The home is in great condition, very comfortable in and out. It was perfect weather to have a fire and enjoy the sunshine on the deck and hot tub outside. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to be back next year.

Kitchen was well equipped and very clean. The dish design was thought fully chosen, and there were plenty of mugs, bowls and nice glassware. Condiments were available and coffee. Brita filter for water. Loved the whole entire cabin decor.. cozy and comfortable. Plenty of wood for the fireplace, too. Hot tub was super clean and restful. I loved the fluffy towels and robes. The hosts are very good at making you feel pampered. And the garden was beautiful… coastal succulents, and yard was fenced… nice for our dog. We came away very rested, and will be back at some point!

Great space, great location! We wanted a casual few days away near the beach and this more than fit the bill. Clean, well appointed and close to amazing beaches. We had great meals and shopped in some unique gift shops…couldn’t ask for more…perfect little get away!

Garden of Delights!

We were first greeted by many hummingbirds as we pulled into the driveway! Bright succulent garden fills the front yard. Cabin is clean and efficient use of space for two. There is a ladder to a loft with an additional single bed but we did not use it - meant for a much younger person! Spacious deck outside overlooking the Russian River. Cozy fireplace indoors for cool mornings. We enjoyed our stay!

Weekend in heaven (Haven)

A much needed (and overdue!) getaway in Jenner. Thank you for the perfect cabin! Gorgeous view of the sea in a bucolic and serene hillside. Forgot how much peace Jenner and Bodega Bay gives me. The hot tub was a quencher. Definitely coming back for a visit soon with our sweet girl, Ginger.

Heavenly at The Haven

Went up for a quick birthday weekend retreat. The home is nestled in dense forest with the sounds of the Russian River in earshot. We didn’t see a single person the entire time we were up there. Although modest in size, it has absolutely everything you’ll need. Kitchen was user friendly, with updated appliances. Bed was extra comfortable, with a sunroof looking straight up at the stars at night. The hot tub was luxurious and the fireplace was all ready for us to start a roaring fire to fall asleep to. We knew the minute we walked in that we would be back again. Hosts were so gracious and welcoming. I’m already booking our next trip here!

Beautiful Views and Wonderful Cozy Vibe

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay! We loved the cozy cabin vibe, nice kitchen for cooking, hot tub, and comfortable furniture! We also liked the fact that we could access hiking locally and that we could bring our well-behaved standard farm poodle with us. We’d book again in a heartbeat!

The Haven is Heaven

From the moment we pulled up, we could not believe our eyes: “What? Is that the place?” Perched on the hillside with beautiful succulents, a small stream, a wraparound deck, and super easy checkin, this haven was immediately welcoming. Everything about it was perfect for my husband, our dog, and me. It was the perfect amount of space to hang-out together or have a private moment. We were so fortunate to have fantastic weather, even in January, so it was delightful to move between the cool crisp winter air outside to the warm snuggly cottage inside. It had the perfect amount of kitchen supplies (dishes, spices, oils, pots, pans, coffee makers, an electric kettles and a blender). It had the perfect number of amenities like shampoo, lotion, towels, spare toothbrushes, robes. It had games and supplies for the dog. Honestly, it feels like they thought of everything. We genuinely felt like our hosts wanted us to feel welcome and enjoy ourselves, which is a feeling one doesn't always get in a rental. This is one of our favorite places we've stayed – ever - and we've stayed in probably close to a hundred across different countries. In the future, when I want to cheer myself up, I will remember sitting in the hot tub at the Haven, looking at the trees and listening to the stream. Or better yet, we will visit again.

An adorable retreat in the hills above Jenner. Small, but everything you need with a gorgeous fenced yard, nicely planted, and a great hot tub. Hosts are very easy to work with. I, my husband and our two dogs loved it!

Beautiful, cozy cabin

We will definitely stay here again. Very private and lovely walks from the cabin. The views were amazing and my dog loved the wild yard. Very special place!

A True Haven

We spent a week at Jenner Haven. What a treat. The kitchen was so well appointed that cooked in most of the time. A lot of relaxing, reading, & hot tubbing. Peaceful and quiet in a beautiful setting. Hosts were very responsive. We will be back. ( for a great kayak tour, check out Smart Sonoma Tour… Eric the owner took us out for a great morning)

Beautifully Situated Rustic Beach Cabin

Charming rustic beach cabin with a million dollar patio view. Coming from a hot inland area, the cool weather and fog was a welcome relief. The cabin is located in the Monterey Pine forest which made me realize it has been far too long since I looked out a kitchen window and saw nothing but garden and trees. The not for the faint hearted part of the cabin would be the sky light over the bed. In our opinion, a blackout track shade that opened and closed would do the trick. Also, the well used bed was a little hard on our +60 year old backs. Loved our stay and looking forward to coming back.

Peaceful Jenner getaway

We had a wonderful time at the Haven, playing board games, sitting in front of the fire, and having lunch at Cafe Aquatica. Very quiet and nature-filled surroundings. Note that there is no separate bedroom, so we decided to go just the two of us and leave the dog at home!

Perfect little Paradise

We had a wonderful stay at the Haven. The house was cozy. The outdoors was breath taking. We loved all the different plants and succulents.Great views from the deck. The beach was close. We had perfect weather. We went kayaking. Which was right down the hill. Cafe Aquatica was great! We liked the fenced yard for our dog. We would love to go back. Thank you!

Just what we needed to disconnect

It was our first time visiting the west coast or as my earth sister calls it, the Best coast, lol. Carrie (the property owner) returned all my emails promptly and answered all my questions prior to our arrival. I was in constant awe of the beauty we were surrounded by. The property itself was a gift to the senses. An abundance of natural fragrance from all the plant life. The views from the deck of the Russian River and the Sonoma coastline were just beautiful. It's a wonderful cottage that is well-equipped to fit all your needs. After a day of exploring, that sunken bathtub was just great. There is a hot tub in the yard; It's totally private and we really enjoyed it. We slept so well, the most comfortable bed! So much to see in Jenner and the surrounding area along the coastline;the sunsets are not to be missed. Cafe Aquatica was great for brunch, Drakes in Bodega Bay and of course Rivers End both for dinner were fabulous. Armstrong Woods isn't to far as well as some great vineyards throughout Sonoma. We loved our time in Jenner and look forward to a second visit real soon!

Cozy Getaway

The Haven is the perfect couple's retreat. It was extremely clean, quiet, and comfortable, especially the bed. We had a very relaxing time, enjoyed the well-kept hot tub, and will definitely be back!

We are Sonoma County locals who love to celebrate living in one of the most spectacular places on the planet. Though we are not able to spend nearly as much time at the coast as we would like to, we are happy to share this little piece of paradise with our guests.

The open space surrounding the house and it's close proximity to the village makes it a very special place to visit--private and convenient.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The most special part of The Haven to us is the spirit/mojo/vibe of the place. The home was designed and built by an architect who had owned this land for many years before building the house as his own retreat, so it was built with an incredible awareness of/sensitivity to the surroundings. It is private, intimate, relaxing, and invigorating.

We love sitting in the hot-tub at night (especially in the rain), and listening to the waves crashing and the stream rushing by. We love having breakfast in the morning and wine and cheese in the afternoon with the hummingbirds.

We love that this is a place that our dog and kids enjoy as much as we do!
