The beaches at Carlyon Bay, Duporth and Par have expanses of white to golden sand, coves and cliff top walks. Charlestown transports you back to a time when tall ships would depart to far off shores and still has a small fleet of these beautiful vessels today. Here there are restaurants and pubs, and the Shipwreck Museum is well worth a visit. St Austell has a large range of shops and eateries, whilst a little along the coast lies Fowey within an area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You will find narrow streets, boutique shops and superb architecture, superb sea views and its very own wonderfully named Readymoney Cove.
