Ubicado en una calle muy tranquila, nuestra hermosa casa de campo para 11 personas cómodamente. Rodeado de árboles maduros y en un acre de tierra, lleve a su familia a disfrutar de los días cálidos en la playa y las tardes junto a la fogata. Estamos ubicados a 2 millas del centro de Sawyer, un gran lugar para visitar cervecerías locales, el Centro de Jardinería Sawyer y excelente comida. Nuestra propiedad cuenta con arbustos de bayas para recoger y generalmente una visita nocturna por los pavos locales. En el centro de todo lo que Harbor County tiene para ofrecer, venga a hospedarse en nuestra hermosa casa actualizada.

We really enjoyed the space. We loved the decor and skylights in the living room. Kitchen is fully stocked and we loved the record player. Cons: Beds were a bit too firm for our liking and I found it odd that we had to have linens in the dryer before check out. It made the morning of check out a bit stressful because we had to be awake early enough to strip the linens, put them to wash AND then dry. Also, do not recommend if you have dander allergies as there is a lot of animal hair.

Great property and checked all of our boxes. Stayed two weeks and explored all of SW Michigan. Right next to the lake and close to all the towns that you will want to check out in the area. Highly recommend Adam and Carla’s house!!!

Great place to stay!

This house was a great place to stay! We loved the location near downtown Sawyer and used our bikes to explore the bike route. The house was in good shape and clean! The owners were very quick to respond to questions and organized about check in and out procedures as well as expectations. The location is also great to be able to go to St. Joseph and New Buffalo.

Great communication once we arrived and had questions. Super location with lots of great day trips to take from here, and it was surprisingly very quiet. We thought we'd hear traffic, but not the case at all. Nice big yard for the dog, plenty of parking and great vibes in the decor. :)

Family Dream Come True

Lovely, light filled and decorated in mid century modern style that was pleasing and comfortable for both the 4 young children and 4 adults getting together for a beach vacation. Nice well equipped kitchen and 2 upscale bathroom. All was very clean and orderly on arrival. Proximity to Warren Dunes beach was a big plus. Would love to stay here again.

Carla’s place was perfect for our friend weekend getaway. The cottage is beautiful, clean, and well appointed with everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Snowy get away!

It was a lot of fun to get away. Had lots of snow falling which was absolutely beautiful and we even got to the lake and walked around the sand, which was of course covered with snow, and see the frozen waves in the distance. The house was warm and inviting and had everything we needed.

Bright Comfortable Beachy Cottage

Light beachy cottage is in a great location, on a quiet dead end street. Large comfortable beds and all the thoughtful touches throughout. The only thing we might suggest to add is a small portable fan for the queen bedroom.

Annual Family Tradition

Our 4th year staying at the property and it's just as fun as the first. Terrific location provides a sense of calm even while being close to all the great local attractions. Property is clean, well appointed, and communication is always great.

Fun Family Time

Great location, private, excellent communication/responsiveness, comfortable, welcoming, and attractive mix of cozy and modern. Loved having the big table to gather around and close access to the beach. Enjoyed the Sawyer Garden Center and the recommendation of Black Currant Bakehouse for our celebratory cake -- delicious! Excellent late summer retreat

We throughly enjoyed staying here. The house we better equipped that any 5 star hotel I’ve stayed at. It sure made the stay even better. Great private back yard with fire pit. Large deck was perfect for afternoon visiting with each other. Even had a family ping pong tournament. The house was bright and very comfortable. Perfect size for the 5 of us. Thank you!

Quaint cottage on quiet street, near beach

Such a great cottage! Ample space for 5 adults & 2 dogs. We enjoyed the deck (west facing), fire pit, ping pong table in garage, the digital vinyl record player & records. There was plenty of utensils & cooking supplies too. Warren Dunes was <1 mile away & the local vineyards were a short distance. Can’t wait to come back again

Comfortable retro feel home that allows pets!

Everything about our stay was excellent. We loved the decor, retro games and turntable with 70s and 80s records. The beds were comfortable and the living area was cozy with the fireplace. Having two bathrooms available to get ready for our son’s wedding was a huge plus. The bathroom off of the master bedroom has a great shower and the other one has a jet tub. Our dogs also enjoyed it :) We would definitely stay again!

Cozy home away from home

My family and I wanted to get away and just enjoy some time together and this was the perfect place! The house was perfect, the yard was wonderful for the kids to roam and for us to enjoy the sunshine. It was nice neighborhood, and with it being a dead end road, we didn’t have to worry all that much about traffic. This will be a vacation we will be able to talk about for a long time and the memories are endless. Carla was quick to reply when messaged and she made sure any questions were answered!

I look forward to getting this review removed. Sandy, I responded promptly to you repeatedly. I changed your dates without additional fees when you asked for new dates 1 week before your initial booked dates. When you notified us 5 days after your 2nd dated stay ended without any communication telling us you had not stayed, we could not offer you any further solutions. I am confused why you even wrote this review when you stated you had not even entered our property. You confirmed you understood I would be unable to change your reservation again after the stay.

Great home in Southwest Michigan

My wife, 2 dogs and I stayed here for 4 days and 4 nights. The host was great at getting us settled in, then we never had need to touch base after. Instructions were clear, the place was as described, and the whole stay was perfect. Dogs loved running around out back. We did a fire one night, which was really relaxing. The area was very conveniently located. 20 to 25 minutes got you to anything you might want to do, with a few nice breweries and restaurants within 7 minutes. We did some hiking, each day, and never repeated a route during our time. The dunes amd the "dog beach" arent really that useful for dogs to run around because they wont let dogs be off leash. So not a knock on this stay at all, more a note for those looking in the area. To end back on the place, it was a perfect stay, amd we would definitely recommend it.
