded at Jackson Gore.) We definitely look forward to a return visit, perhaps during the summer next time. Thanks again, Diane, for sharing your home with us.

Wonderful winter retreat

We had a lovely vacation at this condo. It is nestled in the woods on Echo Lake. The neighbors are friendly and there are plenty pretty paths to walk our dogs. The home is only a few minutes from Okemo so that you can make it there early enough for good parking. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Green Mountain Sugar House is right down the road for delicious maple ice cream. Diane went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Large condo near Okemo

My family of 5 and brother in law took in 4 days of skiing at Okemo. This was the perfect place to stay and launch our days on the slopes. Very quiet area. Beautiful setting. The condo has everything you would need to be comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything for food prep. The beds and sleeping areas are also very comfortable! The hosts are quick responders and accommodating. Highly recommend! We are already talking about a return trip to the condo at Okemo!

Perfect spot for skiing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the amazing conditions at super-close Okemo and not-too-far-away Killington. The condo is super cozy and the kitchen well-stocked, perfect for eating in which we did every night. We also loved the delicious maple creemies at the nearby Green Mountain Sugar House!

Relaxing and LOTS of space.

We came for 4 nights to go hiking and kayaking with our two dogs and also a quite place to relax. There was so much space we did not even use the first floor. The jacuzzi tub is huge and was perfect to use after a physical day. All the water vessel options were great. The kitchen was very well stocked with non-perishables as well as kitchen supplies you truly did not need to bring anything. Highly recommend grocery shopping after you've seen what the kitchen has or ask in advance. ( there was coffee, sugar, condiments, spices and many more). Note: grill is charcoal if you have a preference. We also went to the sugar shack nearby for lots of candy/snacks and maple ice cream.

A Great Find

I chose this place because of the wonderful reviews I read about the owners Aq and Diane. The reviews were spot on. Communication was superb, the lake was crystal clear with a sandy bottom and great kayaking opportunities. A short paddle actress the lake brought us to a sugar shack and ice cream store. Nearby restaurants were excellent and the house itself could not have been better stocked. Local hiking trails were plentiful and for us it was just a little bit of heaven. We hope someday to rent again. Great spot for kids or golden oldies like ourselves

Nice Get-away

The condo was quiet (at the end of a dead end road as well), comfortable and conveniently located to town ( and Shaws supermarket). Location on the pond was special. Amenities were well supplied (boats, life preservers, equipment in the house, outdoor grill, etc., everything we needed). Owner very accommodating on timing of arrival and departure. Highly recommended.

Summer Family Vacation

This condo on lake Pauline was perfect for our summer family vacation. The house was well stocked with anything you needed or thought you forgot .We had so much fun kayaking on the lake and hiking on near by trails. The owner Diane was super responsive to any questions I had. We're definitely stay here again and highly recommend to all!
