The house has a total of 4 bedrooms, all with private bathrooms.

The fully equipped kitchen, the living room, dinning room and huge outdoor areas turn this house into the perfect spot for family vacations. Free wi-fi is available in the living room and there’s also a TV with cable service.

Casa do Monte was recovered but most features are as close to the original as possible. The old wood stove, the kitchen floor in lavoura stone, the wooden attic room or the stone benches near the windows where the old ladies used to sat and stare at the surroundings, are few of the small things that make this house so special. Outside, a water spring lies under a small shed, close to the "casinha", the original bathroom of the old days, also restored. The lavoura stone tables and the araucárias deck, facing towards the Vila Franca islet, are places that leave their mark and invite you to wonder through the property’s garden.

One of the bedrooms is located on the first floor. Access to this floor is via stairs, passing through the kitchen.

A part of the extensive garden is fenced and with restricted access. In this area we have two dogs that guard the property when we have no guests.

The garden needs maintenance and interventions almost daily, so sometimes you can find our gardener on the property, who will also feed the dogs daily. However, and to guarantee your privacy, access is always made through a gate that exists at the end of the garden.

Guests have exclusive access to the property (without sharing it with other guests or the owners).

Caloura is located in “Água de Pau”, a small village that belongs to the Lagoa town council, where you'll find a supermarket, a pharmacy and a Tourism office, amongst other services.
It’s a wonderful and quiet area, where you'll experience an overwhelming peace, typical of a small place where only some people live and most of the houses are summer residences for the locals. Very close to the house (6 minutes walking distance) there's a small fishing port with a restaurant/bar, pool and direct access to the sea. There's also a beautiful little beach, about 5 minutes away by car.
